Zoma Sleep Mattress Review

Zoma Sleep is a Scottsdale, Arizona online mattress brand built around athlete recovery. It pitches sleep as a tool for muscle repair, pain relief and next-day energy, and it cites pro and Olympic athlete endorsements. The lineup is three cooling hybrids with zoned support: Start Hybrid at 10 in, Hybrid at 12 in and Boost at 15 in. You get free shipping, a 100-night trial and a 10-year warranty. You can't test one in a store, so you'll be buying online.

Checked September 2026 against the brand's own pages and public listings. We haven't sleep-tested these mattresses, so treat this as a buyer's summary of what the brand publishes.

Which mattress suits your sleep needs?

If you sleep on your back or stomach, Start Hybrid is the firmest and safest pick. Sleep Junkie and Zoma both note the plusher Boost can let hips sink. If you sleep on your side, Hybrid or Boost fit best. Zoma calls the Boost perfect for side sleepers who want extra pressure relief.

Combination sleepers should look at Hybrid or Boost, since the Reactiv foam rebounds quickly. Couples get motion isolation from the pocketed coils. Sleep Junkie scored Hybrid motion isolation 8/10 and Boost 10/10.

Boost has the most cooling hardware, with graphite foam and an advanced cooling cover. Hybrid and Start use gel foam with breathable covers. Heavier sleepers do better on the 8 in coil cores of Hybrid and Boost than on the thinner 10 in Start.

Mattress prices and value

In September 2026 the site ran a promo of roughly 25 percent off, so budget for list prices if it ends. Start Hybrid runs $599 to $1,398 list, or about $449.25 to $1,048.50 on promo. Hybrid runs $949 to $2,098 list, or $711.75 to $1,573.50 on promo. Boost runs $1,349 to $2,898 list, or $1,011.75 to $2,173.50 on promo.

Queen to queen, that's about $674 to $1,349 on promo versus $899 to $1,799 list. You get a 100-night trial, free shipping and free mattress returns. Klarna financing is 0% APR, with four payments under $1,000 and 6, 12 or 18 months above that.

Accessories cost extra and are final sale. The cart prices the Zoma Foundation at $400, the Adjustable Bed at $1,800 and the Pillow at $100. The brand doesn't publish an independent value score for the 2026 models (checked September 2026).

What are the mattresses made of?

All three models are hybrids with pocketed coils and Reactiv fast-rebound foam. Boost (15 in) has a quilted gel foam layer and 2 in of graphite-infused Energex memory foam. Under that sit 2 in of Reactiv, 8 in of Dynamic Edge zoned coils and 1 in of base foam. Hybrid (12 in) has 2 in of gel memory foam, 1 in of Reactiv, 8 in of coils and 1 in of base foam. Start Hybrid (10 in) has 2 in of gel memory foam, 2 in of Reactiv and a 6 in zoned coil core.

Covers are breathable AirCloth on most models and an advanced cooling cover on the Boost. All foams are CertiPUR-US certified. The mattresses are 100% fiberglass-free, made in the USA, with low-VOC claims. The brand doesn't publish foam densities, coil count, coil gauge or cover fiber content (checked September 2026). Some pages are inconsistent, so we used the current product listings.

How well do the mattresses hold up?

Zoma backs every mattress with a 10-year full replacement warranty for faulty workmanship and structural defects. The warranty page sets the sag threshold at a visible center indentation over 1.5 in. A Hybrid marketing page claims coverage beyond 1 in. You may pay labor and shipping on a claim, and Zoma doesn't haul away the defective mattress.

Sleep Junkie found no premature wear on the Hybrid and gave high durability confidence to the Hybrid and Boost. Mattress Clarity scored the older Zoma Start just 3.5/5 for durability and 2.5/5 for edge support. BBB complaints include a Boost with weak edge support and a cover seam that came apart within months.

The brand doesn't publish independent long-term testing of the 2026 models. Use a solid or slatted base with slats under 2.75 to 3 in apart. A box spring without 0.75 in plywood voids the warranty.

Customer reviews and complaints

On Zoma's own site the Hybrid shows 4.8 from 1357 reviews, the Start Hybrid 4.9 from 316 and the Boost 5.0 from 93. These are brand-hosted, so weigh them with care. Sleep Junkie scored the Hybrid 9/10 and the Boost 10/10. EachNight named the Boost Best Luxury in its Best Mattress of 2026 guide and scored the Start 9/10.

NapLab scored the older all-foam Zoma 8.89/10, top 28% of mattresses tested. Sleep Advisor rated the Zoma Mattress 3.2/5. Mattress Clarity rated the older Start 3.6/5.

BBB rates Zoma Sleep LLC A-, accredited since 9/13/2024, and lists 7 complaints in 3 years. Themes include delivery delays, poor edge support, a seam defect and refunds taking about two weeks. Trustpilot shows a 3.0 average from only 2 reviews.

Where can you try and buy?

You buy direct at zomasleep.com, and mattresses are built to order. Support is 888-400-8856, 7am to 5pm Arizona time on weekdays. Headquarters are at 7167 E Rancho Vista Dr Ste 137 in Scottsdale.

The brand doesn't publish a store locator or showroom list (checked September 2026). You can test one at partner hotels like the A-Lodge in Boulder, Colorado. We found no official Zoma listings on Amazon, Wayfair or Mattress Firm.

Delivery, setup and removal

Shipping is free curbside FedEx to the contiguous 48 states. Mattresses leave the facility in about 3 to 7 business days, then arrive 1 to 5 business days later. Expect 7 to 10 business days total. It ships compressed in a box, so unroll it and let it expand 4 to 6 hours, up to 24 hours.

The brand doesn't publish in-home setup. Old-mattress removal isn't offered in most places. In California only, Zoma coordinates a free pickup within 30 days if you call 888-400-8856. It doesn't ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, APO addresses or overseas.

Sleep trial and returns

Every Zoma mattress includes a 100-night trial that starts on delivery. You're asked to sleep on it at least 30 nights before you request a return. Returns are free when approved. You contact support, and Zoma arranges pickup or donation through a third party.

There's no exchange program, so it's a refund and rebuy. Pillows, bedding, pads, foundations and adjustable beds are final sale. An adjustable bed can sometimes be cancelled before delivery for a 30% restocking fee. If you don't return a free gift item, its retail value comes off your refund. No restocking fee applies to the mattress.

Warranty

You get a 10-year full replacement warranty from the purchase date for faulty workmanship and structural defects. Zoma decides whether to repair or replace. It covers a visible center indentation over 1.5 in, with corners and edges excluded. It also covers defects in the removable cover zipper.

It doesn't cover normal softening, rips from handling, or damage from stains, burns, moisture, cuts or re-compressing. A missing law tag, no proof of purchase, a bad foundation, or resale voids it. Slats over 2.75 in apart count as a bad foundation. Only the original buyer in the US and Canada is covered.

Other products have their own terms. The Foundation has 1 year. Adjustable beds have 10 years, with parts and labor in year 1 and parts only in year 2. Pillows have 10 years, and Tencel sheets and the Recover+ Protector have 1 year.

Zoma Sleep vs. other brands

Against Bear, EachNight gave its Best for Athletes category to the Bear Star Hybrid and named the Zoma Boost Best Luxury. Against Tempur-Pedic, Zoma undercuts flagship pricing with a 15 in hybrid at $1,349.25 queen on promo. It lacks their showroom networks.

Saatva offers in-home delivery service, while Zoma ships a boxed mattress with no haul-away outside California. Amerisleep leans on plant-based foams, HIVE support and a 20-year warranty. Zoma leans on graphite cooling and a 10-year warranty. EachNight scored the Boost and Amerisleep AS3 level at 9.5 overall.

The brand's Start Hybrid at $599 list competes with value brands. The brand doesn't publish a head-to-head lab test against Tempur-Pedic, Saatva, Bear, Amerisleep or Sleep Number (checked September 2026).
