The best mattress stores in and near Mount Prospect, Illinois

Updated October 18, 2026 · 26 stores, each checked against its own website

The best mattress stores in and near Mount Prospect are Sandman Sleep, Northbrook, BEDS IN A BOX and Arlington Heights Mattress Showroom. We rank stores by how many mattress brands you can try in person, then by how many of their delivery, old-bed removal and return policies they post, counting one location per chain. We checked 26 stores within 8 miles of central Mount Prospect, and no store pays to be listed.

  1. Sandman Sleep, Northbrook: 16 brands to try, including Tempur-Pedic, Helix and WinkBeds. Northbrook, 6.6 mi, open Sunday; delivery and return terms not listed, so call to ask.
  2. BEDS IN A BOX: 12 brands to try, including Serta, Helix and WinkBeds. Palatine, 7.1 mi, open Sunday; publishes a return policy.
  3. Arlington Heights Mattress Showroom: 7 brands to try, including Tempur-Pedic, Purple and Sealy. Arlington Heights, 3.5 mi, open Sunday; old-bed removal offered, publishes a return policy.

A few minutes on a showroom bed will not tell you how it feels after a month at home. Pick a bed you trust from a store whose exchange and return policy you can live with: 15 of the 26 stores here post a policy that lets you return a bed, so read the fees and time limits before you buy.
