Which mattress suits your sleep needs?
Side sleepers should look at Hawthorne Plush or Pillowtop for pressure relief, or Twilight 2.0 Plush. Back sleepers can try Explorer 300 Firm, Hawthorne Firm or Twilight 2.0 Pillowtop. Stomach sleepers do best on Explorer 300 Firm or Hawthorne Firm.
Couples and combination sleepers can pick Explorer 500 Plush or Twilight 2.0 Pillowtop. Pocketed coils limit motion transfer. RV, truck, boat and camper owners can find RV Twin, Full, Queen and King sizes in the Explorer line. Hot sleepers should look at the bamboo Tencel covers on Explorer and Twilight 2.0, or the breathable Hawthorne quilt.
Mattress prices and value
Dealer prices across sizes in September 2026 were Explorer 300 Firm at $499.95 to $1,399.95 and Explorer 700 Pillowtop at $699.95 to $1,699.90. Twilight 2.0 Plush was $899.95 to $2,299.90 and its Pillowtop $999.95 to $2,499.90. Hawthorne Firm and Plush ran $1,699.95 to $4,199.90, and Hawthorne Pillowtop $1,899.95 to $4,599.90.
The brand doesn't publish queen street prices, or spans for Explorer 500 and Twilight 2.0 Firm (checked September 2026). Explorer is the budget innerspring pick, and Twilight 2.0 is the mid-priced zoned hybrid. Hawthorne costs more for Talalay latex, silk and wool quilting and a 15-year warranty. Special financing and a BedMart VIP offer of $100 off $999 or more are advertised.
What are the mattresses made of?
Explorer has a bamboo-derived Tencel cover, a 730-count unit of individually wrapped coils and dual edge coils. The 700 adds gel-infused foam. All Parklane foams are claimed to be CertiPUR-US certified, and the beds are made in the USA and roll-boxed.
Hawthorne has a Tencel cover with silk and wool fiber and a Quiltflex quilt. Its comfort layers wrap posturized Talalay (15 ILD in plush and pillowtop, 44 ILD in firm), plus a gel memory-foam lumbar pad. Underneath are 1,046 tempered pocketed coils in five zones with a dual coil edge. Twilight 2.0 has a bamboo-fiber cover, 3-zone lumbar reinforcement and pocketed coils. The brand doesn't publish other certifications (checked September 2026).
How well do the mattresses hold up?
We found no independent durability tests or owner lifespan data (checked September 2026). Warranty length is the best clue. Hawthorne has a 15-year non-prorated warranty and Twilight 2.0 has 10 years non-prorated. Both cover body impressions over 1.5 inches. The brand doesn't publish the Explorer warranty length.
Tempered pocketed coils with reinforced edges on Hawthorne, plus CertiPUR-US foams, point to mid-range durability. We don't have evidence on edge sag, foam softening or Talalay longevity.
Customer reviews and complaints
GoodBed rates Parklane 84 out of 100, or Very Good, from 99 reviews as of September 2026. It also lists a discontinued Parklane Breeze Talalay Latex in medium.
The brand doesn't publish praise or complaint themes by model, such as cooling, motion isolation, edge support or sagging (checked September 2026). Test beds in a store before you buy.
Where can you try and buy?
You can try and buy at BedMart and Parklane Northwest showrooms across Oregon, Washington and Hawaii. The dealer advertises 36 or more locations, and acquisition coverage cites 47 combined stores. You can also buy online at shopbedmart.com, which shows stock and arrival by ZIP code.
The old parklanemattresses.com address redirects to BedMart's Northwest page, so BedMart is the main channel. GoodBed lists Parklane in Tualatin, Oregon, with Paramount Bedding noted as owner. The brand doesn't publish which models each store carries (checked September 2026).
Delivery, setup and removal
Free delivery is advertised on every model page, and you enter a ZIP code for stock and timing. Free warehouse pickup is offered at Wilsonville, Oregon, 7 days a week from 10am to 4pm. It's also offered at warehouses in Central Oregon, Oahu, Maui, Kauai and the Big Island.
The brand doesn't publish threshold delivery, in-home setup or old-mattress removal terms and fees (checked September 2026). Explorer models ship compressed in a box and expand in about 24 hours.
Sleep trial and returns
BedMart advertises a 365 Night Trial, called Love it or Exchange it. It's described as a one-time exchange within 365 days of delivery. One product page mentions a 120-night trial for the Explorer 500, which conflicts with the sitewide 365-night banner. Confirm the term in writing before you buy.
The brand doesn't publish restocking, pickup or exchange fees, or refund details (checked September 2026). The generic BedMart refund page is a 30-day template policy that doesn't match the mattress exchange offer.
Warranty
Hawthorne has a 15-year non-prorated warranty and Twilight 2.0 has 10 years non-prorated. Both run from the purchase date and cover manufacturing defects and body impressions deeper than 1.5 inches. BedMart's warranty FAQ adds a 1.5-inch limit for quilted-top impressions and 0.75 inches for memory foam.
Exclusions include stains, burns, improper support, comfort preference, mold, handles and misuse. You need the law tags and receipts. The manufacturer honors claims through BedMart's MyMattressWarranty.com service. The brand doesn't publish the Explorer warranty length (checked September 2026).
Parklane Mattresses vs. other brands
Against national bed-in-a-box hybrids, Parklane wins on showroom testing, regional factory heritage, Talalay with wool and silk (Hawthorne), and RV sizes. It loses on clear size and price grids and on free-return trials.
Against premium latex hybrids, Hawthorne's zoned Talalay at $1,700 to $4,600 is competitive, but we don't have spec-for-spec comparisons. Against value innersprings, the Explorer 300's sub-$500 start and 730 coils undercut most dealer rivals. Tempur-Pedic and Sealy, sold beside Parklane at BedMart, have stronger national warranty networks.
How we put this review together
We read the brand's own product, policy and warranty pages, then checked retailer listings and public complaint sites like the Better Business Bureau. We last checked everything here in September 2026. Prices and policies change, so confirm them on the seller's page before you buy. You can read more in our methodology and editorial policy.
