Peace Lily Mattress Review

Peace Lily Sleep Pty Ltd is an Australian-owned natural latex brand, founded in 2018 by engineer Migara. It makes mattresses in its own factory in Buttala, Sri Lanka, from hand-tapped latex supplied by 44 farm partners. The flagship is a flippable all-Dunlop-latex mattress with a 100-night trial and a 25-year warranty. It ships within Australia only, and not to the US. It's best if you're an Australian shopper who wants a foam-free natural latex bed.

Checked September 2026 against the brand's own pages and public listings. We haven't sleep-tested these mattresses, so treat this as a buyer's summary of what the brand publishes.

Which mattress suits your sleep needs?

If you sleep on your side, the Latex Mattress's medium side or the plush overlay topper is the closest fit for pressure relief. The Hybrid comfort layer is soft Dunlop D65. Back sleepers of average weight can use the medium side of the Latex or the Hybrid.

Stomach sleepers get the least sink from the firmer flipped side of the Latex Mattress. Hot sleepers get latex-over-cotton construction with a breathable rigid base, positioned for airflow versus memory foam. No independent cooling tests exist. The D80 support core and firmer side suit heavier sleepers, but the brand doesn't publish per-weight guidance (checked September 2026).

Mattress prices and value

The Latex Mattress costs, in AUD, Single $999 (92 x 188 x 21 cm, 29 kg) and Long Single $1,199 (92 x 203 cm, 31 kg). King Single is $1,299 (107 x 203 cm, 36 kg). Double is $1,499 (138 x 188 cm, 43 kg), Queen is $1,699 (153 x 203 cm, 51 kg) and King is $1,999 (183 x 203 cm, 61 kg).

The Hybrid runs from Single $799 (26 kg) to King $1,399 (53 kg). The Cot Mattress is $699 AUD. The brand doesn't publish USD pricing, financing or promo terms. It's mid-to-premium Australian latex pricing with a long trial and warranty. US shoppers can't buy at any price.

What are the mattresses made of?

The Latex Mattress uses three Dunlop natural latex cores (5 cm D65, 10 cm D80, 5 cm D75) joined with latex-based adhesive. The shell is a heavy organic cotton knit of about 350 gsm. You also get quilted organic cotton padding of about 180 gsm per side, 420 gsm edge binding and side pull grips. It's made without polyurethane foam, memory foam, chemical fire retardants or harsh bonding agents.

Your Hybrid has a 5 cm soft regenerative Dunlop D65 comfort layer and 3-zone high-carbon-steel pocket coils with firmer perimeter rows. It adds a 2.5 cm extra-firm D90 latex edge border and a 2.5 cm D65 latex support layer, plus an organic cotton cover. Inputs are described as OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 Class 1.

Latex is hand-tapped in Sri Lanka by 44 farm partners, with regenagri regenerative sourcing and a Regenerative Latex Standard in progress. The brand doesn't publish GOTS, GOLS or Eco Institut certificates (checked September 2026).

How well do the mattresses hold up?

The brand reports a 25-year limited warranty covering dips and material faults. The flippable design spreads wear. It requires a rigid breathable base with gaps no wider than 9 cm. It discourages floor use, weak slats, box springs and closed storage bases, and notes improper support can affect cover.

The brand doesn't publish a rotation schedule, weight limits, cleaning care or independent durability tests (checked September 2026). It was founded in 2018 with its own Sri Lankan factory, and it reports boxed-bed Best Latex honors for 2024, 2025 and 2026.

Customer reviews and complaints

The Latex Mattress shows 4.9 out of 5 from 415 reviews on the brand's product page. We couldn't read review text or verify them in September 2026. ProductReview.com.au has 1.0 from a single review. It complained that the Moorabbin showroom works by appointment, with rushed, cold service, full parking, shabby premises and quality below the website.

The business replied that bookings ensure personal attention, and walk-ins are accepted when timing allows. It invited a rebooking. We found no US ratings from Google, BBB, Trustpilot or Amazon, which fits with no US sales.

Where can you try and buy?

You buy direct at peacelily.com.au, with AUD checkout. Remote-postcode surcharges show at checkout. The showroom in Moorabbin, Victoria (Melbourne) works mostly by appointment, and there's a virtual showroom. You won't find a street address or hours published.

You can call 1800 695 459 or info@peacelily.com.au, with help hours of 9 am to 7 pm Monday to Friday. There are no US stores, no Amazon listing, no USD checkout and no international shipping. US shoppers can't try or buy.

Delivery, setup and removal

The compressed, boxed mattress ships free to most Australian areas, including metro, regional and rural zones. Remote postcodes may cost extra, shown at checkout. Single is busy, with about a 1-week lead.

Unbox within days, and don't keep it boxed beyond two weeks. Place it on a rigid breathable base with gaps no wider than 9 cm. The brand discourages floor use, weak slats, cardboard, box springs and closed storage bases. The brand doesn't publish tracking, white-glove setup or old-mattress removal, so you handle disposal yourself.

Sleep trial and returns

You get a 100 Night Trial, with conditions, and the brand positions it as full money-back if the bed doesn't suit. The free-shipping-and-returns banner carries an asterisk, and we couldn't view its terms page in September 2026. The brand doesn't publish return steps, refund method, pickup, exchanges or fees.

Sales are Australia-only, so US trial or return rights don't apply. Confirm full trial terms before you buy.

Warranty

The brand offers an extended limited warranty of up to 25 years, covering dips, sag and material faults. The warranty page was empty when we checked in September 2026. Sag thresholds, covered parts, exclusions, claim steps and freight responsibility aren't published.

Improper bases can affect cover, per the product page. The brand doesn't publish transferability, proration or replacement terms.

Peace Lily vs. other brands

Against mass-market memory foam bed-in-a-box brands, Peace Lily wins on foam-free natural Dunlop latex and cotton with no chemical fire retardants. If you want lower entry prices, memory foam wins and US availability. Against standard pocket-spring hybrids, Peace Lily's Hybrid wins on latex comfort layers and edge support. Conventional hybrids win on in-store trial breadth.

Against US natural latex brands, Peace Lily matches on Dunlop latex storytelling with its own factory and farm network. US brands win on US shipping, USD pricing, trials and certifications for American shoppers.

How we put this review together

We read the brand's own product, policy and warranty pages, then checked retailer listings and public complaint sites like the Better Business Bureau. We last checked everything here in September 2026. Prices and policies change, so confirm them on the seller's page before you buy. You can read more in our methodology and editorial policy.
