Its 17-model lineup spans the CORE, CopperWELL, Reflex and Engage families in foam and hybrid builds. You'll find medium to medium-firm feels, CertiPUR-US foams, and copper and airflow claims. Which mattress suits your sleep needs?
If you sleep on your side, look at the CORE, CopperWELL Hybrid, Reflex Elite and Engage Elite plush for shoulder and hip cushioning. If you sleep on your back, try the CORE medium-firm, CopperWELL 12-inch, Reflex and Reflex Hybrid, or the Engage 12-inch firm. If you sleep on your stomach, stick to the firmer Reflex 11-inch and Engage 12-inch. Avoid the plush Elite if you weigh over 130 to 230 lbs.
If you're heavier, pick a hybrid over all-foam for support and airflow. If you sleep hot, start with the CopperWELL and Hybrid versions. If you share your bed, hybrids balance edge and motion. If you have back pain, start with the Reflex spinal-support line.
Mattress prices and value
The homepage shows the CopperWELL starting at $799, the Reflex at $1,299 and the Engage at $2,199.99. The brand does not publish CORE street pricing or full Twin to Cal King grids (checked September 2026). It also doesn't publish model-by-size pricing.
Promos include a first-buyer code, WELCOME10, for ten percent off. The homepage also advertises 0 percent APR on orders of $50-plus. It's mid to premium online performance pricing. CORE is the best value, and Engage Elite is the premium pick.
What are the mattresses made of?
The brand markets these as US-designed and assembled recovery bedding. They use CertiPUR-US certified low-emission foams. Channeled and zoned comfort foams aim to move air and relieve pressure where you need it. CopperWELL has copper infusion for heat removal and freshness. Covers are polyester-nylon, made to wick heat and moisture. Hybrid versions add encased coils.
The brand does not publish full top-to-bottom layer thicknesses, densities, coil counts or cover compositions by model (checked September 2026).
How well do the mattresses hold up?
The foams carry a 15-year limited warranty against defects and qualifying sag. That suggests mid to long use with proper support and a protector. Normal softening and slower bounce-back are excluded. Sleep Foundation scored the Core's durability 5.5 out of 10, edge 6 out of 10 and temperature 4.5 out of 10.
The brand does not publish long-term sag rates, coil fatigue or cover durability by model (checked September 2026).
Customer reviews and complaints
Sleep Foundation rates the Molecule Core 7.2 out of 10 overall. That's pressure 7, motion 7, edge 6, durability 5.5, temperature 4.5 and ease 4.5. It praises side-sleeper comfort and targeted relief for active lifestyles.
The critiques are modest cooling and a weak edge. Back sleepers over 230 lbs may sink too much at the hips. Stomach sleepers over 130 lbs may sink at the midsection. The brand does not publish BBB, Trustpilot or retailer rating counts, or a complaint breakdown (checked September 2026).
Where can you try and buy?
You can buy direct at moleculesleep.com. It sells mattresses, a topper, pillows, sheets and an adjustable frame. You may be able to try one in person through the Stockist store locator and the Become A Retailer showroom program. The brand does not publish an exact store list or retail model availability (checked September 2026).
An Amazon brand storefront and third-party marketplace listings are reported. The brand does not publish the current assortment or seller terms. Third-party purchases follow that seller's terms.
Delivery, setup and removal
The brand advertises Free Shipping and Returns. The homepage says transport is complimentary on purchases above $100. Mattresses ship compressed and rolled in a box, and they expand after you open them.
The brand does not publish delivery times, Alaska and Hawaii surcharges, in-home setup, white-glove options or old-mattress removal and recycling terms (checked September 2026).
Sleep trial and returns
Mattresses bought Nov. 1, 2021 and later qualify for between 30 and 100 nights from delivery. You must keep the bed 30 nights before you can start a return. The limit is one bedding return per shopper, residence, transaction and shipping location. The process is donation-based. You don't ship it back. You donate the bed to a verified 501c3 charity and send an image of the charity receipt. Start by emailing support@onmolecule.com. After approval, your refund equals the purchase price minus promos.
Toppers and bedding accessories qualify within 30 nights, and one accessories order is eligible. Clearance and final-sale items are excluded. The Adjustable Bed Frame is final sale. It can't be returned, exchanged or refunded. The brand does not publish exchange steps or restocking fees (checked September 2026).
Warranty
The 15-year limited mattress warranty runs from the purchase date. It's for the first buyer through the official site or an approved seller only, and it's non-transferable. It covers foam defects in material and workmanship. It also covers sag over 1.5 inches for quilted or tufted tops and 0.75 inch for flat tops. The fix is repair or replacement, at Molecule's option, with comparable or better materials. You get one swap only.
It excludes feel preference, odor, mold and mildew, cosmetic textile flaws, minor dips and shipping costs. It also excludes misuse, wrong support, floor use, display and resale items, and handling damage. You need sturdy support and a stain-resistant pad. Queen, King and Cal King need a rigid center bridge with 5 legs, or 5 hardwood slats with a center leg. Slats must be at least 3 inches wide and no more than 4 inches apart. Plywood, bunkie boards and plastic liners aren't enough.
Opening the main zipper or removing the cover voids coverage, except the washable top panel. File your claim with the retailer first, then support@onmolecule.com. You'll need forms, your sales and packing slip, and the law tags. You pay freight, and photos may be requested. The FAQ notes restricted terms of 5 years for toppers and 10 years for adjustable bases.
Molecule vs. other brands
Against Casper and Nectar, you get similar online foam and hybrid choice, a 100-night trial and boxed delivery. Molecule leans on athlete recovery plus copper and airflow messaging. Casper and Nectar lean on broader comfort and value lines. Against Purple, Molecule uses foam and coils instead of a gel grid. Purple is stronger on bounce and cooling feel.
Against Tempur-Pedic, Molecule is a lighter, lower-priced performance foam hybrid next to denser premium memory foam. Against Bear, the closest recovery-focused rival, compare cooling claims, firmness fit and the trial and warranty fine print by your weight and sleep position.
