Delarkin Mattress Review

Delarkin is an RV specialty brand. It hand-builds custom foam RV mattresses in South Carolina for odd sizes, bunks, Class C cabs, Murphy beds and fold-outs. The lineup includes Crossroads, Summit, Oasis and Outback, with washable cotton covers, a 90-day trial and a 10-year warranty. Shipping is included in the price. It's best for RVers who need an exact fit. It's not for you if you want coils, latex or in-store testing. Prices run from budget to premium custom.

Checked September 2026 against the brand's own pages and public listings. We haven't sleep-tested these mattresses, so treat this as a buyer's summary of what the brand publishes.

Which mattress suits your sleep needs?

Side sleepers can choose the Oasis with a soft build, or the Summit for balanced medium cushioning. Back and stomach sleepers can choose the Oasis built firm, or the Summit for medium support. Both sit over polyurethane support foam. Couples can choose the Oasis dual-zone half-and-half, or call about split Summit options.

Hot sleepers can choose the Oasis with optional gel infusion and breathable textiles, or the Summit or Outback with cotton covers. The brand doesn't publish active cooling. For a small RV, bunk or fold-out, choose the 4.5-inch Crossroads Froli Compatible. If you're on a tight budget or use the bed only now and then, choose the 6-inch Outback. The brand doesn't publish firmness numbers or third-party sleep-position testing (checked September 2026).

Mattress prices and value

The Oasis RV starts at $1,349.00, with the Texas King at $4,660, the Wyoming King at $7,859 and the Alaskan King at $9,109. The Summit RV starts at $956.00. The Crossroads starts at about $450.00. The Outback product page says Call For Pricing at 1-800-461-3907, though the homepage showed From $305.00, so it appears to be price on request.

Shipping is included in the price, and Affirm financing is offered at checkout. The Outback page offers a 30-day trade-in upgrade. You pay the model price gap plus delivery. Custom cuts, hinges and oversized kings cost more. The brand doesn't publish coupons or bundle pricing (checked September 2026).

What are the mattresses made of?

All models are all-foam. The brand doesn't advertise coils or latex. The Crossroads is a 4.5-inch thin foam build designed to pair with a Froli base, and the layer stack isn't itemized. The Summit has three layers: a U.S. memory-foam top over polyurethane support foam, with a premium 100% cotton zipper cover you can wash.

The Oasis is a hand-crafted memory-foam hybrid with American conforming foam over synthetic support foam. It has optional gel infusion, breathable textiles and a washable cotton zip cover. It also offers custom thickness, cuts, hinges and dual-zone builds. The Outback has two layers of breathable foam, with U.S. contouring foam over polyurethane, a cotton or cotton-blend zipper cover and a listed 6-inch depth. Everything is made by hand in a family-owned South Carolina shop. The brand doesn't publish certifications like CertiPUR-US, GOTS or OEKO-TEX (checked September 2026).

How well do the mattresses hold up?

The brand says the beds are engineered for 10-plus years of regular use, matching the 10-year warranty. Roll-packed delivery keeps the foam compressed briefly, which helps in tight RV doors. The thin Crossroads depends on a Froli base or solid flat support. The Summit, Oasis and Outback need a sturdy flat support.

The warranty covers visible sag over 1 inch not caused by a weak base. It also covers foam splitting or cracking under normal use, and factory zipper faults. It excludes softening over time, firmness preference, cold-weather firming, stains, misuse and commercial use. The brand doesn't publish independent long-term durability testing (checked September 2026).

Customer reviews and complaints

The only ratings are on the brand's own site, and the volume is very low. All are 5.00 out of 5. The Crossroads has 1 review. The Summit has 1 (very good quality, August 2020). The Oasis has 2, praising comfort and quick delivery with phenomenal service (August and November 2020). The Outback has 1, calling it fantastic for a spare bedroom (May 2022). Praise centers on comfort, custom fit and customer service.

The brand doesn't publish third-party review volume on Amazon, Google, BBB, Trustpilot, Mattress Clarity, Sleepopolis or GoodBed. We couldn't confirm any complaint pattern (checked September 2026).

Where can you try and buy?

Buy direct at delarkin.com only. The brand lists no retail or showroom network. Call for a consultation at 1-800-461-3907, Monday to Sunday, 9 AM to 9 PM. The family shop is in West Columbia, South Carolina. An online finder quiz helps with irregular layouts.

The brand doesn't publish availability on Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, Costco or mattress chains (checked September 2026). It doesn't offer a try-in-store program.

Delivery, setup and removal

Beds are made to order. Allow 15 days to build, ship and deliver to your door. Smaller models are vacuum-sealed and shipped in a box. Larger or oversized ones may ship by freight. They arrive compressed and rolled for easy RV move-in.

Shipping is included in the price, and no separate fee schedule is published. All mattresses ship with a signature required, and you can ask by email after ordering to waive it. The carrier is responsible after handoff, and delivery dates aren't guaranteed. For transit damage, photograph it before you refuse delivery. The brand doesn't publish white-glove setup or old-mattress removal (checked September 2026).

Sleep trial and returns

The Summit, Oasis and Outback pages state a 90 Day Sleep Trial Guarantee. If you're dissatisfied, you can exchange models or return for a full refund. The Outback page also states a 30-day trade-in policy, where you cover the price gap plus delivery.

The warranty page says Delarkin decides who pays return shipping on claims, and proof of purchase is required. The original start date carries over, except for paid upgrades. The brand doesn't publish restocking, pickup or return-label fees, the trial start date or Canada trial terms (checked September 2026). Call 1-800-461-3907 before you order to get return steps in writing.

Warranty

The warranty lasts 10 years from the buy date, for the original buyer while owned. It applies to Delarkin-built beds bought direct or from approved sellers and kept in the mainland U.S. or Canada. Trade accounts get 3 years. It needs home use on a sturdy flat support, with a receipt. It covers visible indentation over 1 inch not caused by a weak base, foam splitting or cracking, and factory zipper faults. Multi-part systems replace only the failed part.

It excludes comfort preference, gradual softening, cold firming, burns, cuts, tears, liquid, stains, misuse and commercial use. It also excludes unauthorized sellers and second-hand, open-box, as-is or returned units. Delarkin chooses repair or swap. The warrantor is Delarkin LLC in West Columbia, SC, at 1-800-461-3907. The full text is at delarkin.com/warranty.

Delarkin vs. other brands

Against mainstream online brands like Saatva, Tempur-Pedic and Purple, Delarkin is RV-specialty custom foam only. It has no coils or latex, a tiny review base, phone-guided sizing and shipping-included custom pricing. Mainstream brands offer larger trials, stores and third-party testing.

Against RV specialists like Tochta, RecPro and Mattress Insider, it overlaps on short queens, custom cuts, Froli-compatible thin builds and washable cotton covers. Its differences are the South Carolina hand build, the split-firmness Oasis and the 90-day trial with a 10-year warranty. The brand doesn't publish direct cooling or density comparisons. If exact fit matters most, compare measured sizes, thickness and base needs before price.
