Pebble Sleep Mattress Review

Pebble Sleep is a family-owned California workshop that handcrafts four made-to-order mattresses in the USA. They range from the $400 Pebble Lite adaptive foam bed to the $2,199 Pebble Pure organic latex flagship. Every model includes a 120-night trial, a 3-year warranty and free shipping in the continental US. You'll find it best if you want value or latex. The big caveats are the short warranty and the return shipping you pay yourself.

Checked September 2026 against the brand's own pages and public listings. We haven't sleep-tested these mattresses, so treat this as a buyer's summary of what the brand publishes.

Which mattress suits your sleep needs?

If you sleep on your side, choose Medium-soft in the Latex-Luxe or Luxe Memory Foam for extra give at shoulders and hips. The buoyant Pure gives lift without deep sink. Back sleepers can choose Medium-firm in the Latex-Luxe or Luxe, or the Medium Pure. The Lite suits back sleepers on a budget.

Only the Lite is explicitly listed for stomach sleeping. Strict stomach sleepers who want a firm build should look elsewhere. Combination sleepers fit best on the Lite or Medium-firm Latex-Luxe.

The Pure runs cool, and the Latex-Luxe has latex plus airflow channels. The Luxe and Lite are rated Neutral. All models claim whisper-still motion isolation. The brand doesn't publish weight limits (checked September 2026).

Mattress prices and value

Pebble Lite runs Twin-XL $399.99, Full $459.99, Queen $499.99, King and California King $699.99. Luxe Memory Foam runs Twin-XL $599 (listed against $949), Full $749, Queen $899, King and California King $1,199. Latex-Luxe runs Twin-XL $899 (listed against $1,299), Full $1,249, Queen $1,499, King and California King $1,799, Wyoming King $3,899. Pure runs Twin $2,199, Twin XL $2,299, Full $2,599, Queen $2,999, King and California King $3,399.

The Lite undercuts most bed-in-a-box rivals under $500. The Luxe and Latex-Luxe sit mid-market with frequent markdowns. The Pure prices like an organic latex flagship. Affirm financing is offered at checkout, and pillows and toppers cost extra. The brand doesn't publish discount timing or price-match terms (checked September 2026).

What are the mattresses made of?

The Lite is 10 inches of adaptive foam. The brand doesn't publish a layer-by-layer breakdown. The Luxe Memory Foam is 12 inches with three layers. A pressure-relieving memory foam surface sits over a spinal-alignment support layer. A contour-cut base has channels for breathability. Its foams are CertiPUR-US certified.

The Latex-Luxe is 12 inches with a natural latex top, an adaptive memory foam middle and a contour-cut support core. The Pure is 12 inches with three layers of 100% organic certified latex, a contour-cut middle layer and a soft organic cotton cover. The brand states no polyfoam and no blended foam. It doesn't name GOTS, GOLS or OEKO-TEX, or publish densities and ILDs (checked September 2026).

How well do the mattresses hold up?

All four models carry the same 3-year limited warranty. That trails the 10-year norm and signals modest long-term coverage. The latex models should resist deep body impressions better than the all-foam Lite and Luxe. The brand never stores the Pure compressed long-term, which can help latex integrity.

The brand advises a breathable protector, spot cleaning only, rotating every 3 to 6 months and a solid foundation with slat gaps no wider than 3 inches. Sagging over 1 inch from a defect is covered. Gradual softening isn't. The brand doesn't publish lifespan figures or independent durability testing.

Customer reviews and complaints

Only on-site reviews exist as of September 2026. Latex-Luxe has 5 reviews, all 5-star. Buyers praise comfort, breathability, latex bounce with a foam cradle and the medium-firm fit. One notes the heavy weight at setup. The Lite has 1 review, 5-star, praising quality and comfort.

Page testimonials for the Lite cite value, break-in over weeks and easy setup. Luxe testimonials praise deep sink-in comfort, motion isolation and hip relief for side sleepers. We found no third-party complaints, and no BBB, Trustpilot, Amazon or independent reviews.

Where can you try and buy?

You buy direct at pebblesleep.com. The brand says it operates no retail locations, so there's no store to try one. We found no authorized retailers or Amazon listings. A compare page, sleep quiz and FAQ help you choose, and a hospitality program handles trade inquiries.

The brand doesn't publish phone support or live chat. Contact is by email at support@pebblesleep.com.

Delivery, setup and removal

Every mattress is made to order in the family workshop and ships within 5 to 7 business days. Transit adds 3 to 7 business days, with emailed tracking. Free ground shipping covers the continental United States. The brand doesn't ship to PO Boxes, APO and FPO addresses, or internationally.

Beds arrive compressed and roll-packed. Unbox promptly and allow a few hours to 48 hours to expand. Setup is DIY on a solid foundation or platform frame. The brand doesn't publish white-glove delivery or old-mattress removal.

Sleep trial and returns

You get 120 nights from delivery on every mattress, with a required 30-night break-in before you start a return. You get a full refund to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days after inspection. There's no restocking fee. You ship the mattress back to the Pebble facility and pay return shipping, unless it's a manufacturing defect.

Exchanges for a different model or size are allowed within 120 nights. The replacement ships in 5 to 7 business days plus 3 to 7 days transit. You need normal use only, no stains or damage, and proof of purchase. Soiled mattresses, requests after 120 nights, custom sizes and opened pillows aren't returnable. The brand doesn't publish prepaid labels or charity pickup.

Warranty

All mattresses carry a 3-year limited warranty from purchase, for the original purchaser only. It covers visible sagging or impressions over 1 inch not caused by improper support, cracking or splitting, and cover, seam or zipper defects. It excludes gradual softening, abuse, a bad foundation, burns, stains, cuts, commercial use and unauthorized resellers.

Pebble repairs or replaces with the same or comparable model at its discretion. Shipping and handling on replacements may be charged. Email support@pebblesleep.com with your name, order number, description and photos. The brand states a review response in 3 to 5 business days. There's no prorated coverage after year 3.

Pebble Sleep vs. other brands

Against Zinus and Lucid, the Pebble Lite costs more but offers a US made-to-order build and a 120-night trial. Against Nectar and Casper Element, the Luxe matches the 12-inch profile with two firmness options, but trails on warranty length.

Against Avocado, PlushBeds and Birch, the Pure counters with all-latex made-to-order construction. It names no GOTS, GOLS or OEKO-TEX certificate and gives 3 years against 10 to 25. Pebble sells no coil model. The Wyoming King on the Latex-Luxe is a rare oversize plus.
