Ultimate Dreams Mattress Review
Ultimate Dreams was the factory-direct value line of Dreamfoam Bedding, a Phoenix, Arizona sister company of Brooklyn Bedding. It offered Talalay latex from $399, gel memory foam from $349 and poly foam beds from $99. You could buy it at dreamfoambedding.com and on Amazon. The name was retired around 2018 to 2019. The ultimatedreams.com site is parked, and no retailer sells it new in 2026. For most shoppers the answer today is no. If the formula appeals to you, look at Dreamfoam's CopperFlex line or Brooklyn Bedding.

Which mattress suits your sleep needs?
Talalay latex sleeps cooler than memory foam. The brand says it's hypoallergenic and dust-mite resistant. So the four latex models suit hot sleepers, allergy sufferers and anyone who dislikes sinking into foam. Total Latex has the most latex. Aloe Alexis is the plushest 14-inch build. EuroTop has the removable comfort layer.
For memory foam pressure relief, pick 10 in Gel (firm) or Aria Gel (medium-firm) if you sleep on your back or stomach, or you're heavier. Supreme Gel (medium) suits combination sleepers. 13 in Gel (soft) suits side sleepers. Couples get less motion with latex, while the 13 in Gel absorbs motion but can sleep warmer. Crazy Quilt 7 in, Euro-Top 9 in, Pillow Top 11 in and the 12-in-1 suit kids, guests, bunks and RVs.
Dreamfoam built latex and select models to a firmness you asked for on a 1 to 10 scale. The default was 6. One site reviewer chose 4 for a guest and day bed. It also offered custom sizes and shapes for RVs, boats and non-standard frames.
Mattress prices and value
These are archived brand prices from 2015 and 2016 site captures, plus Amazon prices from April 2015. Nothing's sold new in 2026. Latex: Ultimate Dreams Latex from $399 (Twin $399, Twin XL $449, Full $499, Full XL, Queen and Short Queen $599, King and Cal King $749, shown MSRP $699 to $1,399). EuroTop from $699 (MSRP $1,399 to $2,099), Aloe Alexis from $999 and Total Latex from $1,199.
Memory foam: 10 in Gel from $349, Aria Gel and Supreme Gel from $449, 13 in Gel from $479. Poly foam: Crazy Quilt from $99, Euro-Top from $129, Pillow Top from $179 and 12-in-1 Customizable from $289. Amazon prices in April 2015 were $559.95 for the Latex Queen Medium (661 reviews) and $612.87 for the Cushion Firm Latex Queen. The Supreme Gel Queen was $549.00 (196 reviews), the 13-Inch Gel Queen $679.95 (450 reviews) and the Crazy Quilt Pillow Top Queen $274.76 (335 reviews). The 12-in-1 Queen was $407.76 against a $1,999 list price (104 reviews), and a shredded gel pillow was $29.99 (376 reviews).
The pitch was factory-direct pricing, backed by frequent promotions. One was 10% off sitewide plus free shipping with code TENOFF. Another was $50 off $499 or more with code summer50 in summer 2017. The brand kept a visible $99 return fee rather than hiding the cost in the price. The latex beds undercut most latex rivals, and the 13 in Gel was pitched against the Tempur-Pedic Cloud Luxe. Those are the brand's own claims, and they're unverified. We didn't find any independent value testing.
What are the mattresses made of?
Latex models: Ultimate Dreams Latex has 3 inches of Talalay over 6 inches of 1.8 lb HD poly. EuroTop has a 3-inch removable Talalay layer over 8 inches of 2 lb convoluted poly. Aloe Alexis has 6 inches of Talalay over 7 inches of 2 lb poly. Total Latex has 3 inches of Talalay over a 6-inch Talalay core. Memory foam models use 4 lb gel foam over 1.8 lb poly, and 13 in Gel adds 2 inches of 5 lb memory foam. Crazy Quilt models use tri-zone convoluted foam over 1.5 lb poly, and the 12-in-1 uses 2 lb poly.
Covers are quilted bamboo knit with 1.5 inches of super-soft reflex foam, or 4-way stretch cotton knit on some models. The bamboo knit has 100% biodegradable bamboo fibers and about four times cotton's moisture absorbency. The archived site says all foams were CertiPUR-US certified. That means no ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, mercury, lead, formaldehyde or regulated phthalates, and low VOC under 0.5 ppm. The latex mattresses were Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified.
A later FAQ describes a fire-retardant sock of silica, rayon, polyester and cotton instead of chemical sprays. The maker said it owned its factory in Phoenix, Arizona (4455 W Camelback Rd appears in later footers) and used US-made fabric and foam.
How well do the mattresses hold up?
Model charts list 10-year warranties on every latex and memory foam model. The Crazy Quilt group and the 12-in-1 get 5 years. The site-wide notice said 10 or 20 years limited, depending on the model. We didn't find independent wear or sag testing. Talalay latex is marketed as a durable, resilient material. The latex models also had replaceable or exchangeable comfort layers, which helps if the top layer wears.
One brand-site review from February 2016 said the mattress held up great at about seven months. It measured 10.88 inches thick on opening. That owner said you'll need a 180-degree turn periodically. The later FAQ says to rotate every 6 to 8 months and never flip. Another owner reported deeper side sleep in the first week.
The later FAQ says all mattresses develop minimal body impressions, and break-in takes 30 to 45 nights. Warranty coverage applies to impressions of 1 inch or more. The 2016 warranty page uses 1.5 inches. We didn't find lab scores, foam tests or multi-year owner surveys (September 2026), so treat long-life claims as unverified.
Customer reviews and complaints
The 2015 to 2016 homepage claimed 2,000+ 5 star ratings on Amazon. Review counts in April 2015 were large. The Latex Queen had 661, the 13-Inch Gel Queen 450, the Crazy Quilt Pillow Top Queen 335 and the Supreme Gel Queen 196. The 12-in-1 Queen had 104 reviews at 4.5 of 5 stars: 75% five-star, 12% four-star, 6% three-star, 3% two-star and 5% one-star. The shredded gel pillow had 376 reviews. Brand-site reviews from February 2016 praised value, the firmness email, quick odor fade and adjustable-base fit.
Complaints weren't common. One two-star Amazon review read AND ITS JUST OK, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Owners also mentioned rotating the mattress to keep it comfortable. The brand said comfort preference isn't a warranty issue, so you couldn't return a bed just for feel, and returns carried a $99 fee.
We couldn't find BBB data, complaint counts or an independent review summary for Ultimate Dreams (checked September 2026). The Amazon history is visible only through 2015. A 2020 FAQ says Amazon orders not fulfilled through Brooklyn Bedding or Amazon Prime aren't covered by the Brooklyn Bedding warranty or trial.
Where can you try and buy?
It sold direct at dreamfoambedding.com, with model pages running from about 2013 until the product pages disappeared by December 2018. It also sold on Amazon, where Dreamfoam Bedding listings were Prime-eligible. RV, custom-size and custom-shape orders went through brand representatives. We didn't find a showroom, retail partner or store locator. The maker shipped factory direct from Phoenix, Arizona. Phone numbers were 888-213-8967 in the brand era and 1-888-210-8751 with support@brooklynbedding.com later.
In September 2026, ultimatedreams.com is a parked GoDaddy page. Amazon, Walmart and Target searches for Ultimate Dreams mattresses show nothing. Brooklyn Bedding's site search returns 0 results. The live Dreamfoam store sells CopperFlex RV Hybrid and CopperFlex Essential instead. Your routes are used-market listings, or a Dreamfoam CopperFlex or Brooklyn Bedding mattress from the same Phoenix factory family.
Delivery, setup and removal
Product pages in 2016 said orders arrive in 5 to 7 business days on average. Mattresses shipped roll-packed in a box. One reviewer cut the plastic, heard air rush in and had a 10.88-inch bed about 30 seconds later. After a two-day odor fade, they slept well. The later FAQ says to let the mattress sit 3 to 5 hours before lying on it. The new-mattress scent fades within hours to 24 hours.
Any minimal-flex foundation works, and you'll want one, such as a platform, slat or box spring. Queen and king sets need a rigid center support with at least 5 legs or 5 hardwood cross-slats to keep warranty coverage. The 2020 FAQ lists FedEx or UPS, no shipping fee on standard sizes, Alaska and Hawaii from $125 per mattress, Canada via UPS and otherwise US only. Tracking numbers activate within 24 to 48 hours, and cancelled orders carry a $60 fee.
The brand doesn't publish old-mattress removal or in-home setup (checked September 2026). The only pickup was the brand collecting a returned mattress under the 45 Day Trial.
Sleep trial and returns
The published terms varied by year. The 2015 to 2016 homepage advertised a 45 Day Trial on every model with a flat $99 return fee covering shipping and pickup. You'd pay the fee only if you returned it. The 2016 Return Policy page described 30 days of sleep, then a refund with a one-time $99 shipping and restocking charge. Pillows aren't returnable. The 2017 About page claimed a 120 night return policy.
The 2020 FAQ describes a 120-night trial on mattresses only. You'd need at least 30 days before a return, and it's usable once per customer per calendar year. Prepaid return labels come by email. Credit-card refunds take 3 to 4 business days, and shipping fees aren't refundable. Amazon orders not fulfilled by Brooklyn Bedding or Amazon Prime are excluded. Exchanges meant comfort-layer changes, since EuroTop has a zip-off layer and Aloe Alexis an exchangeable one. We didn't find exchange pricing. A trial existed, but it wasn't long, it cost money and it wasn't consistent across years.
Warranty
The 2016 warranty page says Dreamfoam Bedding covers items sold on Amazon. Mattresses carry a 10 or 20 year limited warranty, depending on the model, with repair or replacement at the company's option. The model charts list 10 years on Latex, EuroTop, Aloe Alexis, Total Latex, 10 in Gel, Aria Gel, Supreme Gel and 13 in Gel. They list 5 years on Crazy Quilt, Crazy Quilt Euro-Top, Pillow Top and 12-in-1. One product page said 5 or 10 years, so the terms weren't fully consistent.
Covered: torn handles, loose or broken coils or wires, body indentations of 1.5 inches or more and sagging on a proper frame. Foundation defects such as split frames and bent or loose beams are covered too. What isn't covered: fabric, border wires bent in a move, bed height, sheet fit, comfort preference, indentations under 1.5 inches, abuse and transport costs. It's for the original purchaser with proof of purchase. A local inspector may be used at your expense and refunded if a defect is confirmed.
The 2020 FAQ describes a 10-year warranty covering defects and body impressions of 1 inch or more. Platforms, adjustable bases and pillows get 3 years, and sheets get 1 year. Service ran through Dreamfoam Bedding and then Brooklyn Bedding. If you own one today, you'll need to test whether that channel honors the retired line.
Ultimate Dreams vs. other brands
Ultimate Dreams was a factory-direct value brand. The site argued that owning the factory removes middlemen, so you don't pay a premium for a name. Its loudest claim was that 13 in Gel was comparable to the TempurPedic Cloud Luxe at a fraction of the cost. The latex models went after store-brand latex beds on price. On Amazon it sat beside Lucid, whose 10-inch latex Queen was $484.75 in April 2015. Inside its own house, Dreamfoam Bedding and Brooklyn Bedding carried the main brand equity.
It likely won on latex price per inch, free custom firmness and Amazon review volume. It likely lost on showrooms, a fee-bearing short trial, mixed brand names on Amazon and no coil or hybrid option. Today it doesn't compete, and you can't buy it. The nearest live options are Dreamfoam (CopperFlex RV Hybrid from $565, CopperFlex Essential from $299 list, 25% off sitewide in September 2026) and Brooklyn Bedding. The brand doesn't publish independent head-to-head tests (checked September 2026).
How we put this review together
We read the brand's own product, policy and warranty pages, then checked retailer listings and public complaint sites like the Better Business Bureau. We last checked everything here in September 2026. Prices and policies change, so confirm them on the seller's page before you buy. You can read more in our methodology and editorial policy.

Quick answers before you buy
Is Ultimate Dreams still available to buy?
No. The brand was retired around 2018 to 2019. The ultimatedreams.com site is parked, and Amazon, Walmart and Target searches showed no Ultimate Dreams mattresses in September 2026.
Who made Ultimate Dreams and where?
Dreamfoam Bedding made it, a family-owned factory-direct maker in Phoenix, Arizona. The site says it has been in business since 1995 and has made mattresses since 2010. It later became Dreamfoam by Brooklyn Bedding. Beds were made in the USA and sold direct and on Amazon.
What did the lineup cover and what did it cost?
There were twelve models. Four Talalay latex beds ran $399 to $1,199, and four gel memory foam beds ran $349 to $479. Three Crazy Quilt poly foam beds ran $99 to $179, and the 12-in-1 was $289. April 2015 Amazon prices included $559.95 for the latex Queen and $407.76 for the 12-in-1 Queen.
What were the trial and return terms?
The 2015 to 2016 homepage listed a 45-day trial with a flat $99 return fee. The 2016 return page listed 30 days with a $99 shipping and restocking fee. The 2017 About page claimed 120 nights. Pillows were never returnable.
What did the warranty cover and for how long?
The model charts give 10 years on latex and memory foam and 5 years on Crazy Quilt and the 12-in-1. The site-wide notice said 10 or 20 years. It covers defects and body indentations of 1.5 inches or more for the original buyer with proof of purchase.
What should I buy instead today?
For the same factory-direct formula, look at Dreamfoam's CopperFlex models or Brooklyn Bedding's lineup. If you want Talalay latex under about $800, compare current Amazon latex options. Check the trial, return fee and warranty before you order.
