The 30-second verdict
Yes, most buyers should consider it for side or back sleeping. Sleep Foundation testers found it comfortable for side sleeping regardless of weight. They also found it comfortable for back sleeping across weight groups. The catch is weaker stomach support for sleepers over 230 pounds; testers wanted sturdier support around their midsections.
For larger-body stomach sleepers, Helix Plus is a better fit. Sleep Foundation names this group among its best fits and scores it 9.0 overall. Its Queen list price is $1,598.75, versus the Titan® Plus Elite's $2,498.67 Queen list price. Buy it only if side or back sleeping is your priority and you accept the stomach-support trade-off.

How firm is the Titan® Plus Elite, and which firmness should you pick?
If a medium-firm feel is what you want, choose the Titan Plus Elite. Brooklyn Bedding labels its firmness option Medium-firm on the brand's firmness graphic. Mattress Clarity rated it 6.5/10, medium-firm, on its scale; Sleepopolis gave it 6.5/10, medium-firm, on its own firmness scale. Is the Titan® Plus Elite right for your sleep position and body weight?
The Titan Plus Elite is a reasonable choice for side and back sleepers, while stomach sleepers should weigh the support trade-off. NapLab marks side, back, and stomach fit yes for lighter sleepers. Sleep Foundation reports comfort for side and back sleeping across weight groups. In its heaviest group, it scored side fit 10.0 and back fit 8.0, but stomach fit 7.5. Its testers wanted more midsection support, making stomach sleeping the main concern for heavier buyers.
The mattress is designed to support up to 1,200 pounds, a ceiling to compare with the combined sleeper weight. Sleep Foundation rates edge support 8.5/10, a point to consider if you sit or sleep near the side.

Neck: lying on your side, ask if your pillow and the bed keep your head in line with your spine.
Shoulders: ask if the shoulder under you settles in, or if you feel a pinch after a few minutes.
Back: lying face up, slide a hand under your waist. A big gap or no room at all is a sign of a poor match.
Hips: ask if your hips dip lower than your shoulders, like lying in a shallow bowl.
Four checks: lie still for a few minutes in the position you sleep in most, then notice how each spot feels. These are comfort checks, not a medical test.Sources (3)
The Titan® Plus Elite has one encouraging report for back pain, but that does not promise relief. The brand says its dual-coil setup offers support in different areas and contouring comfort. Sleepopolis tester Nichole, who has back pain, reported pressure relief around her lower back and no pain or tension on the mattress. That is one tester’s experience, not a guarantee of how it will feel for you.

Outside testers found mixed results, so treat this as neutral to warm, not reliably cool. Brooklyn Bedding says its GlacioTex+ Cooling Cover wicks away heat, TitaniumGel™ in TitanFlex™ foam contributes to cooler sleep, and hybrid coils allow greater airflow than all-foam mattresses.
NapLab measured a maximum surface temperature of 88.8° F, 0.8° cooler than its 89.6° average. Sleepopolis saw the temperature rise 5 degrees after testers took turns lying on it, but said it should keep most sleepers cool. Mattress Clarity measured 72.1 F before resting on it and 82.9 F after five minutes. If you run hot, these mixed readings make it a less certain pick.

Your partner’s movement may be hard to feel, but not guaranteed to go unnoticed. NapLab measured a very low motion-transfer acceleration range of 7.23 m/s² and moderate total bounce height of 8.13″. Sleep Foundation’s reviewer rated motion isolation 8.5/10 but noted some surface bounce. Sleepopolis’ tester rated motion isolation 4.5/5 and could barely feel position changes. Mattress Clarity’s tester rated motion transfer 3.5/5, saw little water movement, and did not feel a coworker move across the bed. If you are a light sleeper, these reports suggest movement may be muted, while the reported bounce may still be noticeable.

The cover is fabric infused with cooling fibers. Brooklyn Bedding says the mattress uses CertiPUR-US certified foams; that certification covers flexible polyurethane foam only, not every material in the mattress. GREENGUARD Gold covers the mattress, according to Brooklyn Bedding. These marks cover different things: one applies to foam, while the other applies to the mattress.
Titan says a firm, solid-surface platform, a proper slatted frame, or a box spring can work if the base supports the mattress and sleepers. Titan says slats greater than 5 inches apart are improper and void the Limited Lifetime Warranty. Titan's product page offers an adjustable base as an upgrade. For that setup, the mattress must be continuously supported by a matching adjustable base and a proper frame that can support the combined weight.

How long will it last, and does it need flipping or rotating?
Mattress Clarity estimates seven to 10 years for the Titan Plus Elite, based on its reinforced coils and high-density foam. Brooklyn Bedding says to allow around 30 to 45 nights for the mattress to break in and your body to adjust, so give it time before judging its feel. Rotate it every 6 to 8 months, but do not flip or invert it. Set a reminder to follow that schedule as routine care.
Rotate or flip
Rotate every 6 to 8 months; do not flip or invert.
Titan says FedEx Ground shipping is free to the 48 contiguous states. Alaska and Hawaii cost $125 per mattress; Canada starts at $250 per mattress. Production may take between 7-10 business days, and orders ship within 5-7 business days, so plan around both times before choosing a setup date. You carry it in and set it up yourself: unpack it, remove the outer plastic, place it on your bed frame or foundation, and let it expand. Titan does not offer White Glove Delivery.

For sag, the warranty covers a visible indentation greater than 1.5 inches, provided it is not associated with an improper or unsupportive foundation or adjustable bed base. Check your support setup before filing a sag claim, since an indentation linked to one of those bases does not meet this stated threshold. For mattresses bought after 02/01/2025, years 1-10 are repaired or replaced at no cost, and after that a prorated charge applies.

Sleepiverse calls the Reddit discussions mixed and reports one heavier stomach sleeper's early softening; it separately says one linked comparison is from a tester, not an owner, and is product context only.
The Titan Plus Elite compares most usefully by sleep need: choose the Titan Plus Core for firm support as a plus-size sleeper, or the Titan Plus Luxe for upgraded comfort as a plus-size side sleeper.
Among other brands, the Helix Plus at Queen: $1,598.75 costs less than the Saatva HD at Queen: $3,639. Sleep Foundation scores the Helix Plus 9.0 and names larger-body side, back, and stomach sleepers as its best fit. Choose it if you sleep in one of those positions. The Saatva HD scores 9.2 and is listed for sleepers in larger bodies and hot sleepers, so it may fit better if you sleep hot.
