The best mattress stores in and near Kentwood, Michigan

Updated October 18, 2026 · 26 stores, each checked against its own website

The best mattress stores in and near Kentwood are Ashley Outlet Grandville, Mattress Firm Northeast and JCPenney Grand Rapids. We rank stores by how many mattress brands you can try in person, then by how many of their delivery, old-bed removal and return policies they post, counting one location per chain. We checked 26 stores within 10 miles of central Kentwood, and no store pays to be listed.

  1. Ashley Outlet Grandville: 8 brands to try, including Tempur-Pedic, Purple and Sealy. Grandville, 8.6 mi, open Sunday; delivery and return terms not listed, so call to ask.
  2. Mattress Firm Northeast: 6 brands to try, including Tempur-Pedic, Stearns & Foster and Sealy. Northeast Kentwood, 2.6 mi, open Sunday; delivery and return terms not listed, so call to ask.
  3. JCPenney Grand Rapids: 5 brands to try, including Tempur-Pedic, Stearns & Foster and Sealy. Grand Rapids, 1.9 mi, open Sunday; $25 old-bed removal, publishes a return policy.

A few minutes on a showroom bed will not tell you how it feels after a month at home. Pick a bed you trust from a store whose exchange and return policy you can live with: 17 of the 26 stores here post a policy that lets you return a bed, so read the fees and time limits before you buy.
