TMH Exclusive Mattress Review
TMH Exclusive is the house mattress line of The Mattress Hub, a Kansas chain founded in 2006 with about 12 stores. You'll find eleven mattresses that run roughly $169 to $949. They come in firm, medium, plush and ultra-plush feels. The range starts with the budget bed-in-a-box HUB Essential and climbs to pocketed-coil HUB Prime and the Effortless Pillowtop. Most carry 10-year warranties. There's no refund on mattresses, only one comfort exchange. We found no independent reviews, so treat the line as unproven if you rely on outside testing.

Which mattress suits your sleep needs?
The Mattress Hub tags each model by sleep position. Firm models, HUB Essential 7.5 in and HUB Select, suit back sleepers. Medium models, HUB Essential 8.5 in, HUB Choice and Effortless Pillowtop, suit stomach sleepers and back support. The Effortless Pillowtop is also tagged for side sleepers.
Plush models, HUB Plus 11.5 in, HUB Supreme and HUB Luxe, suit side and back sleepers. HUB Prime Plush suits back, side and stomach sleepers. HUB Prime Pillowtop is the ultra-plush pick for side sleepers. HUB Prime Ultra Firm is for back and stomach sleepers who want a firmer bed.
The store doesn't publish weight, couple, hot-sleeper or adjustable-base guidance. The line has no latex, organic, hybrid or cooling-specific models. The store's buying guide recommends medium-firm memory foam in general, but it doesn't apply that to specific TMH models.
Mattress prices and value
Online prices are 'from' prices only. HUB Essential 7.5 in starts at $169. HUB Select is $199 (was $399). HUB Essential 8.5 in starts at $299. HUB Choice is $299 (was $499). Effortless Pillowtop is $349 (was $849). HUB Plus 11.5 in starts at $399. HUB Supreme is $429 (was $629). HUB Luxe is $599 (was $799). The three HUB Prime models are $949 each (was $1,149). Queen and king prices don't show until you pick a size.
The value case is price against name brands in the same store. HUB Choice at $299 compares with Sealy Calhoun II Firm from $329 (was $529). HUB Prime at $949 compares with AmericanStar Presidential models at $1,699 to $1,899. Financing includes the Nationwide Marketing Group credit card by Wells Fargo, Affirm four interest-free payments, and Affirm and Snap no-credit-check options per the FAQ. Layaway needs 10 percent down, with no fixed payoff term.
We can't confirm value beyond the listed prices. The store doesn't publish foam densities, coil-gauge details or independent value testing (checked September 2026).
What are the mattresses made of?
Only the Effortless Pillowtop lists its full layers. You get a cooling stretch-knit cover, gel-infused comfort foam, high-density foams, Isotonic memory foam and base foam. It also has an 8-inch fabric-encased coil system. The store credits it with individualized support, less motion transfer and edge reinforcement.
Other models list only their support system. HUB Choice has a 6-inch 357/460 FE Verti-Coil. HUB Supreme has a 6-inch 567/696 pocketed spring. HUB Luxe has an 8-inch 630/770 5 Zoned FR PC pocketed coil. Every model is listed as a 'Traditional' innerspring mattress. Heights run from 7.5 inches (HUB Essential 7.5 in) to 11.5 inches (HUB Plus 11.5 in). HUB Prime image file names mention 13.5-inch and 14-inch builds, but the spec table gives no height. HUB Essential and HUB Plus are labeled 'Bed In Box'.
The brand doesn't publish foam densities, cover contents, coil gauge, CertiPUR-US or other certifications, fire-barrier details or country of origin (checked September 2026).
How well do the mattresses hold up?
Most model pages list a 10-year warranty. That covers HUB Select, HUB Choice, Effortless Pillowtop, HUB Luxe and the three HUB Prime models. HUB Essential 7.5 in, HUB Essential 8.5 in and HUB Plus 11.5 in don't state a length. The store FAQ says 'most mattresses maintain structural integrity for eight to ten years'. It says it shows only mattresses with well-backed warranties from leading makers.
The coil counts (357/460, 567/696, 630/770) suggest mid-range spring units for the price. The Effortless Pillowtop has the line's only named high-density and Isotonic foam layers. We found no independent durability tests, sag measurements or long-term owner reports for TMH Exclusive. You can judge durability only by warranty length and exchange terms. The store notes that 'warranties are provided by the manufacturer of the product, not The Mattress Hub'.
Customer reviews and complaints
The Mattress Hub's review page shows 4.9 out of 5 from 2,412 reviews on Google and Facebook. That's 2,312 five-star, 71 four-star, 7 three-star, 8 two-star and 17 one-star. Reviewers praise knowledgeable, non-pushy staff, honest budget advice and the value of delivery with old-mattress haul-away. Low-star counts show only as totals, with no text.
Individual TMH Exclusive product pages have no reviews. HUB Select, HUB Supreme and HUB Prime Ultra Firm each say 'There are no reviews yet'. We found no professional reviews or sleep-media testing as of September 2026.
Complaints about the store exist. A Yelp reviewer said a pushed Tempur-Pedic felt 'much too hard and yet felt lumpy' and warned 'there is NO refund'. A BBB Wichita search snippet showed 'Failure to respond to 1 complaint(s) filed against business', though the BBB page itself was unavailable. One review comment said an adjustable base 'did nothing' after about 60 days and couldn't be returned. GoodBed feedback was positive, and Angi rates the Shawnee, Kansas store 5 out of 5.
Where can you try and buy?
You can try and buy only through The Mattress Hub. It has 12 Kansas stores: four in Wichita, plus Derby, Hutchinson, McPherson, Salina, Topeka, Lawrence, Manhattan and Hays. The corporate office is in Wichita. You can also order online at mattresshub.com. The product pages say this line is 'made specifically for display in our The Mattress Hub chain of stores'.
In-store QR code pages exist for HUB 210 Medium (HUB Choice) and TMH Exclusive Hub 410 Extra Firm. Call 844.425.0379 or use live chat, Monday to Saturday 10am to 8pm and Sunday 12pm to 6pm. We found no other retailer, marketplace, rental or subscription service carrying the line, and no Amazon or national retailer listings as of September 2026.
Delivery, setup and removal
Delivery runs statewide through the store's own delivery service. Basic Delivery is a simple doorside drop-off. Premium Delivery is a 'full white glove setup including haul off of old mattresses for disposal or donation'. Old-mattress removal is tied to Premium. You can also pick up from the store or the area warehouse.
The terms say 'Delivery fees will apply'. Delayed, backordered or late-scheduled deliveries 'are not grounds for cancellation'. The brand doesn't publish a fee schedule, free-delivery threshold, delivery radius or setup-time estimate (checked September 2026). The only dollar figure is the $75 Premium Delivery charge on comfort-guarantee exchanges.
Sleep trial and returns
You can't return a mattress. The terms say 'All sales are final', and layaway deposits 'are non-refundable'. The store instead offers a One Year Comfort Guarantee, which is an exchange, not a refund. You must give the mattress at least 30 days. You get '100% exchange credit up to 100 days post-purchase'. From days 101 to 365, you get '50% credit towards the exchange'. The exchange happens once, only into a more suitable option. If the new mattress costs less, you get 'no additional credit or refund of the difference'.
The mattress must be like new, with 'no stains, odors, or damage'. A 'qualifying mattress protector is required'. 'Size changes aren't allowed'. Only the original buyer on the sales order is covered. The terms say 'The law tag must be attached to the item, or the warranty and/or comfort exchange is voided'. Premium Delivery is required on exchanges, at $75. The terms list no restocking fee for exchanges, but approved cancellations after processing 'will incur restocking fees'.
The guarantee excludes clearance sleep systems, adjustable bases and floor models. It also excludes special sizes such as Full XL and Split Cal King. Protectors, bed rails, promotional items, pillows and linens are out. So are warranty defects, damaged items and soiled products. 'There are no returns on Sleep Accessories.'
Warranty
These are manufacturer warranties. The store says 'warranties are provided by the manufacturer of the product, not The Mattress Hub'. It will 'gladly submit a warranty claim on your behalf' and help speed it up. Pages list 10 years for HUB Select, HUB Choice, Effortless Pillowtop, HUB Luxe and the three HUB Prime models. The HUB Essential and HUB Plus pages don't state a length.
Claims go through an online form and 'may take 4-6 weeks'. You still pay shipping and handling on approved replacements. You need at least one photo of the problem and can upload up to five. Body-impression claims need 'a straightedge and ruler to display the depth of impression'. Take photos with sheets, comforters and protectors removed, and show the law tag. Claims also need support and center-support details for your foundation or frame.
The store doesn't publish coverage wording, exclusions, impression thresholds or proration schedules. Restonic, Tempur-Pedic, Diamond, Malouf and Solstice/Jamison claims go directly to the manufacturer.
TMH Exclusive vs. other brands
TMH Exclusive is the store's own value line. It sits beside Tempur-Pedic, Beautyrest, Purple, Sealy, Stearns & Foster, Serta, Quilbed and AmericanStar, and it costs less than nearly all of them. HUB Choice starts at $299 sale, versus Sealy Calhoun II Firm from $329 and Sealy Deaton II from $429. The $949 HUB Prime trio sits below premium Sealy and Stearns & Foster tiers and below AmericanStar Presidential at $1,699 to $1,899.
Against those brands, you get traditional coil-and-foam beds with thinner profiles (7.5 to 11.5 inches). Coil counts are published, but foam densities aren't. There are fewer cooling or motion-isolation features. You won't find memory-foam or hybrid flagships, independent reviews or certifications. The line competes on in-store price, quick availability, 10-year warranties and local service, not on proven performance.
It also lacks the adjustable-firmness tech of Tempur-Pedic or Purple. It doesn't have the heritage of Sealy, Serta, Beautyrest or Stearns & Foster. And it doesn't offer the trial-and-return model of online brands. If you compare on published specs alone, you'll find less to go on.
How we put this review together
We read the brand's own product, policy and warranty pages, then checked retailer listings and public complaint sites like the Better Business Bureau. We last checked everything here in September 2026. Prices and policies change, so confirm them on the seller's page before you buy. You can read more in our methodology and editorial policy.
