BedTech Mattress Review

BedTech was founded in 2009 in Vancouver, Washington by Brandon and Darren Sparks of the Sparks bedding family. It's a family-run value brand selling cooling memory foam and hybrid mattresses online. The lineup spans budget Pur Chill, Cascade, Shasta and Tahoe models up to premium copper-infused Copper Lux beds. All use CertiPUR-US foams, with a 100-night trial and a 10-year limited warranty. You'll find budget-friendly prices, but you won't find a published firmness scale.

Checked September 2026 against the brand's own pages and public listings. We haven't sleep-tested these mattresses, so treat this as a buyer's summary of what the brand publishes.

Side sleepers who want pressure relief can look at Cascade Hybrid 13in Plush or Pur Chill 12in Plush, with contouring memory and gel foams. Budget shoppers can look at Shasta Hybrid 8in, Tahoe Hybrid 12in, or Pur Chill 8 or 10in.

For split-head and split-king needs, Copper Lux Hybrid and Gel Max list split-top and split sizes. Confirm the current size grid before you order. The brand doesn't publish guidance by model for back or stomach sleepers or plus-size sleepers (checked September 2026). So use the 100-night trial and ask support first.

What are the mattresses made of?

Cascade, Pur Chill and Copper Lux Hybrid have phase-change or chill-focused top fabric. Cascade has 2 inches of contouring memory foam plus 4 inches of HD comfort foam and padding. Copper Lux Hybrid has 3 inches of copper-infused memory foam plus a 1-inch soft comfort layer. Pur Chill has gel-infused upper and middle foams. The brand describes all of these comfort layers as CertiPUR-US certified.

Cascade's core is 8 inches of pocketed coils (1.9mm interior, two rows of 2.1mm side support). Copper Lux 12in Hybrid has 6 inches of steel pocketed coils over a 2-inch HD base. The coils are 13-gauge with a 12-gauge perimeter for edge support (713 queen, 899 king). Pur Chill uses dense base foam. Cascade is 13 inches (Queen 120 lbs). Copper Lux 12in Hybrid is Queen 105 lbs. The brand doesn't publish full coil gauges, densities, ILDs or latex content (checked September 2026).

How well do the mattresses hold up?

The brand doesn't publish expected lifespan, sag or reliability data, or third-party durability testing for BedTech models (checked September 2026). There are indirect signals. Product pages show a 10-year limited mattress warranty. The comfort layers are CertiPUR-US certified. Coil perimeters are reinforced (Cascade 2.1mm edge rows, Copper Lux Hybrid 12-gauge perimeter).

The maker advises using a protector to keep trial and warranty coverage. Treat longevity as unverified. Lean on the trial and warranty terms.

Customer reviews and complaints

The official pages we saw don't publish star ratings, review counts or complaint histories (checked September 2026). Product pages link to a separate Reviews page, but it showed no review text. We couldn't get Trustpilot or BBB pages. So we can't report praise themes or defect patterns.

The brand emphasizes loyalty, fairness and trust, and says it has served millions nationally. Recheck durability and service feedback from live review sources before you buy.

Where can you try and buy?

You can buy direct at bedtech.com, which has the full lineup, promos and the 100-night direct trial. You can also buy BedTech listings on Amazon. Search showed Pur Chill, CS Hybrid 13, Gel Comfort and Copper Lux. Those orders follow the seller's return rules.

The brand doesn't publish physical showrooms, a try-before-you-buy store network, warehouse addresses or a dealer list (checked September 2026). The site shows Our Company, Meet Our Founders, Why BedTech and Warehouse Locations links, but we found no addresses.

Delivery, setup and removal

Direct orders get fast free shipping. Most products ship within 2 to 3 days, and Cascade, Copper Lux Hybrid, Gel Max and Pur Chill pages show an in-stock flag. Delivery is compressed and boxed. Unpack the mattress and allow about 24 hours to expand. You don't need a box spring. It works on a flat platform, metal base or power base. The brand states all its mattresses work with power bases.

The brand doesn't publish white-glove delivery, setup service or old-mattress removal terms (checked September 2026).

Sleep trial and returns

Direct bedtech.com mattress orders include a 100-night risk-free sleep trial. The brand suggests at least 30 nights to adjust. Within 100 nights of delivery, you can have one exchange or one return. Start by emailing support@bedtech.com. The trial excludes kids-pedic, clearance, pre-owned and floor models. It also excludes pillows, protectors, adjustable bases, furniture and accessories.

Power bases and foundations are final sale. They're non-returnable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable. Unopened new accessories can be returned only within 30 days of delivery. You pay return shipping, and damage claims are due within 48 hours with proof. Orders from other retailers follow that seller's rules. The brand doesn't publish trial return shipping fees or refund timing (checked September 2026).

Warranty

Product pages for Cascade, Copper Lux Hybrid and Gel Max show a 10-Year Limited Warranty. Pur Chill 12 shows a 10-Year Non-Prorated Warranty. The homepage banner advertises a 20-Year Warranty with 2 years full coverage. So the exact mattress term varies by page as of September 2026. The maker advises using a protector to keep trial and warranty coverage intact. The brand doesn't publish covered sag depth, stain and damage exclusions or the claim steps for mattresses.

BedTech power bases carry a separate 20-year limited warranty. Years 1 to 2 are full coverage on defects. Electronics are 50% prorated in years 3 to 15, and the steel frame is covered in years 3 to 20. It's non-transferable. You file claims through an online form or warranty@bedtech.com, or by mail to 25 S 51st Ave, Phoenix AZ 85043. Confirm your model's warranty card before you buy.

BedTech vs. other brands

BedTech positions itself as a family-run US value alternative to big boxed cooling memory foam brands. It was an early boxed-bed mover, aiming at luxury-grade memory foam at reachable prices. It leans on copper, gel and phase-change cooling stories and aggressive promos. Those include 60% off Pur Chill and a free base with Copper Lux. You won't find published firmness scales or boutique materials.

The brand doesn't publish head-to-head comfort, cooling, motion-isolation or edge-support test results against named competitors (checked September 2026). Compare it against budget hybrids on price and the 100-night direct trial. Compare it against premium copper hybrids on specs you can verify, such as coil counts, gauges and foam inches, rather than marketing claims.
