The best mattress stores in and near Wilmington, North Carolina

Updated October 18, 2026 · 14 stores, each checked against its own website

The best mattress stores in and near Wilmington are Rooms To Go Central, Goodnight Sleep Store and Furniture Fair. We rank stores by how many mattress brands you can try in person, then by how many of their delivery, old-bed removal and return policies they post, counting one location per chain. We checked 14 stores within 12 miles of central Wilmington, and no store pays to be listed.

  1. Rooms To Go Central: 12 brands to try, including Tempur-Pedic, Stearns & Foster and Sealy. Central Wilmington, 1.6 mi, open Sunday; old-bed removal offered, publishes a return policy.
  2. Goodnight Sleep Store: 8 brands to try, including Tempur-Pedic, Stearns & Foster and Sealy. Central Wilmington, 1.7 mi; delivery and return terms not listed, so call to ask.
  3. Furniture Fair: 7 brands to try, including Tempur-Pedic, Sealy and Serta. Northeast Wilmington, 6 mi, open Sunday; old-bed removal offered, publishes a return policy.

A few minutes on a showroom bed will not tell you how it feels after a month at home. Pick a bed you trust from a store whose exchange and return policy you can live with: 7 of the 14 stores here post a policy that lets you return a bed, so read the fees and time limits before you buy.
