The best mattress stores in and near Evanston, Illinois

Updated October 18, 2026 · 25 stores, each checked against its own website

The best mattress stores in and near Evanston are SleePare Mattress Store Chicago, Twinkle Twinkle Little One and Ashley Niles. We rank stores by how many mattress brands you can try in person, then by how many of their delivery, old-bed removal and return policies they post, counting one location per chain. We checked 25 stores within 8 miles of central Evanston, and no store pays to be listed.

  1. SleePare Mattress Store Chicago: 10 brands to try, including Helix, WinkBeds and Nectar. Chicago, 7 mi, open Sunday; old-bed removal offered, publishes a return policy.
  2. Twinkle Twinkle Little One: 7 brands to try, including Babyletto, Delta Children and Moonlight Slumber. Chicago, 7.4 mi, open Sunday; no returns.
  3. Ashley Niles: 7 brands to try, including Tempur-Pedic, Stearns & Foster and Sealy. Niles, 7.1 mi, open Sunday; delivery and return terms not listed, so call to ask.

A few minutes on a showroom bed will not tell you how it feels after a month at home. Pick a bed you trust from a store whose exchange and return policy you can live with: only 10 of the 25 stores here post a policy that lets you return a bed.
