Jordan Bedding Mattress Review

Jordan Bedding is a factory-direct mattress maker in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It's been at it since 1958. It builds beds by hand in its own plant and sells from its own showroom. The 13-model line runs from value innersprings to Talalay latex, Serene foam and luxury hybrids. Most are two-sided and flippable. Prices run about $225 to $3,020. It's best if you're in Arkansas and want a local build and in-store testing. You won't find a refund trial, and you can't easily shop it from out of state.

Checked September 2026 against the brand's own pages and public listings. We haven't sleep-tested these mattresses, so treat this as a buyer's summary of what the brand publishes.

Which mattress suits your sleep needs?

Side sleepers should look at the plush picks for pressure relief. Those are Heirloom Plush, Ultra Pillow Comfort, Heirloom Memory Foam, the 12-inch Serene, the medium Talalay Latex and the soft Majestic hybrid. The Majestic is aimed at side sleepers and couples.

Back sleepers get a good balance from the medium and medium-firm models. Try Gold Medal, Camelot, Pillow Comfort, Talalay Latex or the 12-inch Serene. The firm Duchess and Orthopedic suit you if you want strict support. Stomach sleepers should look at those two firm models. The Power Edge support resists hammocking.

Hot sleepers can try the Serene foam and Talalay latex models. The maker says they sleep cooler than conventional memory foam, but it doesn't publish independent cooling data. If you're a heavier sleeper, the Power Edge and pocketed-coil two-sided models fit best. The brand does not publish per-weight guidance, height data or weight limits (checked September 2026).

Heirloom Pillow Top is $1,075 to $2,445; Heirloom Memory Foam $1,500 to $2,445; Majestic $2,400 to $3,020.

Sizes run from Twin through Cal King, plus custom sizes. The brand does not publish per-size pricing, foundation add-on pricing or sale discounts (checked September 2026). You can finance with Affirm online, with a real-time decision. In the store, Synchrony offers promotional 0% options.

You're getting a factory-direct Hot Springs build since 1958, mostly two-sided flippable, with 10-year non-prorated warranties (5-year for Camelot). That's a fair local-value story against national mid-tier brands. Thin specs and single-store buying make comparison shopping harder.

What are the mattresses made of?

Innerspring cores include 13.5-gauge Bonnell (Camelot, extended-height Gold Medal) and 13-gauge extended-height Power Edge (Duchess, Orthopedic). Heirloom Plush uses Power Edge pocketed coils, about 950 in a King. Pillow Comfort and Ultra use 15-gauge pocketed coils: 660 Full, 832 Queen, 1024 King. The Majestic uses an edge-to-edge pocketed coil unit with 10 lbs of cotton per side.

Comfort layers include natural cotton padding, fiber pads, convoluted and HD polyfoam, and quilted damask or knit tickings. Ticking color may vary. You'll also find 4-lb viscoelastic memory foam and Carpenter Serene foam. The latex model has 3-inch solid Talalay latex over a 7-inch HD foam base. Foam and latex models have breathable knit covers, and plush models have quilted pillow tops. Matching steel semi-flex foundations come in 5, 7 and 9 inch heights. Foam and latex models are adjustable-base compatible.

The brand does not publish most foam densities, ILDs or Bonnell and Power Edge coil counts (checked September 2026). It also leaves out the latex blend and fire-barrier details. You won't find certifications such as CertiPUR-US, OEKO-TEX or GOTS. The 4-lb memory foam is the exception.

How well do the mattresses hold up?

The durability evidence is the maker's own. All innerspring mattresses are two-sided and flippable, with comfort layers on both sides for even wear. Foam and latex models pair HD foam bases with Serene, memory foam or Talalay latex comfort layers. Most models carry a 10-year non-prorated warranty. Camelot sets carry 5 years. Sag coverage applies to body impressions greater than 1.5 inches.

To keep coverage, you'll need a matching foundation or a solid platform with center support. A queen or king needs 5+ legs or rigid floor-reaching center support, plus 5+ hardwood cross slats. It also must stay sanitary. The brand does not publish independent longevity testing or owner lifespan data (checked September 2026). It says the family has run the business since 1958 and moved to Hot Springs in 1980. It says beds are assembled by hand and individually checked. None of that is independently verified.

Customer reviews and complaints

The on-site testimonials page shows a Facebook Excellent 4.8 badge and a Google Excellent 5.0 badge. Praise includes next-day custom builds, adjustable-bed help, great service, delivery and product, and years of latex ownership. No negative reviews appear in the excerpt, and review counts aren't shown.

The brand does not publish a BBB rating, Yelp rating, per-model ratings or complaint themes (checked September 2026). A single-store operator gets feedback mostly through Google and Facebook store profiles and word of mouth. Model-level reviews are thin. Check current store ratings before you buy.

Where can you try and buy?

You can try and buy at one factory-direct showroom: 4735 Malvern Rd, Hot Springs, AR 71901. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 5:00, and Saturday, 12:30 to 4:30. Call 501-262-1581 or email sales@jordanbedding.com. The online shop has a cart and Affirm checkout. It also takes custom-size orders for RVs, boats and antique frames.

We found no other stores, dealers or marketplace listings. Buying is in the store or direct online from Hot Springs. The business says it's becoming Jordan Mattress and Home, with the same family, building and beds. Confirm current hours and stock before you visit.

Delivery, setup and removal

In Arkansas, Jordan delivers personally from Hot Springs and schedules it after you order. Fees depend on distance. Within 30 miles it's $50. Benton or Arkadelphia is $80. Little Rock, Alexander or North Little Rock is $100. Other zones get a phone quote.

Shipping outside Arkansas can be arranged, with rates that vary by product and location. The brand does not publish lead times, setup or white-glove placement, or old-mattress removal and recycling terms (checked September 2026). Foam models ship unboxed by delivery, not as a bed-in-a-box, so there's no stated expansion wait. Confirm timing, setup and haul-away with the store.

Sleep trial and returns

You won't get a free return-with-refund trial. Instead, a 30-Day Comfort Trial lets you make one exchange to a different Jordan Bedding model. It starts on your delivery or pickup date. The mattress must be clean and undamaged with law tags attached, and you need your receipt. A flat restock charge plus exchange delivery or pickup fees may apply. The maker advises 2 to 3 weeks of adjustment first.

Accessories (pillows, sheets, frames, protectors) can be returned only unopened and unused, in original packaging within 30 days with a receipt. You'll get your refund to the original payment in 5 to 7 business days. Opened bedding is final sale. Foundations, furniture (unless faulty), clearance, custom orders, floor models, as-is goods and abused or soiled items are excluded.

Report defects within 30 days for mattresses and foundations, and within 7 days for furniture. Exchanges need prior approval. Call 501-262-1581 or email sales@jordanbedding.com.

Warranty

Standard coverage is the Jordan Limited 10-Year Non-Prorated Warranty from your purchase date. Camelot sets get 5 years. The maker repairs or replaces at its option, and that doesn't extend the term. It covers manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials, excluding covers. That includes loose, broken or protruding wires and body impressions greater than 1.5 inches. It also covers broken support elements, including foundation sag if the bed was always on a matching foundation.

You must be the original purchaser with the original store receipt. You need a matching foundation bought at the same time, or a solid platform with good center support. A queen or king needs 5+ legs or rigid floor-reaching center support, plus 5+ hardwood cross slats. The bed must be sanitary, and heavily soiled bedding may be refused.

Exclusions include as-is goods, comfort or height preference, stains, soiling and burns, bent border rods from moving, and transport fees. Non-defective companion pieces and hotel, motel or institutional use are also excluded. Claims go through the selling store. If it's unreachable, contact Jordan Brothers Bedding Inc., 4735 Malvern Ave, Hot Springs, AR 71901, or sales@jordanbedding.com.

Jordan Bedding vs. other brands

Against Original Mattress Factory, the story is similar: hand-built, two-sided innerspring value. Jordan counters with Serene foam, Talalay latex and Arkansas showroom depth. Original Mattress Factory publishes a broader footprint, so compare written build sheets. Against Verlo and Denver Mattress, you'll find a similar in-store fitting and local-build pitch. Jordan is a single Hot Springs plant, while they have multi-store networks.

Against direct-to-consumer hybrids like Saatva, Helix and Casper, Jordan wins on local try-before-you-buy and flippable two-sided builds. Those rivals win on published specs, free trials and nationwide shipping. Against Sealy, Serta and Beautyrest, Jordan wins on local-build transparency and non-prorated warranty headlines. The nationals win on review depth and availability everywhere.
