Buy the Saatva Latex Hybrid if you sleep hot, mostly sleep on your back, and want a springy top with natural materials. Its single Medium Firm feel keeps the choice simple, and Saatva's 365-night trial gives you time to see if the bounce works at home. Skip it if you want a deep memory foam hug or need strong motion control; the same bounce can carry a partner's movement.
Best forHot sleepers and back sleepers who want natural materials and a springy, cool top
Not ideal forAnyone who wants slow memory foam sink
Saatva Latex Hybrid
Pros
Cooling layers. The latex, wool and coil build lets air move and feels less like a foam hug.
Natural materials. It pairs natural Talalay latex and organic wool with an organic cotton cover.
Long trial. You have 365 nights at home, with a $99 fee if you return it.
Cons
One feel. You cannot choose a softer or firmer version of this model.
Partner motion. Sleep Foundation warns that its bounce may pass more movement than a foam bed.
Heavy Queen. A Queen weighs 120 pounds, which can make it hard to move alone.
How firm is the Saatva Latex Hybrid, and which firmness should you pick?
The Saatva Latex Hybrid comes in one feel: Medium Firm. The brand does not offer a softer or firmer choice for this model. Sleep Foundation also measured it at 6 out of 10, while NapLab lists it as medium-firm. That is a middle feel with some pushback from the latex and coils, rather than a deep sink. Back and stomach sleepers who like a level surface may find it more comfortable than side sleepers who need extra cushion at the shoulders and hips. If you are unsure, try it at home during the trial.
Is the Saatva Latex Hybrid right for your sleep position and body weight?
It suits back and stomach sleepers best, while side sleepers who need more cushion may find it too firm. The brand calls the feel Medium Firm and does not offer a softer or firmer option. Side sleepers around 130 to 230 pounds may fit, while lighter sleepers may want more give. Saatva lists a limit of 300 pounds per sleeper. Outside reviewers found good edge support, which can help people who sit or sleep near the edge.
It may suit some people with back pain, but the available facts show comfort ratings, not pain relief. Saatva says the zoned latex top adds support under the lower back. NapLab gave its pressure relief 9.0 out of 10, and the coil base is meant to keep the surface responsive. These points may matter if you want a bed that does not let your hips sink deeply. They do not show that it treats back pain. The sources include no clinical pain test.
It is designed to sleep cool. Saatva says air can pass through the latex and coils, while the wool layer helps manage heat. In outside reviews, NapLab rated cooling 9.0 out of 10 and Sleep Foundation rated temperature control 8.5 out of 10. Those are reviewer scores, not a guarantee that every sleeper will stay cool. Its springy latex feel may suit a hot sleeper who dislikes memory foam's close hug.
You may feel a restless partner move because the Latex Hybrid has a springy top over coils. The two tests disagree: NapLab gave motion isolation 10 out of 10, while Sleep Foundation gave it 6 out of 10. Sleep Foundation warned that the bounce can pass movement. The scores leave no clear answer. If you wake easily, use the lower Sleep Foundation score as a safe guide. Couples who move less may like the bed's buoyant feel. Light sleepers may want a less bouncy model.
It is 12 inches tall and comes in Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King, California King and Split King. On October 7, Saatva listed a regular Queen price of $2,759 and a sale price of $2,346. Its live price can change, so check the product page before ordering. This is a premium-priced bed, with natural latex, wool and White Glove delivery in the package. It has one height and one firmness, so buyers mainly choose a size and decide whether the feel suits them.
You can order the Latex Hybrid on Saatva's site. Saatva lists 35 Viewing Rooms where shoppers can try its beds, based on the directory check dated September 25, 2026. Ask a local room whether this model is on display before visiting. Saatva does not name another approved store for this model.

The build starts with an organic cotton cover, then organic New Zealand wool, 3 inches of natural Talalay latex, and 884 wrapped coils above a cotton and wool base. Saatva lists the latex type and coil count on its product page. It is 12 inches tall, and a Queen weighs 120 pounds. Standard deep-pocket sheets should fit the height. Saatva lists several sizes, but per-size measurements are not shown. The coils add a buoyant feel and can move more than foam.
The Latex Hybrid has an organic cotton cover, organic wool and natural Talalay latex. Saatva's product page shows GOLS, eco-INSTITUT and GREENGUARD Gold marks. Saatva says it washes the latex to remove allergy proteins. It also says natural latex does not give off VOCs. NapLab rated off-gassing 10 out of 10. These marks and claims do not mean that no one will smell or react to the bed.
According to Saatva, the Latex Hybrid does not use fiberglass. The brand lists organic New Zealand wool as this model's fire barrier. That answers the material question, but Saatva advises checking the sewn law tag on the bed you receive to confirm its contents. Saatva does not list a fiberglass sock in this model.
The Latex Hybrid works with a foundation, box spring, bunkie board or a platform bed. Saatva also says the mattress can go on an adjustable base or a Murphy bed. For a platform, the slats should be at least 3 inches wide, less than 4 inches apart, and supported at the center. Saatva says you can reuse a base bought in the last 7 years if it is in good shape and has sturdy center support. Since a weak base can affect warranty coverage, check the bed frame before delivery.
How long will it last, and does it need flipping or rotating?
Saatva does not list a service life for this exact model. It says the Latex Hybrid does not need rotation and should not be flipped. Latex may soften during the first weeks. Body impressions deeper than 1.5 inches meet the brand's warranty threshold. The warranty rule tells you what sag may be covered, but it does not predict how long the mattress will last.
The Latex Hybrid is delivered flat with free White Glove setup in the room you choose. Saatva says made-to-order mattresses usually take 9 to 21 days. You can request free removal of the old mattress and foundation when you check out. An adult should be home for delivery, and you should have the base ready before the crew arrives.

You get 365 nights from delivery to try the Latex Hybrid at home. If you return it, Saatva arranges pickup and takes $99 from the refund; an exchange also costs $99. The brand's trial page says you can ask for a return without waiting a minimum period. Check the mattress condition and the trial terms before ordering, since a long trial does not mean a free return.

The Latex Hybrid uses Saatva's lifetime warranty for the first owner. A covered problem gets a free replacement in the first two years; from year three, Saatva repairs and re-covers it for a $149 processing fee. Saatva covers body impressions deeper than 1.5 inches. Use a proper base. For a Queen or larger, it needs center support. Platform slats must be less than 4 inches apart. Weak support may affect a claim. Read the base rules before setup.
The Avocado Green is a close rival among natural latex hybrids. NapLab lists a lower Queen price and a shorter trial for Avocado. Saatva offers free in-room setup and a 365-night trial. The Zenhaven is another Saatva bed. It uses all latex and has two firmness sides. Pick it if you want to flip the bed to change its feel. Choose the Latex Hybrid for wrapped coils under latex and one Medium Firm feel.
