The 30-second verdict
Signature Hybrid suits shoppers who want three firmness choices in a hybrid, with foam over coils wrapped one by one. It can work for side, back, stomach and combination sleepers when they choose the right feel, but people who need a fast return should skip it. The catch is the 30-night wait before a return can start.
Best forShoppers who want a hybrid with three firmness choices
Not ideal forBuyers who need free returns or an immediate return option
Signature Hybrid
- Three firmness choices. Soft, Medium and Firm let you choose the feel that suits your sleep position.
- Queen price snapshot. The product page showed a $1,098.75 Queen sale price beside a $1,465 suggested retail price.
- Fiberglass statement. Brooklyn Bedding says its mattresses are fiberglass free.
- Pillow top option. The optional Cloud Cooling Pillow Top adds a taller build.
- Return fee. The policy allows a return after night 30 with no return fee.
- No in-room setup. The bed ships in a box without in-home setup.
- Mixed cooling scores. Sleep Foundation and NapLab give different cooling scores for their tested builds.
- Tall pillow top. The 14-inch version may need deeper sheets than your current set.
Signature Hybrid comes in Soft, Medium and Firm. NapLab rated the Medium feel 6.5 out of 10, a little firmer than its middle label may sound. That is one outside test of the Medium feel. Soft may suit side sleepers who need more give; Medium may suit combo sleepers; Firm may suit back or stomach sleepers. These are starting points, not a guarantee for every body. If you are between feels, check the brand's firmness guide before ordering.

Choose a feel based on how you sleep: Soft for side sleepers, Medium for combo sleepers, and Firm for back or stomach sleepers. Sleep Foundation used three weight groups: under 130 pounds, 130 to 230 pounds, and over 230 pounds. These groups describe its testers. They do not promise a fit. Brooklyn Bedding says each mattress can support up to 950 pounds. It points people over 300 pounds to Titan Plus, a separate line. This is the maker's limit, not a tested limit for one sleeper. No outside source gave an edge-support score. If you sit or sleep near the edge, use the trial to test it at home.

Signature Hybrid has positive back-support claims, but it is not a treatment for back pain. NapLab rated pressure relief 9 out of 10, and the product page shows an AARP 2026 Best Value Mattress for Back Pain mention. Those points do not prove it will ease your pain. Medium or Firm may feel more supportive for back sleepers, while Soft may feel too low for heavier back sleepers. Pick the feel that keeps your hips comfortable, and use the return window if the bed does not suit you.

Sleep Foundation gave the Signature Hybrid 7.5 out of 10 for temperature control. Its review does not say which feel it tested. NapLab used a different test setup. Do not compare the two reports as one test. The bed has a cool-to-touch GlacioTex cover, foam, and coils for airflow. The optional Cloud Cooling Pillow Top adds ThermoPhase foam. If you sleep hot, check which cover and top you will get.

Sleep Foundation gave it 7.5 out of 10 for motion isolation. It did not name the feel it tested. NapLab gave the Medium with pillow top a 10 out of 10 motion-transfer score. These tests used different methods. Do not compare the scores as one scale. Foam sits over coils wrapped one by one. This design aims to limit movement. If small moves wake you, try it at home. You must wait before starting a return.

Signature Hybrid is a hybrid mattress with foam over pocketed coils, or springs wrapped one by one. The product page lists an 8-inch Ascension X coil unit with up to 760 encased coils, then a foam base. The standard bed stands 13.25 inches tall. The optional Cloud Cooling Pillow Top makes it 14 inches. A Queen is 60 by 80 inches. The pillow-top build may need deeper sheets, so check your fitted sheet's depth before ordering.

The build uses foam comfort layers, coils, and a GlacioTex fabric cover. Brooklyn Bedding lists its foams as CertiPUR-US certified and the mattress as GREENGUARD Gold certified. These are maker-listed claims. NapLab reported that a new-mattress smell lasted 3 days in its test. Let the room air if the smell bothers you, and check the current product page for any updated material details.

Brooklyn Bedding says the Signature Hybrid is fiberglass free. It says its beds use a hydrated silica fiber sock as the fire barrier. This is the brand's claim, not an outside safety finding. NapLab's law-tag notes for this model list no fiberglass. Check the law tag on your mattress. Do this if its label differs from the product page or the model has changed.

Use a firm, even base that holds the whole mattress. Brooklyn Bedding says slats must be no more than 5 inches apart. It also lists a firm box base or a solid platform. The brand says Signature Hybrid works with an adjustable base. Check its product FAQ before setup. Do this if your frame has wide gaps or bends.

Sleep Foundation says this mattress may last 6 to 7 years. Its review does not name the version it tested. This is an estimate, not a promise. Turn the bed 180 degrees every 6 to 8 months. Do not flip it. Brooklyn Bedding says only Plank models are made to flip. So treat Signature Hybrid as a one-sided bed. Follow the care guide, since designs can change.

Signature Hybrid ships in a box by free FedEx Ground within the 48 contiguous states. Its product page says 5 to 8 business days. The Shipping Policy says orders ship within 5 to 7 business days and also says production may take 7 to 10 days. The brand does not offer in-home setup for this model. Plan to carry and open it yourself, and check the shipping page for current terms before ordering.

The Signature Hybrid has a 365-night trial from delivery. You can start a return after night 30. Brooklyn Bedding charges no return fee. Pickup and removal are free. The policy allows one trial per customer. Read the full policy before you buy. This matters if you may want another feel or buy a clearance bed.

The Limited Lifetime Warranty covers Signature Hybrid buys made after February 1, 2025. The policy says years 1 through 10 have no charge. Later claims are prorated. If a claim is approved, you must send back the mattress. The policy does not say who pays freight. A claim needs a visible dip deeper than 1.5 inches. It also does not list every reason that could void the warranty. Read the full terms before you buy, and keep your proof of purchase.

Brooklyn Bedding's page showed 4.67 out of 5 from 11,805 reviews on September 26, 2026. The brand says this count includes older versions. So it does not show the current build's rating alone. Owners praise the feel choices, comfort, cooling, and value. Some report softening or a new-bed smell. These are examples, not a count of all owner views.

You can also compare Aurora Luxe Cooling, another Brooklyn Bedding bed. As of October 7, 2026, the Signature Hybrid Queen listed at $1,465, with a $1,098.75 sale price. Brooklyn Bedding calls Aurora Luxe Cooling its cooling model above Signature. Signature has three firmness choices and an optional cooling pillow top. Check current prices and features before you pay more. Prices can change.

We checked Brooklyn Bedding's product and policy pages from September 26 to October 7, 2026. We also read reviews by NapLab and Sleep Foundation, plus owner ratings on the brand's page. We did not test this mattress in person.
We could not find enough good evidence to answer these questions yet, so this page leaves them out: Changes Since Launch.
