Pure Talalay Bliss Mattress Review
Pure Talalay Bliss was Talalay Global's all-Talalay latex mattress brand. Latex International in Shelton, CT makes the material. Eclipse International licensees built and sold the beds from 2017 to 2018. Five beds ran 8 to 13 inches tall at about $2,199 to $6,699. You got a 15-year non-prorated warranty, but no published sleep trial. Talalay Global's 2019 Chapter 11 ended the line. The brand's site, talalaybliss.com, is a parked GoDaddy page as of September 2026. You'll mostly find leftover dealer stock today.

Which mattress suits your sleep needs?
Match the plushness number to how you sleep. Pamper (firm, 2 of 10) suits stomach sleepers and back sleepers who want a flat, firm Talalay surface. Heavy sleepers who want the least sink may like it too. You can add a removable Custom Fit topper for a softer feel. Nature (4 of 10) suits back and combination sleepers who want support with a little cushioning. It also works for couples who want a firm-but-not-boards-firm all-latex bed.
Nutrition (6 of 10) is the middle of the range. It's best for back and side sleepers who want pressure relief without a deep sink. It also suits people who found pure firm latex too hard. Beautiful (8 of 10) suits side sleepers, shoulder and hip pain sufferers, and plush lovers who still want latex push-back rather than memory-foam sink. World's Best Bed (10 of 10) is the plushest option for strict side sleepers. It comes only in Twin XL and larger.
Across the line, latex suits hot sleepers. The brand claims Talalay breathes up to 7 times better than other latex or foam. The parent company's 2026 third-party testing claims about twice the airflow of Dunlop and up to five times that of polyfoam or memory foam. Latex also suits allergy-sensitive sleepers and couples wanting motion isolation without coils. Talalay is fast-responding, so it's a poor match if you want the slow, contouring sink of memory foam. The brand also warns that people with a diagnosed latex allergy should weigh the covered-latex construction before buying.
Mattress prices and value
These are the brand's list prices from January 2021, mattress only, taken from an archived copy of the brand's site. Pamper is $2,199 Twin, $2,299 Twin XL, $3,099 Full, $3,399 Queen, $4,399 King and $4,399 Cal King. Nature is $2,699, $2,899, $3,499, $3,899, $4,899 and $4,899 in the same order. Nutrition is $3,099, $3,199, $3,999, $4,199, $5,299 and $5,299. Beautiful is $3,399, $3,499, $4,399, $4,699, $5,799 and $5,799. World's Best Bed has no Twin or Full. It's Twin XL $3,899, Queen $5,199, King $6,699 and Cal King $6,699.
That's a $2,199 to $6,699 band. Each size step adds $100 to $400. The flagship costs $1,000 to $1,300 more than the firmest bed. The brand doesn't publish current prices (checked September 2026). The site is parked, and the remaining dealer page shows no pricing. A September 2026 check of that dealer found Pure Talalay Bliss quote-only. Dealer markdowns, floor-model discounts and financing varied by dealer, and the brand doesn't publish them.
You'd be paying for an unusually pure all-latex build with no coils, polyurethane foam or fiber quilting. It's US-made Talalay from the only Talalay producer in North America. It has Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class I certification and a 15-year non-prorated warranty. It undercuts the later Eclipse successor, Natural Dreams Pure Talalay, which was announced at $1,999 to $7,999 retail. The catch is no trial, no return window and no live brand behind the warranty. Compare it with currently supported all-latex beds from SleepEZ, Sleep on Latex, Avocado, PlushBeds or European Sleep Works. Several publish specs, trials and returns.
What are the mattresses made of?
All five mattresses use Talalay latex only. Each has a 6 in Talalay support core plus Talalay comfort layers. No model has coils, memory foam, polyurethane foam or fiber quilting above the latex. The top layer is ActiveFusion Talalay, a phase-change latex. The brand says it keeps a warmer sleeper slightly cooler and a cooler sleeper slightly warmer by moving heat to or away from the body. World's Best Bed instead uses a 4 in carbon-infused Talalay top layer. The brand says carbon acts as a purifier to keep the mattress fresh.
Layers are bonded with water-based adhesives. The brand's archived FAQ claims a Pure Talalay Bliss bed uses 6 non-toxic chemicals plus 3 natural materials (fats, hevea brasiliensis milk and water). It compares that with 48 toxic chemicals it attributes to solvent-based mattress adhesives. The cover is a washable, removable Luxury Wave of Comfort fabric in a 450 to 480 gram weight. The brand calls that the heaviest gram weight used across a full line in the industry. It's 20 to 45 percent viscose (itself about 50 percent natural), 1 to 2 percent spandex and 52 to 56 percent rayon. There are three layers of fabric plus a fire-retardant layer between you and the latex.
Talalay Global makes all the Talalay in Shelton, CT. Both the latex and the fabrics are certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class I, the baby-safe class. A five-stage fresh water rinse washes out latex proteins. The parent company describes its formulations as Talalay Classic (a natural and synthetic blend) and a 100% natural, FSC-certified option. The brand says to judge a real Talalay bed by its law label, because many mattresses sold as latex contain less than 25 percent latex. We found no independent chemical analysis of a Pure Talalay Bliss mattress.
How well do the mattresses hold up?
Durability is the brand's central claim. Every mattress has a 15-year non-prorated warranty with a 1 inch indentation limit. The brand calls Talalay three times more resilient than Dunlop latex. It says Talalay's round cell structure doesn't break down under compression the way Dunlop's snowflake structure does. The warranty page says Stork Testing in Minneapolis, the largest mattress testing lab, ran roller and Cornell tests. The brand says results were consistently significantly better than industry standards for coil and non-coil mattresses. The page also claims stories of Talalay mattresses lasting 20 and 30 years. Toppers carry their own 15-year guarantee against more than a 1 inch impression.
Independent evidence is thin. We found no lab data, take-apart inspection or long-term owner study for this brand. The parent company's most recent third-party testing we could find (August 2026) covers airflow, not sag. The brand's FAQ says to replace the old foundation when you buy a new mattress. It recommends an Ironwood Bedframes foundation. It warns you never to fold a mattress side to side and never to store it compressed or rolled.
The brand has been dormant since 2019 to 2020, and the parent is now business-to-business only. Long-term support depends on the retailer and on Talalay Global staying in business. The company is investing in a second US factory in North Carolina, slated to open by the end of Q1 2027. That helps the material supply chain even though the mattress brand itself is inactive.
Customer reviews and complaints
The brand doesn't have reviews at brand level (checked September 2026). We found no Pure Talalay Bliss page or rating on GoodBed. We found no review page on Sleep Like The Dead, which covers direct-to-consumer names only. SiteJabber had no results. We found no Trustpilot or BBB brand profile. Mattress Clarity, Sleepopolis, NapLab and The Sleep Judge don't cover the line. The archived official site had no customer reviews, testimonials or star ratings. Its only quality claims were its own: Oeko-Tex Class I, the 15-year warranty, Stork Testing results and 20-to-30-year anecdotes.
What exists is retailer-level feedback. The New Bedford, MA dealer has store ratings and testimonials. Owners of other Talalay beds comment on Talalay latex in general, which isn't brand-specific evidence. Talalay Global's corporate entity, Latex Foam International, filed Chapter 11 in August 2019. It confirmed a plan of liquidation in November 2020. That ended the Eclipse agreement behind Pure Talalay Bliss. We found no consumer-complaint pattern, recall, lawsuit or regulatory action tied to the mattress line.
Treat the lack of reviews as a data gap, not a clean bill of health. If you buy one today, it's a discontinued-brand bed. Warranty claims run through the retailer and the surviving Talalay Global business.
Where can you try and buy?
Distribution was always wholesale and regional. Talalay Global signed Eclipse International (North Brunswick, NJ) to make and distribute the Bliss line, announced in September 2018. It started with 12 licensees (10 US, 2 Canada). The plan was to extend across Eclipse's 65-licensee global network. Talalay Global sold pillows and toppers itself. Named licensees include Paramount Sleep for Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and West Virginia (October 2018). Pleasant Mattress of Fresno, California listed Pure Talalay Bliss among its core brands in June 2020. The official site ran only a postal-code dealer locator, and we couldn't recover a dealer list.
Today the brand's domain is a GoDaddy parking page. Talalay Global's site says it works solely with business clients. It markets only the PureTalalay ingredient brand, pillows, mattress cores, toppers and cushions. Eclipse no longer mentions Bliss on its site. A September 2026 search of eclipsemattress.com for bliss returned zero results. Its current latex bed is the EmBrace Sleep Latex Mattress. Eclipse described that in 2020 as an exact replica of the Pure Bliss line.
One retailer still lists the brand as of September 2026. It's Worleybeds Factory Outlet, 197 Popes Island, New Bedford, MA 02740, phone (508) 997-6791. Its site keeps a Pure Talalay Bliss category page with no models or prices. The store is in-person and local-delivery only. To try an all-Talalay bed, look for a latex-focused independent retailer or Eclipse licensee near you. Ask whether they can still order Pure Talalay Bliss. They may sell the successor EmBrace Pure Talalay or Natural Dreams Pure Talalay beds instead.
Delivery, setup and removal
Delivery details are thin because the brand sold through dealers, not direct. The archived About page says each mattress is custom made by hand and delivered to your door within a week. That's the only brand-level delivery promise we found. The brand doesn't publish delivery fees, white-glove setup, adjustable-base setup, stair carries, old-mattress disposal or delivery windows (checked September 2026). The archived site had no shipping page.
In practice, the independent retailer or Eclipse licensee that made and delivered the bed set those terms, so they vary by store. The New Bedford, MA dealer delivers locally only and shows no fee schedule. Pillows and toppers were the exception. Talalay Global sold those itself. Its archived footer pointed to a Terms of sales page for pillows and toppers, but we couldn't find it. We couldn't verify those shipping and return terms.
If you buy a used Pure Talalay Bliss bed, follow the brand's care rules. Keep the mattress flat. Never fold it side to side. Never store it compressed or rolled. Replace an old foundation rather than reusing it.
Sleep trial and returns
The brand doesn't publish a sleep trial, return or exchange policy, or refund language (checked September 2026). We searched the archived FAQ, About, Warranty, Retailers and all five mattress pages. None used the words trial, return or refund. The only comfort-related guarantee was the 15-year warranty against impressions over 1 inch.
Pure Talalay Bliss sold through Eclipse licensees and independent dealers. Any try-before-you-buy window, comfort exchange or restocking fee was set by the store, not the brand. We found no dealer terms specific to the brand. Factory-direct sales existed only for pillows and toppers, under a Terms of sales page we couldn't find.
If you buy a used or remaining-stock bed, you have no brand-backed trial, return or exchange right today. Get any dealer comfort guarantee in writing. Also confirm who honors the warranty now that the brand is dormant and the domain is parked.
Warranty
The warranty is the brand's clearest published promise. Mattresses get a 15-year non-prorated warranty with a 1 inch indentation limit. Toppers get 15 years on the Talalay, non-prorated, plus a separate 2-year warranty on the zippered cover. The archived warranty page says the beds were roller tested and Cornell tested by Stork Testing in Minneapolis. The brand says results were consistently significantly better than industry standards. If an impression greater than 1 inch appears, you should contact the retailer. The brand says its design doesn't have the body-impression problems common in other builds.
To start a claim you need the original sales receipt and the law label, which you shouldn't remove. The brand also asked owners to register the product and download the warranty form. It recommends an Ironwood Bedframes foundation and calls the frame critical to the warranty.
Several things aren't spelled out. The brand doesn't publish an exclusions list. It's non-prorated, so there's no proration schedule. It doesn't say who administers claims today. It doesn't confirm that a dormant brand can still supply replacement product. Eclipse took over mattress manufacturing and distribution under the 2018 agreement, while Talalay Global sold pillows and toppers directly. So warranty claims ran through the selling retailer. That's still your practical route for a claim on an existing mattress.
Pure Talalay Bliss vs. other brands
Talalay Global is the only Talalay latex producer in North America, and it supplies many competing brands. The same material shows up in beds from Berkeley Ergonomics, European Sleep Works, Avocado, PlushBeds, Nest Bedding, WinkBed EcoCloud and others. Those are usually thinner layers over coils or Dunlop. Pure Talalay Bliss was the purest expression of Talalay in the US market.
Against Dunlop latex brands (Sleep on Latex, SleepEZ's Dunlop options, Earthfoam, Savvy Rest's Dunlop layers), the brand pitched Talalay's four-times-more-breathable structure. It also claimed 33 percent better pressure relief, three-times-better resilience and a consistent feel top to bottom. Those claims trace to Talalay Global, not independent testing.
Against direct-to-consumer latex hybrids (Avocado, Saatva Latex Hybrid, PlushBeds Botanical Bliss, Birch, WinkBed EcoCloud), it loses badly on shopping experience. It has no sleep trial, no free returns, no published pricing today and a dormant brand. It wins on purity (no coils, no poly foam) and a 15-year non-prorated warranty. Many competitors offer 10 to 25 years with more exclusions.
Against memory foam and Tempur-Pedic, the brand's FAQ argues you sleep on Talalay, not in it. It says Talalay is fast-responding, temperature neutral, hypoallergenic and doesn't off-gas. That's directionally consistent with independent latex-versus-foam comparisons. Its closest modern equivalents come from its own corporate family. Eclipse's EmBrace Pure Talalay was described in 2020 as an exact replica of the Pure Bliss line. Natural Dreams Pure Talalay costs $1,999 to $7,999. It uses 100% natural Talalay with GOTS organic wool and cotton and WAVE-TECH zoning.
How we put this review together
We read the brand's own product, policy and warranty pages, then checked retailer listings and public complaint sites like the Better Business Bureau. We last checked everything here in September 2026. Prices and policies change, so confirm them on the seller's page before you buy. You can read more in our methodology and editorial policy.

Quick answers before you buy
Can I still buy a Pure Talalay Bliss mattress?
Only through leftover dealer stock or a dealer that can still order it. The brand site is a parked GoDaddy page, and Talalay Global now sells business-to-business only. The one retailer we confirmed in September 2026 keeps a Pure Talalay Bliss category page with no models or prices.
What did the beds cost?
Archived January 2021 list prices ran $2,199 for a Twin Pamper to $6,699 for a King or Cal King World's Best Bed. Nothing is published today, so treat current pricing as quote-only.
How long is the warranty and who honors it?
It's 15 years, non-prorated, with a 1 inch indentation limit on mattresses. Toppers get 15 years plus 2 years on the zippered cover. Claims start with the retailer. You need the original receipt and the intact law label.
Is there a sleep trial or free returns?
No. The brand published no trial, return, exchange or refund terms, so everything depends on the selling dealer.
What is the difference between these beds and other latex mattresses?
These were 100% Talalay latex with no coils or polyurethane foam. Talalay Global made them in Shelton, CT, and they're Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class I certified. Most models have an ActiveFusion phase-change top layer. The flagship has a carbon-infused top layer.
What replaced it?
Eclipse International replaced the line it was making with EmBrace Pure Talalay, described in 2020 as an exact replica of the Pure Bliss line. It also launched the Natural Dreams Pure Talalay collection, made with 100% natural latex, at $1,999 to $7,999 retail.
