Tempur Sealy Hospitality Mattress Review

Tempur Sealy Hospitality is the hotel business arm of Tempur Sealy International Inc. (NYSE: TPX) of Lexington, Kentucky. It isn't a retail brand. It sells contract hotel mattresses by quote through 17 US plants. The line spans Tempur-Adapt hybrids, Stearns & Foster Haraway, Sealy Posturepedic (including the Kelburn II and Copper II hybrids), Sealy Foam and Essentials. A 10-year limited warranty backs it. As a home shopper, you can't buy direct or see prices, though a guest-purchase inquiry exists.

Checked September 2026 against the brand's own pages and public listings. We haven't sleep-tested these mattresses, so treat this as a buyer's summary of what the brand publishes.

Which mattress suits your sleep needs?

Side sleepers should start with pillowtop, Euro pillowtop, plush hybrid or TEMPUR-Adapt soft and medium options. That covers Kelburn II, Copper II, Decorah Soft, Gaffney, Haraway and Bremen. Back sleepers can look at medium and medium-firm hybrids, such as Tempur Adapt Medium Hybrid and TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid. Allis, Evington and Haraway firm suit them too. Stomach sleepers should look at firmer innersprings like Bellinger firm, Decorah firm and Allis or Evington firm.

Heavier guests should look at encased-coil hybrids and PostureTech innersprings with reinforced edges. Those are Copper II, Gaffney, Haraway and Allis. If you sleep hot, the official cooling story is Chill-technology covers, Haraway copper air vents and SMARTCLIMATE covers on Tempur-Adapt. We found no independent cooling tests. For couples, encased-coil hybrids and TEMPUR foam are positioned for motion isolation. Innersprings are positioned for push-back support, edge support and breathability. This is brand-level guidance only. The brand doesn't publish firmness ratings, ILDs or weight limits per model.

Mattress prices and value

The hospitality site doesn't publish mattress prices. Every collection is sold by quote through the Get a Quote and contact forms. So we can't state price bands, size upcharges or sale terms.

The brand pitches value as contract lifecycle value. That means durable parts, hospitality-grade foundations, staggered deliveries that protect occupancy and 17 US manufacturing centers. It's not a retail price-to-features ratio. Retail Tempur-Pedic, Sealy Posturepedic and Stearns & Foster models sell elsewhere. But they're different models, and you can't use them as price proxies for these contract builds.

What are the mattresses made of?

The official pages list TEMPUR material comfort layers in Tempur-Adapt foam and hybrids. Kelburn II and Copper II use SealyCushion Extra Soft Foam. Posturepedic and Haraway use high-density gel-infused foams with extra foam in the center third. The innersprings are supportive, twice-tempered and encased-coil, including PostureTech coils, with foam-encased edges.

Covers are premium knits with Chill Technology. Haraway adds copper air vents. Tempur-Adapt has the SMARTCLIMATE Dual Cover System with cool-to-touch, moisture-wicking and antimicrobial fabrics. Its covers are removable and washable. Antimicrobial and water-resistant fabrics and no-skid foundation tops run across the line.

The brand doesn't publish full layer stacks, foam densities, coil counts or gauges, or cover fiber content. We found no CertiPUR-US, GOTS, OEKO-TEX or GREENGUARD claims on the hospitality pages (checked September 2026).

How well do the mattresses hold up?

The brand says its mattresses are tested beyond industry standards for hospitality use. It says the innerspring coils show 98% height retention after prolonged use. It pitches high-density foams, twice-tempered coils and hospitality-grade foundations for years of guest satisfaction. Two-sided options let you flip them to extend service life. Those are Bellinger, Albany, Allis and an Elson option.

The backstop is a 10-year limited warranty with a 1.5-inch body-indentation threshold. The defect definitions use 0.75 inch on memory foam. The brand doesn't publish independent durability testing (checked September 2026). We found no RTINGS, Consumer Reports or similar long-term tests of these contract models, so keep brand claims separate from independent evidence.

Customer reviews and complaints

The hospitality pages don't publish star ratings, review counts or guest-review widgets. The brand says Sealy Posturepedic innerspring has the strongest owner satisfaction against competitors. It also says 90% of sleepers gave rave reviews in a national hospitality sleep study. It says Tempur-Pedic and Sealy Foam have exceptionally high consumer owner satisfaction.

Consumer reviews of retail Tempur-Pedic, Sealy and Stearns & Foster exist elsewhere. But they cover different retail models, not these contract builds. The brand doesn't publish complaint themes about delivery or warranty claims on the hospitality side (checked September 2026). The opacity is structural. Hotels buy these contract models, and home shoppers don't rate them.

Where can you try and buy?

Hotels buy through the Tempur Sealy Hospitality sales and customer-service team. They use the Get a Quote and contact-us forms. Buying paths are organized by Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Wyndham, independent hotels and franchise hotels. Hotel guests can try the beds in hotels first. The contact form also has a guest-purchase inquiry path if you want the hotel bed at home.

There's no direct online checkout and no hospitality showroom list. We didn't see a phone number on the pages we checked in September 2026. Sibling retail brands under the same parent are Tempur-Pedic, Sealy, Sealy Posturepedic and Stearns & Foster. They sell through stores and online, and they're similar but not identical to these contract builds.

Delivery, setup and removal

The brand has 17 US manufacturing centers and 24 locations across North America. It describes them as placed for on-time orders. Staggered deliveries help hotels keep rooms occupied while they swap mattresses. The brand doesn't publish shipping method, cost, lead times, minimum order quantities or geographic limits (checked September 2026). They're set in the quote. It also doesn't publish setup, white-glove room placement or old-mattress removal.

The warranty page sets foundation rules. A mattress needs continuous support from a matching foundation or equivalent on a suitable frame. Full, full XL, queen and king sets need a rigid center support and at least five legs.

Sleep trial and returns

The hospitality site doesn't publish a home sleep trial, return process, exchange policy or restocking fees (checked September 2026). These are contract sales handled through quotes and the sales team. They aren't online home-trial checkouts.

If you buy a hotel bed through the guest-purchase inquiry path, you'd get whatever terms are quoted at purchase. Those terms aren't published on the pages we checked.

Warranty

A 10-year limited warranty runs from the date of purchase. It continues from the original purchase date if the mattress is repaired or replaced. During normal wear it covers torn handles and fabric tears at handles, but only if you didn't use the handles to move the mattress. It covers loose, broken or protruding coils and wires. It covers body indentations of 1.5 inches or more. The defect definitions add 0.75 inch or more on memory foam, tape blow-out, helical spin-out, a smell that doesn't fade and poor craftsmanship. Foundation defects are covered too. Those include split wood frames (except abuse), squeaks, rattles, bent or loose beams or center rails, and loose or broken module wire.

It excludes mattress fabric, border wires bent after delivery and damage from improper frames. It also excludes used, as-is or floor-model bedding, bed height, comfort preference, indentations under 1.5 inches, abuse, transport costs and sheet fit. It's valid only for the original purchaser with the law-tag label. Tempur Sealy can repair, replace with equal or higher value materials, or refund. Unsanitary products are excluded. A Mattress Care Guide is available on the warranty page.

Tempur Sealy Hospitality vs. other brands

Against Serta Hospitality (Serta Simmons Bedding's Endurance Series), Tempur Sealy wins on brand halo. Guests know Tempur-Pedic, Sealy and Stearns & Foster from home. It also wins on plant scale, with 17 US centers. Both are quote-only with no published prices or home trials. So neither wins on transparency. Against Simmons and Beautyrest Hospitality, Tempur Sealy counters with TEMPUR material and Chill and SMARTCLIMATE cooling. Beautyrest leans on its own pocketed-coil contract lines. Neither publishes full contract build sheets, so a spec-for-spec comparison isn't possible.

Against retail Sealy Posturepedic, Tempur-Pedic and Stearns & Foster home lines, the hospitality builds win on contract features. Those are no-skid tops, handles, washable covers, staggered delivery and franchise approvals. But they lose for home shoppers on transparency. Retail lines publish prices, trials, reviews and specs. Against budget contract suppliers, Tempur Sealy wins on brand recognition and its warranty headline. It will likely lose on bid price, so get competing quotes.

How we put this review together

We read the brand's own product, policy and warranty pages, then checked retailer listings and public complaint sites like the Better Business Bureau. We last checked everything here in September 2026. Prices and policies change, so confirm them on the seller's page before you buy. You can read more in our methodology and editorial policy.
