What do the brands say about fire barriers, fiberglass and certifications?
Why this matters to you: Every mattress sold in the U.S. must pass a federal open-flame test. Some brands pass it with a barrier made with glass fiber, which can get out if the cover is removed. Know what's inside before it's in your bedroom.
Both brands name a natural fire barrier. Saatva says in writing that it never uses fiberglass; WinkBeds names the EcoCloud barrier but doesn't address fiberglass for this model by name.

The trade-off: WinkBeds replaces the bed for free, but only once per mattress, ever. Saatva replaces it free in years 1 and 2, then charges a $149 fee for each repair and states no limit on repairs.
Both brands cover a dip deeper than 1.5 in, so measure it the same way for either bed.
