Magic Sleeper Mattress Review

Magic Sleeper is a family-owned mattress retailer in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, open since 1979. It isn't a manufacturer. Its listings are tagged Ashley Sleep and Sierra Sleep By Ashley, so it resells Ashley beds. The catalog covers the firm Anniversary 12-inch innerspring and the plush Chime Elite 2.0 Twin memory foam bed. You can buy online with free shipping or in the store. Specs, trial and return terms aren't published, so call before you buy.

If you're a back sleeper or buying for a kid or teen, and you want firm innerspring support, look at the Anniversary Edition Firm 12-inch. If you sleep on your side or stomach and want plush Twin memory foam, try the Chime Elite 2.0 Twin Plush.

If you need other sizes, medium feels, verified cooling, motion isolation, edge support or plus-size support ratings, the details aren't published (checked September 2026). If you want to buy direct from a manufacturer or get a stated trial, it's not a fit here.

The Anniversary Edition Firm page shows $839 sale against $1,089.17 (Save 23%) across Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King and Cal King. Earlier tracking showed lower from-prices (Twin $399, Queen $539, King $799), so street prices move. The Chime Elite 2.0 Twin Plush shows $589 sale against $758.11 (Save 22%). Other Chime listings include the 10-inch Chime Elite 2.0 Firm from $469 and the 14-inch Chime Elite 2.0 Cal King from $1,259. Chime memory foam, hybrid and innerspring models run $259 to $419.

It's typical Ashley and Sierra Sleep budget-to-mid pricing with free shipping. Without published densities, coil counts or trial terms, you can't verify the value against rivals that publish specs.

The Anniversary Edition Firm has a traditional fabric cover, a gel memory foam comfort layer, a high-density support foam base and individually wrapped coils. It's 12 inches tall in all sizes and sold fully assembled.

The Chime Elite 2.0 Twin Plush has a Micro Cool cover, high-density response memory foam, transition foam and green tea base foam. The 12-inch Twin weighs 48 lb and ships as a bed-in-a-box. Foundation and box spring are sold separately. Foam densities, coil counts, coil gauge and certifications aren't published (checked September 2026).

We found no brand-published durability testing, foam density figures or long-term owner data for either model. The Chime Elite 2.0 Twin Plush carries a 10-year non-prorated warranty, which sets the expected service window.

Longevity normally tracks coil gauge and foam density, and neither is published here. So you can't judge how well they hold up beyond the stated warranty (checked September 2026).

We couldn't find aggregated third-party ratings, review counts or complaint themes for these listings (checked September 2026). Google and Yelp pages weren't available to us. The storefront shows no on-page customer reviews for either model.

Treat buyer sentiment as unknown, and verify current ratings before you buy.

You can buy online at magicsleepermattress.com, with free FedEx Ground shipping after a 3 to 7 business day make time. You can also visit the store at 105 E 4th St, Pottstown, PA 19464. Hours are Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm, and Sunday is closed. The phone is 610-327-2322.

The store serves Montgomery, Berks and Chester counties and the wider Philadelphia area. The showroom carries 60-plus floor models across 10 labels, so you can try beds side by side. We found no other branches.

Online orders are made in around 3 to 7 business days, then ship free via FedEx Ground. The Chime Elite 2.0 ships in a box and needs about 48 hours to fully expand. Per the storefront, local delivery includes setup and haul-away of the old unit.

The brand doesn't publish threshold, white-glove, setup or old-mattress removal fees (checked September 2026). State recycling fees may apply on some orders.

We couldn't confirm a sleep-trial length, return window, exchange terms or fee schedule. The storefront lists Comfort Policy, Return Policy and foam-exchange pages by title only (checked September 2026).

The homepage advertises online-brand policy matching, meaning the same trial, warranty and return terms as the brand site. It also advertises a best-price guarantee. Those details are unverified, so call the store at 610-327-2322 before you buy.

Chime Elite 2.0 Twin Plush product tags state a 10-year non-prorated warranty. They warn that pairing the mattress with another brand's foundation may void coverage. We didn't see a warranty length or terms for the Anniversary Edition Firm.

The storefront lists a Warranty Policy page. It advertises extended no-cost coverage upgrades and lifetime coverage on premium tiers. Full terms aren't published (checked September 2026), so read the written warranty before you buy.

Against buying Ashley Sleep or Sierra Sleep direct or from another authorized dealer, Magic Sleeper is a reseller. You should compare the same model's price, trial, return and warranty terms. The store advertises matching online-brand terms and best-price guarantees.

Against direct-to-consumer brands it also carries (Helix, WinkBeds, Brooklyn Bedding, Birch, Leesa, Bear, DreamCloud, Nectar, Puffy, Bedgear), those publish fuller specs, trials and warranties. Against other local Pennsylvania mattress stores, Magic Sleeper offers 60-plus floor models plus custom, RV and commercial sizes.

We read the brand's own product, policy and warranty pages, then checked retailer listings and public complaint sites like the Better Business Bureau. We last checked everything here in September 2026. Prices and policies change, so confirm them on the seller's page before you buy. You can read more in our methodology and editorial policy.
