TruckMattress.com Review

TruckMattress.com is the factory-direct, veteran-owned truck mattress division of North America Mattress Corp. in Clackamas, Oregon. It sells made-to-order 5 to 7 inch CertiPUR-US foam sleeper-berth mattresses in 36 truck-specific sizes, from $280 to $730. You get free shipping in the contiguous US, custom cuts and a 12-month warranty. You don't get a sleep trial. It's a work-truck product, not a home bedroom mattress. If you drive a semi, RV or van and need an exact-fit foam replacement, it's built for you.

Checked September 2026 against the brand's own pages and public listings. We haven't sleep-tested these mattresses, so treat this as a buyer's summary of what the brand publishes.

Which mattress suits your sleep needs?

The brand's firmness guide matches sleepers to a firmness scale. Side sleepers are 2 to 7, back sleepers 4 to 8, stomach sleepers 5 to 7 and lighter sleepers 2 to 5. Heavier sleepers should go medium-firm to firm. If you're a side sleeper who wants relief at shoulders and hips, pick the Road Elite or the soft face of the Dual Duty.

Back and stomach sleepers can flip the Dual Duty to its firm face or choose the Fleet Rest. Drivers up to 400 lbs should choose the Big Trucker. Fleets that rotate and wipe down mattresses should choose the Fleet Rest with the nylon cover. RV, van and camper owners can order any model in a custom size. All models are 5 to 7 in foam, so none feels like a plush home pillow-top.

Mattress prices and value

Factory-direct prices run by size. The Fleet Rest is $280 to $365 (5 in), the Dual Duty $395 to $570 (6 in), the Road Elite $420 to $620 (6 in) and the Big Trucker $490 to $730 (7 in). Trapper camp pads are $195 to $290 and outdoor bench cushions $195 to $230. Shipping is free by FedEx ground to the contiguous 48 states. Financing is advertised from about $21 per month, and fleet discounts are available on request.

You're paying less than a home hybrid, with no dealer markup. The selling point is exact-fit sizing in 36 truck sleeper dimensions. But you get a 12-month warranty, no trial and no free returns. Value is strong if you're replacing an OEM sleeper mattress and weaker if you want long-term home-style coverage.

What are the mattresses made of?

These are all-foam builds. There are no springs, latex or hybrids. Every foam is CertiPUR-US certified, so it's made without ozone depleters, PBDE, TDCPP or TCEP flame retardants, mercury, lead, formaldehyde or regulated phthalates. VOC emissions are under 0.5 ppm. The Road Elite has a 2 inch cool gel memory foam top (the brand calls it 4 lb memory foam). The Big Trucker has 7 in of multi-layer foam with an extra-firm high-density base. The Dual Duty has a soft face, a medium-firm face and a firm core. The Fleet Rest is one 5 inch medium-firm layer.

Covers are either a washable polyester-blend stretch knit with a covered zipper, or a heavy-duty blue nylon. The nylon is fluid resistant, flame retardant, anti-static and treated with an EPA-registered Ultra-Fresh antimicrobial system. The brand says its mattresses meet US fire codes. There are no natural, organic, latex, wool or spring options.

How well do the mattresses hold up?

The brand says the flippable designs and high-density cores resist sagging and suit heavier drivers. It tuned pressure relief with Tactilus pressure-imaging hardware by Sensor Products Inc. at its Clackamas factory. Published evidence is thin. The brand doesn't publish foam density except the Road Elite's 4 lb memory foam, or any sag or cycle-test data (checked September 2026).

Owner reviews on the site and Trustpilot describe multi-year satisfaction and no sagging. Those samples are small and self-selected. The 12-month warranty is short for a mattress, so you can't verify durability past a few years.

Customer reviews and complaints

The brand claims 98 percent of its truck sleeper customers would recommend it. Trustpilot shows roughly 4.1 out of 5 from about 45 reviews. Most praise comfort, exact fit and service. A few buyers were disappointed. The site publishes Google reviews sampled from 2017 to 2020 and Amazon Verified Purchase quotes praising comfort, fit and quick delivery.

SmartCustomer, formerly SiteJabber, lists zero reviews. A BBB profile exists for North America Mattress Corp. in Clackamas, and it's not BBB accredited. The rating and complaint counts weren't available to us. No pattern of delivery, refund or sagging complaints shows up, but review volume is small. Treat ratings as directional.

Where can you try and buy?

It's sold direct only. Order online at truckmattress.com, by phone at 1-800-448-6163 (local 503-655-6163) or by email at sales@namattress.com. The factory is North America Mattress Corp., 11235 SE Hwy 212, Clackamas, OR 97015. It's open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:30pm Pacific.

We found no showrooms, truck-stop chains, dealer network or Amazon or eBay listings (checked September 2026). You can't try a mattress first. You'll size it with the fit guide, the firmness guide and a phone or email chat. Returns need approval, so you're effectively ordering blind.

Delivery, setup and removal

Shipping is free by FedEx ground to the contiguous 48 states, with tracking. Higher-value orders may need a signature. Timing is inconsistent. Product pages say orders leave the warehouse within 5 business days. The delivery page says 2 to 3 weeks, then 5 to 10 business days to arrive. Confirm at checkout.

The mattress ships rolled in a box. Allow 24 to 48 hours to expand. You must open the box and decompress the mattress within 14 days to validate the warranty. The brand doesn't publish in-home setup or an old-mattress removal program, so you'll handle disposal. Alaska, Hawaii and international orders cost extra for shipping, duty and tax.

Sleep trial and returns

The brand doesn't publish a sleep trial or money-back guarantee (checked September 2026). Returns need approval from the service department and an authorization number on the box. The company may charge shipping and restocking fees. It states no refund window or exchange policy.

Refuse damaged shipments or note the damage on the delivery receipt, then claim with the carrier within 15 days. Otherwise you're responsible for the full invoice. Short-shipment claims are 30 days on the warranty page, though the delivery page says 10 days. Measure twice and order once.

Warranty

The standard warranty is 12 months from delivery. It covers defects in material and workmanship for the original buyer. The remedy is replacement parts, at the company's sole discretion. Implied warranties and incidental damages are disclaimed. It's void with improper use, alteration or repairs.

The company may ask you to return the defective product prepaid to the factory. You must decompress the mattress within 14 days of receipt. There's no prorated schedule, extension or transfer. You won't find 10-year or 25-year coverage like mainstream home brands.

TruckMattress.com vs. other brands

This is a truck sleeper specialist, not a home mattress brand. Against Tempur-Pedic, Saatva or Nectar, it wins on exact-fit cab sizes (36 plus custom cuts), prices from $280 and flippable foam. It loses on warranty (12 months versus commonly 10 to 25 years), trials (none versus commonly 90 to 365 nights), showrooms and materials.

Against generic Amazon RV toppers and cut-to-size foam, it costs more. You get US construction, CertiPUR-US documentation, truck-specific sizes and a real support line. Against the thin OEM mattress in a new truck, it's a comfort upgrade. It fits owner-operators, teams and fleets. It doesn't suit shoppers who want a trial, a long warranty or a plush luxury bed.

How we put this review together

We read the brand's own product, policy and warranty pages, then checked retailer listings and public complaint sites like the Better Business Bureau. We last checked everything here in September 2026. Prices and policies change, so confirm them on the seller's page before you buy. You can read more in our methodology and editorial policy.
