Updated October 18, 2026 · 25 stores, each checked against its own website
The best mattress stores in and near Plainfield are Sandman Sleep, Naperville / Aurora, Mattress Firm Naperville and Ashley Outlet Romeoville. We rank stores by how many mattress brands you can try in person, then by how many of their delivery, old-bed removal and return policies they post, counting one location per chain. We checked 25 stores within 10 miles of central Plainfield, and no store pays to be listed.
A few minutes on a showroom bed will not tell you how it feels after a month at home. Pick a bed you trust from a store whose exchange and return policy you can live with: only 10 of the 25 stores here post a policy that lets you return a bed.
We rank stores by how many mattress brands you can try in person, then by how many of their delivery, old-bed removal and return policies they post, counting one location per chain. Ties after that go to the closer store, and stores cannot pay to be ranked.
Each pick comes from the facts below, not from payments. Tap one to jump to the store.
