Who we are

Nappedia™ is The U.S. Mattress Research Library at nappedia.com. You can reach us about anything on this page at hello@nappedia.com.

The short version

Nappedia is a content site. There are no user accounts, no comment sections, and no purchases on this site. We run no analytics scripts and no advertising trackers. We keep what a web host needs to deliver pages and the email you choose to send us, and that is all.

What we collect

• Request records. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, handles every page request. Like every web host, it processes your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for, and the time, so it can deliver the page and block abusive traffic. Cloudflare keeps these records under its own retention rules. We see only totals, such as page views per day, never a profile of you.
• Email you send us. If you write to hello@nappedia.com, we keep your message and reply-to address so we can answer and keep a record of corrections. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell your contact details.

What we do not do

• No analytics scripts. No Google Analytics and no other script that tracks what you do on a page.
• No accounts, profiles, or comments. There is no sign-up, so there is no stored profile.
• No advertising technology. We run no ad networks, no cross-site tracking cookies, and no advertising profiles.
• No sensitive data. We do not ask for health, financial, or other sensitive information.

Affiliate links and third parties

Labeled paid links go through our affiliate network (currently Partnerize) and then to the seller. Clicking one tells the network and the seller that a click happened, and they may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. Every link to Saatva is an affiliate link and goes through the network the same way. Links to other brands and to independent sources are plain links, and we do not track them.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because the site runs no cross-site tracking, it works the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. There is nothing extra for the signal to switch off.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

California law gives residents the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. As of the review date above, Nappedia does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising: there are no analytics or advertising scripts and no accounts. To use a right or ask a question, email hello@nappedia.com. You will not be treated differently for using a privacy right; all research is free and the same for everyone.

Other rights

Depending on where you live, you may have similar rights. Send every privacy request to hello@nappedia.com. Because we hold so little personal data, checking it is you is usually as simple as replying from your own email address.

Changes

When this policy changes in a way that matters, the review date at the top changes and we describe what changed, as set out in our corrections process.
