The best mattress stores in and near Grand Rapids, Michigan

Updated October 18, 2026 · 29 stores, each checked against its own website

The best mattress stores in and near Grand Rapids are Ashley Outlet Grandville, Mattress Firm Northeast and ABC Warehouse Walker. We rank stores by how many mattress brands you can try in person, then by how many of their delivery, old-bed removal and return policies they post, counting one location per chain. We checked 29 stores within 12 miles of central Grand Rapids, and no store pays to be listed.

  1. Ashley Outlet Grandville: 8 brands to try, including Tempur-Pedic, Purple and Sealy. Grandville, 7.9 mi, open Sunday; delivery and return terms not listed, so call to ask.
  2. Mattress Firm Northeast: 6 brands to try, including Tempur-Pedic, Sealy and Beautyrest. Northeast Grand Rapids, 4.3 mi, open Sunday; old-bed removal offered, publishes a return policy.
  3. ABC Warehouse Walker: 6 brands to try, including Tempur-Pedic, Sealy and Beautyrest. Walker, 4.5 mi; old-bed removal offered.

A few minutes on a showroom bed will not tell you how it feels after a month at home. Pick a bed you trust from a store whose exchange and return policy you can live with: 16 of the 29 stores here post a policy that lets you return a bed, so read the fees and time limits before you buy.
