The 30-Second Verdict: Quick Summary
Titan Mattress is the plus-size line from Arizona factory-direct maker Brooklyn Bedding. You can buy three heavy-duty hybrids online: the firm Plus Core, the plusher Plus Luxe and the dual-coil Plus Elite. All three are designed for about 1,000 lbs. The standouts are the limited lifetime warranty, the 120-night trial and queen prices from $1,399. If you're a lighter sleeper, you'll probably find even the Luxe too firm. If you're a bigger sleeper who wants edge support and a firm feel, it's worth a look.

Good to Know
Lightweight sleepers under roughly 130 to 150 lbs
Shoppers who want a deep memory foam hug or an all-foam bed
Buyers who want organic, latex or natural-material certifications
Shoppers who want white-glove delivery or in-home setup
Good fit: plus-size and heavier sleepers, since the entire line is engineered for bigger bodies (Sleep Foundation says sleepers over 230 lbs, and the brand rates capacity at about 1,000 lbs total); back and stomach sleepers wanting a truly firm, flat surface (Plus Core, scored firm 8 of 10 by Sleep Foundation); side and combination sleepers wanting contouring without sag (Plus Luxe and Plus Elite); hot sleepers (GlacioTex and GlacioTex+ cooling covers, gel-infused foam, breathable coil core); heavier couples and mixed-weight couples who need edge support and motion isolation; buyers who want US factory-direct construction, CertiPUR-US foams and GREENGUARD Gold certification; shoppers who value a 120-night trial and a limited lifetime warranty at mass-market prices.
Poor fit: lightweight sleepers under roughly 130-150 lbs, who will likely find even the Plus Luxe medium feel too firm per third-party testers; sleepers wanting a deep memory-foam hug or an all-foam bed (the whole line is hybrid coil); shoppers wanting organic, latex or natural-material certifications, which Titan does not claim; buyers who want to try a bed in a store outside Arizona or want white-glove delivery and in-home setup, since Titan sells direct and ships boxed; budget shoppers wanting a queen under $600; and shoppers who need an adjustable-friendly all-foam contour, though the hybrids work on adjustable bases.

Chapter 02
Comfort and firmness: which mattress fits you
Why this matters to you: Feel names are the brand's words, not measurements. Use them to shortlist two or three beds, then let your body decide.
Back sleepers: Plus Core is the designated pick (firm, flat surface, best for back and stomach sleepers per the brand, and rated highly for back sleepers over 230 lbs by Sleep Foundation); Plus Elite suits back sleepers wanting medium-firm support with zoned dual-coil contouring. Stomach sleepers: Plus Core is the firmest and the clear fit (the brand maps stomach sleepers to it); Plus Elite is the premium alternative.
Side sleepers: Plus Luxe is marketed specifically for side sleepers, with the deepest foam cushioning for hips and shoulders; Sleep Foundation says heavier side sleepers rated it excellent, and Mattress Clarity lists pressure relief as its weakest measured category at 3.3 of 5, so very pressure-sensitive side sleepers should compare rivals.
Combination sleepers: Plus Luxe (medium, responsive TitanFlex foam) and Plus Elite (micro-coil contouring plus support) are the recommended picks, since Plus Core contours very little.
Hot sleepers: all three use gel-infused foam and breathable coils, GlacioTex is an upgrade on Core and Luxe, and Plus Elite includes the GlacioTex+ cooling pillow top; NapLab gave Elite a perfect 10 for cooling, Sleep Foundation rated Core 8.5 of 10 and Luxe 7.5 of 10 for temperature control.
Heavier sleepers: the whole line is built for them, with Sleep Foundation directing plus-size shoppers to Titan and NapLab noting it among top options over 300 lbs; couples and mixed-weight pairs: Plus Luxe is the brand's recommended balance, with Plus Elite for dual-coil motion isolation; strict firmness-by-weight guidance beyond these points: Not published as of Sept 2026.

Which Titan feel fits you?
Weight chart not yet researched
Weight and sleep position can change how a bed feels. We have not yet checked whether Titan publishes a fit chart by body weight, so use a trial, where one is offered, to test the bed the way you sleep at home.
Neck: on your side, your nose should line up with the middle of your chest, not tip up or down.
Shoulders: your bottom shoulder should sink in. Tingling or a numb arm means the bed is too firm for you.
Lower back: on your back, slide a flat hand under your waist. A big gap means too firm; no room at all can mean too soft.
Hips: ask someone to look from the side. Hips lower than shoulders means the bed is too soft for you.
Figure 2.1: Four checks to run in a store, lying still in the position you sleep in most. The store test in chapter 11 says how long to lie on each bed.
Chapter 03
Compare the mattresses
Why this matters to you: Models from one brand can differ in feel, height and layers. Match the feel label and height to how you sleep before you compare prices.
Titan lists 3 models. Feel names are the brand's labels.
Titan Plus Core 12-in (entry, true firm; brand lists a 3.25-in foam stack: 1-in quilted knit top with gel foam, 2-in TitanFlex pressure-relief foam, plus a 0.25-in flex base over an 8-in TitanCore unit of up to 900 individually encased, roughly 13.5-gauge steel coils; brand-stated capacity about 1,000 lbs, marketing copy says the coil core holds over 1,200 lbs; Sleep Foundation scores it firm 8 of 10 and 8.9 of 10 overall, calling it a top pick for sleepers over 230 lbs; queen listed at $1,398.67 before promo, about $1,049 with the sitewide 25 percent code; optional GlacioTex cooling cover adds roughly $100-$233).
Titan Plus Luxe 13-in (best seller, medium feel; 1-in quilted top with gel foam, 2-in TitanFlex comfort foam, 1-in Supreme Response transition foam over the same 8-in TitanCore coil core, about 5 in of high-density foam and 5 layers total; brand states the plush model best serves side sleepers and mixed-weight couples; Sleep Foundation rates it medium firm 6 and 8.9 of 10 overall with 8.5 of 10 pressure relief, while Mattress Clarity scored it 6.5 of 10 medium-firm and 3.9 of 5 overall; queen listed at $1,665.33, about $1,249 with code; optional GlacioTex cover).
Titan Plus Elite 14-in (luxury flagship, medium-firm dual-coil; 2-in GlacioTex+ Cooling Cloud pillow top with cooling fibers, 1.25-in TitanFlex comfort foam, a 0.75-in micro-coil layer of up to 2,756 individually encased micro-coils, 1-in Variflex transition foam, an 8-in TitanCore coil core and 1-in high-density base foam, about 5.25 in of foam total; NapLab scored it 8.88 of 10 overall, its highest Titan score, with 10 of 10 cooling and pressure relief, and rated it medium-firm 6 of 10 while the brand blog calls it 7 of 10; cooling pillow top included, brand-stated support about 1,000 lbs; queen listed at $2,498.67, about $1,874 with code).
The line evolved from the original Titan Plus model (still cited by Sleep Foundation, NapLab and the brand blog at about 9 of 10 firmness and 11-11.25 in), and the current catalog covers RV sizes: RV Bunk 30x80 on the Plus Core, RV King 72x80 across the line and split California King pieces on the Plus Core and Plus Luxe.

Titan Plus Core: Twin $832, Twin XL $932, Full $1,132, Queen and Short Queen $1,398.67, King and California King $1,632, Split California King 36x84 $932 per piece (order two), RV Bunk 30x80 $1,032, RV King 72x80 $1,765; adding the GlacioTex cooling cover runs about $100-$233 depending on size.
Titan Plus Luxe: Twin $932, Twin XL $999, Full $1,299, Queen and Short Queen $1,665.33, King, California King and RV King $1,865, Split California King $999 per piece; GlacioTex cover adds about $100-$200. Titan Plus Elite: Twin $1,699, Twin XL $1,799, Full $2,099, Queen and Short Queen $2,498.67, King, California King and RV King $2,732, with the GlacioTex+ cooling pillow top included.
Promo math per the site: 25 percent off brings examples to Twin Core $624, Twin Luxe $699, Elite Twin $1,274.25, Queen Core about $1,049 and Queen Luxe about $1,249, which lines up with the $1,049 queen price NapLab cites and the $1,166 deal price Sleep Foundation lists for the Luxe.
Value verdict: the Plus Core undercuts most plus-size rivals at its promo price while carrying the same limited lifetime warranty and 120-night trial as premium models, and the site also notes a pricing-details disclaimer that strike-through reference prices are suggested retail prices, so shop the promo.
Financing: Affirm at checkout with 0 percent APR or 10-36 percent APR and terms up to 36 months (no late fees, example shown of $63.18 per month for 12 months on a $700 purchase at 15 percent APR); HSA/FSA eligible for qualified customers. Chapter 05
How well do the mattresses hold up?
Why this matters to you: A mattress is a long buy. Lean on the written warranty and real owner reports to judge how it will last.
Durability is the brand's core pitch. The brand states the Titan coil core can hold over 1,200 lbs while the mattress is rated to support about 1,000 lbs (NapLab describes the Elite rating as 500 lbs per side), and says a third-party lab ran the Titan Hybrid through 200,000 rollator rolls, double the industry norm, and calls the result unbreakable; the site also advertises high-density, sag-resistant foams and rollator testing.
Third-party performance: Sleep Foundation gave the Plus Core 8.5 of 10 for durability versus 7.5 of 10 for the Plus Luxe, and NapLab's overall scores are 8.62 for the original Titan Plus, 8.78 for the Plus Luxe and 8.88 for the Plus Elite, all in the upper portion of tested mattresses.
Long-term care: the brand says mattresses should be rotated every 6 to 8 months and never flipped, must sit on a solid foundation with slats no more than 5 in apart (wire or flexing box springs can void coverage), and the Elite weighs 80-150 lbs depending on size.
Independent ten-year owner reports and lab sag measurements after years of use: Not published as of Sept 2026, though on-site owner reviews include both reports of no sag after two years and complaints of edge caving within the first month.

Sleep trials, returns, exchanges and fees
Why this matters to you: Feel is hard to judge in a store or in a week. Know your exit plan and its cost before you pay.
Titan sells with a 120-night comfort trial that begins at delivery, with returns requiring at least 30 days of use first; there is a $99 return fee on all mattress returns (described as covering pickup), refunds are typically processed 3-4 business days after pickup, and the trial can be used only once per customer, with a second mattress not eligible for return.
Clearance items carry no returns or exchanges at all, and AK, HI and Canada shipping charges are non-refundable. Exchanges: contact support@brooklynbedding.com; the policy lets you either return first and reorder after refund or place a return and order a replacement immediately, and in-store buyers work with the store manager.
Foundations matter: the brand may request photos of your foundation, and returns can be refused if you used an improper, flexing foundation. Accessories (toppers, pillows, sheets, protectors, foundations) can be returned or exchanged within 30 days with a prepaid label, and adjustable bases are final sale and non-refundable.
Return shipping for accessories is free, though the policy notes Brooklyn Bedding does not provide packaging for accessory returns.

Delivery, setup and old-mattress removal
Why this matters to you: Delivery terms decide your first week with the bed. Confirm the date, setup and old-bed removal before you pay.
Free FedEx Ground shipping to the contiguous 48 states on every mattress, with product pages showing ships in 3-7 business days while the shipping policy states orders ship within 5-7 business days and mattress production can take 7-10 business days; delivery is bed-in-a-box to your door and setup is do-it-yourself, with the brand linking a decompression how-to and stating they deliberately do not offer white-glove delivery because they consider it an unnecessary add-on for compressed mattresses.
In-home setup: not offered. Old-mattress removal: no removal or haul-away program is published; what the brand does offer is disposal help on returns, since the return policy says that if you return a mattress within the trial the company will help dispose of it and that it tries to donate, recycle or repurpose all returned mattresses.
Surcharges: Hawaii and Alaska start at $125 per mattress, $45 for accessories and $125 for toppers, while Canada runs from $250 per mattress on the shipping page even though an FAQ elsewhere quotes $550 for a single mattress to Canada, so confirm at checkout; AK, HI and Canada shipping charges are non-refundable, and the brand does not ship to APO/FPO or PO Box addresses. Tracking numbers activate within 24-48 hours.
Typical wait: 7 to 10 business days

What do the warranties cover?
Why this matters to you: A warranty is only as good as its terms. Read the written terms and use a supported base, because the wrong frame can end coverage.
Mattresses purchased after 02/01/2025 carry a limited lifetime warranty under Brooklyn Bedding, LLC. Years 1-10 are non-prorated: Brooklyn Bedding repairs or replaces any defective mattress at no cost.
Years 11-15 the owner pays 50 percent of the then-current retail price for a replacement, years 16-20 it rises to 60 percent, and from year 21 through ownership it is 75 percent; replacements are the same model and size where possible and keep the original purchase date.
Covered defects include visible indentations over 1.5 in not caused by an improper foundation, foam or spring splits or cracks under normal use, and manufacturing defects in the cover assembly.
Exclusions and conditions: coverage is for the original purchaser only, is non-transferable, and applies in the US excluding territories and in Canada; removing the mattress cover voids claims; the mattress must sit on a structurally capable base with slats no more than 5 in apart, and improper foundations void coverage.
Products bought before 02/01/2025 fall under earlier terms, and the site also still hosts a 10-year warranty page; some FAQ copy around the Titan line still says 10 years, so buyers should confirm current terms at purchase. Claim steps: email warranty@brooklynbedding.com to open a claim.

Customer reviews and complaints
Why this matters to you: Star ratings depend on who posts and where. Read the low-star reviews for patterns, not just the average.
On-site review widget as of Sept 2026: the Titan Plus Core and Plus Luxe share a 4.5 out of 5 rating across 3,251 reviews, and the Titan Plus Elite shows 4.2 out of 5 across 435 reviews; an AI-generated site summary says owners praise quick delivery, firmness, sturdy build, support, back-pain relief and quality.
Common praise themes: fast FedEx delivery, a firm-but-not-brutal feel for heavier sleepers, minimal sag, strong support for 270-310 lb owners, and easy boxed setup.
Common complaints quoted on the site and in expert testing: edges caving or sagging when sitting or sleeping near the side (multiple 3-star reviews, including a new owner with nightly lower-back pain), the Plus Core being too firm for some and the brand then being unable to supply a matching topper in split sizes, the optional GlacioTex cooling cover running warm for one buyer despite the upgrade price, the paired bed frame feeling loose and shimmying, and one heavier reviewer finding the plush Luxe too soft for an average-weight partner; Mattress Clarity scored the Luxe 3.9 of 5 overall with low marks for edge support (3.2), pressure relief (3.3) and cooling (3.5) and calls edge support its main weakness, while NapLab flagged slow material response (6.3 of 10) and a strong initial odor that took about five days to dissipate.

What are the mattresses made of?
Why this matters to you: Layer names say little without numbers. Ask what is inside your exact model, layer by layer.
All three Titan mattresses are hybrids built in Brooklyn Bedding's Phoenix, Arizona factory with foreign and domestic components, and the brand states every mattress is GREENGUARD Gold Certified and uses CertiPUR-US certified foams (no ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, mercury, lead, heavy metals or formaldehyde); NapLab notes the Titan Plus Elite is fiberglass-free.
Titan Plus Core (12 in): knit quilted top with gel-infused foam, a TitanFlex foam layer with TitaniumGel infusion for cooling and pressure relief, an 8-in TitanCore unit of up to 900 individually encased steel coils with edge-to-edge support and motion isolation, and a thin flex base; optional GlacioTex cool-to-the-touch cover sewn in.
Titan Plus Luxe (13 in): quilted top knit with gel foam, 2-in TitanFlex comfort foam with TitaniumGel, 1-in Supreme Response transition foam tuned for deeper compression support, an 8-in TitanCore coil core of up to 900 coils, and a knit cover; optional GlacioTex cooling cover.
Titan Plus Elite (14 in): 2-in GlacioTex+ Cooling Cloud pillow top with cooling fibers, 1.25-in TitanFlex comfort foam, a 0.75-in layer of up to 2,756 individually encased micro-coils for zoned contouring, 1-in Variflex hyper-dense transition foam, an 8-in TitanCore coil core with zoned support, and 1-in high-density base foam, finished with hand-sewn detailing the brand says is completed by master craftsmen.
Foam densities and exact ILD or gauge specs beyond the 13.5-gauge coil figure cited in the brand blog and NapLab: Not published as of Sept 2026. No latex, organic cotton or natural-material claims are made for these models.

Where can you try and buy the mattresses?
Why this matters to you: Where you buy sets the price, the trial and who handles problems. Check the seller's terms, not just the brand's.
Buy direct online at titanmattress.com, the brand's own storefront, with phone support at +1 623-624-1222, live chat and email via the contact page; the same three Titan models are also listed on brooklynbedding.com at identical list prices, so the parent brand's site is a second official checkout.
Try in person: Titan has no dedicated showroom network, but its parent Brooklyn Bedding operates roughly 13 Arizona showrooms (Surprise, Phoenix Camelback 7th Ave, Tempe, Glendale Arrowhead, Phoenix Bell 12th Street, Tucson Broadway Pantano, Queen Creek, Goodyear Estrella Parkway, Oro Valley, Mesa Main, Scottsdale, Gilbert San Tan and the Glendale factory store, which is temporarily closed for renovations), with a Stockist locator on the Brooklyn Bedding site; the chain flags which shops carry the full Helix lineup and notes Titan-family products in its online catalog, so call ahead to confirm which Titan floor models are on display.
Third-party retail, Amazon or marketplace listings for Titan Plus mattresses: Not published as of Sept 2026. The return policy distinguishes online orders from store purchases and directs in-store buyers to the store manager, confirming some retail presence.

Chapter 12
Titan vs. other mattress brands
Why this matters to you: A fair comparison needs the same facts for both beds. Line up price, trial and warranty for each one.
Versus Big Fig: both are plus-size, heavy-duty hybrids and both are made by Brooklyn Bedding in the same Phoenix factory, with Big Fig queen prices ranging from $1,399 to $2,249 per NapLab and Titan generally undercutting on the firm entry model while matching on trial and lifetime-warranty headlines; NapLab notes Big Fig scores highly and competes on budget positioning, while Titan offers three distinct firmness-tuned models and Gen-Z-geared cooling options.
Versus Helix Plus and Helix Plus Elite: Mattress Clarity says the standard Helix Plus is better for couples and slightly cheaper, with stronger pressure relief and edge support than the Titan Plus Luxe even though Titan won on cooling, and NapLab recommends Helix Plus Elite for buyers wanting luxury performance above the Titan Elite.
Versus WinkBed Plus: Mattress Clarity found the WinkBed Plus firmer (7.5 of 10), bouncier and excellent for edge support but pricier and worse at motion isolation than the Titan Plus Luxe, and NapLab calls WinkBed Plus a higher-scoring value-plus pick at about $1,999. Versus Saatva HD: a luxury innerspring at firm 8 of 10 with excellent pressure relief and lumbar support plus a 365-night trial and in-room setup, but far more expensive than Titan.
Versus Leesa Plus Hybrid and Brooklyn Bedding Aurora Luxe: Sleep Foundation lists both as alternatives in its heavy-people roundup, with Aurora Luxe bringing three firmness options and CopperFlex cooling and Leesa undercutting on price, while Titan keeps the firmest picks and the deepest plus-size specialization.
Versus mainstream hybrids from Casper, Nectar, Purple and DreamCloud: Titan wins on tested weight capacity, firmness choice for heavy bodies and plus-size-specific edge and sag engineering; mainstream rivals win on in-store availability, softer contouring, bundle pricing and broader third-party review volume.
Awards cited on Titan's own site: Sleep Foundation named the Titan Plus Core a number-one pick for best extra-firm mattress for heavy people, Forbes put the Titan Plus Luxe at best mattress for heavy people overall in its 2026 roundup, and NapLab named the Titan Plus Elite best cooling mattress for heavy people in its 2026 list.

How we research and report
This page is an early draft built from our research sheet for Titan. We read the brand's own pages and public listings, and we do not test mattresses ourselves. Fields marked "Not yet researched" are still being checked.
Researched Sept 16, 2026, official sources first: titanmattress.com homepage, the three product pages (titan-plus-core, titan-elite, titan-luxe-hybrid) including FAQ text, layer graphics, on-site rating widgets and award badges, live per-variant pricing, and the policy and story pages (return policy, shipping policy, limited lifetime warranty policy, our-story, affirm financing, contact us, HSA/FSA); then the parent brand at brooklynbedding.com for its Titan listings and Arizona showroom locator; then third-party editorial: Sleep Foundation's best mattress for heavy people roundup and Titan Plus Luxe review, NapLab's Titan Plus Elite review (with its Plus and Plus Luxe score table), and Mattress Clarity's Titan Plus Luxe review.
Brand claims are labeled as brand-reported, expert scores are attributed,, and gaps (Trustpilot/BBB access, per-size firmness-by-weight charts, exact foam densities) are recorded rather than filled. No hands-on testing was performed.
