Snuggle-Pedic Mattress Review

Snuggle-Pedic is Relief-Mart's US-made memory foam specialist. It's best known for shredded-foam pillows and a small mattress line: the Original Hybrid, Deluxe and Supreme Plush. Last published prices ran from about $399.99 to $1,999.99. The headline terms are a 120-night trial, free firmness customizations and a 20-year warranty. One caveat matters. The official store is password-gated before a relaunch as of September 2026, so you can't confirm current prices or availability. Check directly with Relief-Mart before you plan a purchase.

Checked September 2026 against the brand's own pages and public listings. We haven't sleep-tested these mattresses, so treat this as a buyer's summary of what the brand publishes.

Which mattress suits your sleep needs?

If you're a side sleeper, you're steered to the Deluxe (medium) or the Supreme Plush (medium-soft, with its best pressure relief). Back and stomach sleepers are pointed to the Original Hybrid or Original Firm for a firmer, more buoyant feel. Combination sleepers get the Flex-Support design, which claims easy movement and low partner motion. The Deluxe is the all-round pick.

The brand cites a 400 lb weight limit for the Supreme Plush and offers special reinforcement on request. Every model has the patented Airflow Transfer System and the Kool-Flow bamboo cover. The brand claims it's 100 times more breathable than designs with only holes or channels. All mattresses flex on any adjustable base, and the Supreme Plush adds Split King and Split California King. Guidance is brand-level only. The brand doesn't publish per-model test data, foam density or ILD figures (checked September 2026).

Mattress prices and value

These are the last published prices from archived copies of the brand's site from 2019 to 2022. The live store is password-gated as of September 2026. The Original ran from $399.99 in 2021, with regular prices from $749.99. The Deluxe ran Twin $699.99, Full $899.99 and Queen $999.99. The Supreme Plush ran Full $1,399.99, Full XL $1,449.99, Queen $1,499.99, King $1,799.99 and California King $1,799.00. Its Split King was $1,999.99 and Split California King $1,999.00. The older 10-inch mattress ran Twin $649.99 to King and California King $1,199.99 in 2019. A third-party review saw the queen at around $799 on Amazon.

Promotions were constant, advertised as up to $500, $600, $800, $850 or $950 off. Treat the crossed-out regular prices as marketing anchors. At these prices, you'd get US factory-direct foam, a 120-night trial and a 20-year warranty. That undercuts Tempur-Pedic-class foam. The brand doesn't publish a price-match policy or a current 2026 price list (checked September 2026).

What are the mattresses made of?

These are all-foam mattresses with no coils. A softer Snuggle-Flex memory foam comfort layer sits over a firmer, channeled high-density base. The Supreme Plush adds a 4-inch gel-infused top. The Airflow Transfer System uses thousands of small surface holes linked to airflow channels. The Kool-Flow cover is micro-vented: 43 percent viscose of bamboo, 56.4 percent polyester and 0.6 percent spandex. It unzips, so layers can be swapped for firmness changes.

You'll see the brand claim CertiPUR-US certified foam and a GREENGUARD Gold certified mattress. It cites very low VOC off-gassing under 0.5 parts per million, and says there's no formaldehyde, phthalates, PBDE flame retardants, mercury or heavy metals. It also claims Made in USA Certified in 2012, with foam, fabric and cover sewn in California. There's no organic GOTS or GOLS line, and the brand doesn't publish foam densities or ILD ratings (checked September 2026).

How well do the mattresses hold up?

The warranty is 20 years with a 0.75 inch sag threshold, half the 1.5 inch industry norm the brand criticizes. There's no proration for the first 10 years. The zipper cover lets Relief-Mart replace single foam layers instead of the whole bed. The brand cites 18 to 19 years of mattress manufacturing and thousands of mattresses sold.

Reviews on the brand's own pages report no sags and multi-year satisfaction, but those are curated. We found no independent durability testing from RTINGS, Consumer Reports or GoodBed (checked September 2026). The brand also doesn't publish compression-test data.

Customer reviews and complaints

The brand claims the number one rating among verified Amazon shoppers. Its 2019 site cited a 4.8 average across ResellerRatings, Trustpilot and Amazon. It also claims more than 15,000 five-star Amazon ratings, mostly for pillows, and an A+ BBB rating for 18 years on its 2020 site.

A Sleep Sherpa review, now hosted at Yawnder, cites an Amazon listing with 95 reviews and 93 percent five-star. It calls the bed softer-leaning, cooler than most foam and good value. That article used specs and owner feedback, not a full in-person test. It lists a 90-night guarantee against the brand's 120-night trial, so confirm the term. BBB, Trustpilot and SiteJabber complaint data wasn't available when we checked in September 2026. Reviews on the brand's site mention a brief off-gassing odor and about a week of adjustment. Firmness mismatch is fixed with free layer exchanges.

Where can you try and buy?

The official site, snugglepedic.com, is password-protected before a relaunch as of September 2026. You can only sign up for a newsletter, so you can't browse or buy. Amazon has been the main retailer, and mattress listings were archived as recently as June 2025. The brand warns you to buy only units sold by Relief-Mart, Inc., to keep trial, warranty and customization coverage.

Archived dealer pages list the SelectaBed showroom in Agoura Hills, California (1-800-667-1969), Sleep Sherpa in Chicago and Austin, and the Malibu Mattress Store in Malibu. There's also a dealer collection in Edina, Minnesota. The brand doesn't publish a current stockist list while the site is gated.

Delivery, setup and removal

Shipping is free in the US. The mattress ships rolled and vacuum-sealed in a box. The brand says it reaches you in about 2 to 5 days after a 24 to 48 hour lead time. You cut the wrap, set it on the foundation and it expands within minutes. Boxes are heavy, so you'll want a second person.

The brand doesn't publish white-glove delivery, in-home setup or old-mattress removal (checked September 2026). Returned mattresses are donated or recycled. Any solid, level, firm surface works as a foundation. Slats should be no more than 4 inches apart. The brand says the 20-year warranty is void without a proper foundation.

Sleep trial and returns

You get a 120-night (four-month) trial. Returns get a full product refund with no restocking fee. Return shipping is free in the US. You need an RMA number from Relief-Mart, Inc. first, and the mattress must be in the United States.

Exchanges and customizations are free in the US, including firmness changes through the zipper cover. International customers still get customizations, but shipping can be costly, so contact the company. One older third-party listing mentioned a 90-night guarantee, so confirm the current term.

Warranty

The limited warranty runs 20 years. Years 1 to 10 are non-prorated, and Relief-Mart covers parts, labor and materials. Years 11 to 20 are pro-rated. The brand's example is an 11th-year defect on a $600 mattress, costing you $30 plus one-way shipping. A sag of 0.75 inch or more is covered. Manufacturing defects and foam splits under normal use are covered too.

You won't be covered for tears, punctures, stains, smoke, urine or a bad foundation. It's not transferable, and only the original buyer from an authorized seller is covered. Claims need an RMA number, and the company pays all shipping in the first year. It's governed by California law, with binding AAA arbitration. Toppers have a 10-year limited warranty, and pillows a 20-year non-prorated one.

Snuggle-Pedic vs. other brands

The brand published a Tempur-Pedic comparison page. It undercuts Tempur-Pedic on price and claims a cooler surface, a longer trial and free customization. Tempur-Pedic has brand recognition, more models and in-store try-outs. A review on the brand's site calls it cheaper and softer than Casper and Tuft and Needle. It also runs pillow comparison pages against Puffy, MyPillow and Coop.

It works on any adjustable base, but it has no smart-air system like Sleep Number. It wins on price, US factory-direct build, the cooling patent, trial length and warranty. It loses on range (about three mattresses), published specs, haul-away and retail presence. The store is also gated now.

How we put this review together

We read the brand's own product, policy and warranty pages, then checked retailer listings and public complaint sites like the Better Business Bureau. We last checked everything here in September 2026. Prices and policies change, so confirm them on the seller's page before you buy. You can read more in our methodology and editorial policy.
