Rather shop from home?
Some people skip the showroom and buy online with a long home trial, since a month in your own bed tells you more than a few minutes in a store. Saatva is one example: you get 365 nights to try it at home and free setup in your room, and a return costs $99. Read our Saatva review, or compare it with other online brands.
How these lists are made
- Checked against each store's website. A store is listed only when its own page shows its street address and phone number, and the address sits inside the city's search area.
- Policies are quoted, not guessed. Delivery, old-bed removal and returns lines are exact quotes from the store's site. If we cannot find one, we say so.
- How we rank. We rank stores by how many mattress brands you can try in person, then by how many of their delivery, old-bed removal and return policies they post, counting one location per chain. Ties after that go to the closer store.
- No paid spots. Stores cannot pay to be listed or ranked. We do not test mattresses in a lab; we compare the facts stores publish.
