How we check
How we built this list
Every fact has a source. Hours, brands and policies come from the store's own website. Each store links its sources. We do not print prices, because they change too often to keep right.
Two checks per store. A search finds the store. Then a script opens the store's own page and confirms the street address and phone number are on it, and that every policy line we quote is still there word for word. A store that fails is left off. Checks used for this page: Script check against the store's website; Store search (AI). The date on each store is the latest check.
Open stores only. We confirm each store is open within 90 days of the update date. Closed stores come off the page.
Within 12 miles. We only list stores within 12 miles of central Ann Arbor.
No paid spots. Stores cannot pay to be listed or ranked. We do not test mattresses in a lab; we compare the facts stores publish.
