Slumber Solutions Mattress Review
Slumber Solutions is the factory-direct mattress label of Future Foam, a US foam maker since 1958. You'll get CertiPUR-US certified, fiberglass-free and latex-free foam mattresses built in Archdale, North Carolina. Four core models span about $208 to $899. Which mattress suits your sleep needs?
Back sleepers can try the Value (medium-firm) or Select for resilient support that keeps you aligned. Ebony gives a deeper, traditional memory-foam contour. Side sleepers should look at the Ebony in 12 or 14 inches, or the Select, for pressure relief at the shoulders and hips. Thicker picks suit heavier frames. Stomach sleepers should choose the Value or the firmer side of The University, not the plusher Ebony.
If you sleep hot, look at the Ebony with activated-carbon Ebonite foam. The Select or Hybrid with NRGel resilient foam also works, as does the Value with cooling gel foam. All use breathable knit covers and CertiPUR-US foams with no latex or fiberglass. Couples should consider the Hybrid, with pocketed coils and perimeter support. Any model isolates motion, but foam edges aren't reinforced like the Hybrid perimeter.
For kids, dorms and guest rooms, the Value or The University keep cost and weight low. If you use an adjustable base, all the foams are compatible. Ebony and Select Comfort Sets bundle the mattress and base.
Mattress prices and value
The Value Mattress ($208 to $339) and The University ($208 to $255) are the budget tier. The Hybrid ($329 to $579) sits in the lower midrange. The Select ($379 to $899) and Ebony ($429 to $899) span the midrange by size and thickness. Ebony Comfort Sets run $999 to $2,159, and Select Comfort Sets run $949 to $2,159.
Promotions advertise up to $200 off mattresses and up to $400 off comfort sets. All mattresses include standard free shipping in the contiguous US. Affirm financing starts from 0 percent APR for 3 or 6 months. You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express. Sales tax is collected where it applies.
The price per inch is strong against online bed-in-a-box rivals, given the US manufacturing and CertiPUR-US foams. But only the Select and Ebony carry the 100-night trial. Also, a warranty replacement ends your coverage.
What are the mattresses made of?
The covers are soft knit fabric, a polyester, rayon and Lycra blend, on the models the FAQ describes. Comfort foams are Ebonite activated-carbon memory foam (Ebony), NRGel resilient memory foam (Select, Hybrid) and cooling gel memory foam (Value). All foams are CertiPUR-US certified and made in the USA. The brand says they're latex-free and fiberglass-free, with no filler foams.
Support comes from high-density polyurethane performance foam and durable foam bases. The brand publishes densities of 1.8 lb per cubic foot for support layers and 3.0 lb per cubic foot for memory foam. The Hybrid adds a 6-inch pocketed coil unit with stabilizing perimeter support. You can use a floor, slatted base, box spring, platform or adjustable base. The brand discourages mattress pads, since they dull the memory-foam feel.
How well do the mattresses hold up?
Most durability signals come from the brand. It cites body-impression-resistant builds, 1.8 lb support foam, 3.0 lb memory foam and no filler foams that break down. It makes and inspects every mattress at its Archdale, North Carolina facility. The warranty covers lasting dips of 1 inch or greater with no load. That suggests you should expect smaller impressions as normal wear.
There's no published independent durability testing, and no coil counts or foam IFD figures. Extra thickness (up to 14 inches on Ebony and Select) adds comfort material, not a second firmness. To protect your warranty, don't remove or wash the cover. Spot-clean by blotting with mild detergent and cool water. Rotate periodically, unbox within about 72 hours, and keep the receipt and a suitable support.
Customer reviews and complaints
On-site reviews are short positive testimonials quoted on product pages. They include multi-year comfort praise for the Ebony-style memory foam and back-support praise for a 14-inch king. The Reviews page had no review content when we checked. The brand doesn't publish independent customer reviews or complaints (checked September 2026). We found no brand-specific mattress listings, ratings or review counts on Amazon search results. We couldn't verify BBB profile data.
Common bed-in-a-box complaints are worth checking before you buy. They include firmness surprises, heat, off-gassing odor, edge-support limits on all-foam models, and delivery or return friction. We couldn't tie any of them to this brand. If you want verified feedback, call 833-753-3799 or email the brand and ask for review references.
Where can you try and buy?
You can buy online direct at slumber.solutions only. We found no brand stores, showrooms or retail partners as of September 2026. Parent company Future Foam cuts, sews and ships the mattresses from Archdale, North Carolina. You can't try one in a store. The closest option is the 100-night trial on the Select and Ebony.
Support is at 833-SLEEPZZ (833-753-3799), Monday to Friday 8AM to 5PM EST. You can also use the email address, website contact form, Facebook or Instagram. Warranty claims go to Future Foam's claims team at 336-861-8095 with proof of purchase.
Delivery, setup and removal
Standard shipping is free on all mattresses in the contiguous United States only. The brand doesn't ship to US territories or internationally. Orders are usually processed within 48 business hours. They arrive in 3 to 7 business days with tracking. The mattress comes bed-in-a-box style in a handled cardboard carton. The Value ships compressed.
No signature is required. Drivers leave the package at the usual large-item spot or try again the next day if it's unsafe. If you live in an apartment, alert building staff, since refused deliveries can't be reversed. The brand doesn't offer old-mattress removal or white-glove setup. In California, it doesn't provide the legally described no-charge take-back service. California orders proceed only where no used-mattress pickup is required. Unbox within about 72 hours.
Sleep trial and returns
The site advertises a 100-night trial, but the trial page covers only the Select and Ebony. It's for regular home use on orders placed at slumber.solutions. Adjustable bases and other models are excluded. You sleep on it at least 30 nights. If you're unhappy, you donate it to a local charity and get a receipt. Or you dispose of it at a recycling center and get a disposal receipt. The brand then refunds the full retail price minus sales tax. You must claim after 30 nights and no later than the 100th day. It doesn't refund financing interest.
The brand doesn't publish a formal exchange program. If you want another model, you'd take the refund and place a new order. It doesn't publish restocking or pickup fees, since you handle donation or disposal and keep the receipts. Start a claim at 833-753-3799 or by email with order details and receipts.
Warranty
You get a 10-year limited warranty from the original retail purchase date. It's for the first buyer, personal home use, and purchases from authorized sellers used in the United States (the continental US plus DC). It covers manufacturing defects in normal home use. That means lasting impressions of 1 inch or greater, measured unloaded from the upper edge and not caused by unsuitable support. You'll need support that can bear the sleeper, mattress and base weight.
It excludes natural aging, cover textiles, comfort or firmness changes, soft spots under 1 inch and minor build variations. It also excludes moisture, odor, unboxing delays, yellowing, stains, misuse and return shipping costs. Call 336-861-8095 or email Future Foam's claims team promptly with your receipt. Don't return the product without approval. You pay the return freight.
The fix is a replacement, or a comparable substitute if the model is unavailable. If you decline the replacement, the brand owes you nothing further. Coverage ends with the replacement and doesn't carry over. Adjustable bases have a separate 1-year limited warranty on swappable parts, with repair or replacement as the only remedy and no refunds or returns.
Slumber Solutions vs. other brands
Slumber Solutions is a factory-direct label of an established US foam maker, Future Foam, in business since 1958. It manufactures and inspects in-house in North Carolina. It uses CertiPUR-US foams and fiberglass-free, latex-free builds at budget prices. Typical online memory-foam value brands can't say that.
The trade-offs are real. You get a single comfort option per model, while some rivals let you pick a firmness. The 100-night trial covers only the Select and Ebony, while many competitors trial every model. Shipping is contiguous-US standard box only, with no white glove or removal. There's little published third-party review volume to cross-shop.
Price-wise, it undercuts many bed-in-a-box flagships, especially the Value and Hybrid. The Ebony and Select compete with midrange gel and responsive-foam hybrids. Cross-shop US-made value memory-foam and budget hybrid lines with CertiPUR-US certification. Check trial scope, thickness pricing and edge construction before you compare.
How we put this review together
We read the brand's own product, policy and warranty pages, then checked retailer listings and public complaint sites like the Better Business Bureau. We last checked everything here in September 2026. Prices and policies change, so confirm them on the seller's page before you buy. You can read more in our methodology and editorial policy.
