Buy the TEMPUR-Cloud if you want a close memory-foam feel and sleep mostly on your side. It comes in all-foam Medium and Medium Hybrid options. Skip it if you change positions often or sleep hot. The main catch is the slow response of the all-foam option, which can make rolling over harder.
Best forSide sleepers who want a close all-foam Medium feel
Not ideal forSleepers who dislike slow foam or need stronger edge support
TEMPUR-Cloud
Pros
Two feel options. Choose all-foam Medium or Medium Hybrid.
Close contour. The TEMPUR layers give the all-foam option a close, cushioning feel.
Motion control. A Tom's Guide comparison found strong motion isolation for the model.
Springier hybrid. The coil option adds more bounce than the all-foam version.
Cons
Slow response. The all-foam option can make changing positions harder.
Warm feel. Some outside reviewers found the all-foam model hot.
Weak edge support. The all-foam surface may compress when you sit near the edge.
Doorstep only. It does not include in-home setup or old mattress removal.
How firm is the TEMPUR-Cloud, and which firmness should you pick?
The all-foam TEMPUR-Cloud comes in Medium, and the coil version is called Medium Hybrid. Outside reviewers place the all-foam feel between medium and medium-firm. That can feel different from person to person. Pick the all-foam option if you like a close, slow hug. Choose Medium Hybrid if you want more spring from the coils. Try each feel in a store if you are unsure which one suits you.
Is the TEMPUR-Cloud right for your sleep position and body weight?
Side sleepers may like how the all-foam Medium cushions the shoulders and hips. One reviewer found the all-foam option too soft for back sleeping. Stomach sleepers may feel their hips sink too far, and the slow response may bother people who change positions often. The Medium Hybrid adds coils. TechRadar's TEMPUR-Cloud review gives no weight limit. Tom's Guide's article compares the TEMPUR-Cloud with the Puffy Cloud. Try your usual sleep position in a store if you are unsure.
The all-foam option may sleep warm. TechRadar's review had mixed impressions: one tester was comfortable, while another found the mattress hot. Tempur-Pedic says the cover wicks moisture. The Medium Hybrid has coils that may let more air move through the bed. No outside cooling score was found for either option. If you sleep hot, try each version before you buy.
The all-foam TEMPUR-Cloud may limit how much you feel a partner move. Tom's Guide's TEMPUR-Cloud and TEMPUR-Adapt comparison found strong motion isolation for this model. The Medium Hybrid has coils that move on their own. Tom's Guide gives no separate motion test for that version. If you wake easily, try the exact version you plan to buy. Foam and coils can feel different when a partner moves.
Both TEMPUR-Cloud options are 10 inches high. Sizes include Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King, Split King and California King. Tempur-Pedic's TEMPUR-Cloud page listed the all-foam Medium Queen at $1,999. This was on October 7, 2026. It lists no separate Queen price for Medium Hybrid or full prices by size. Check its live page for the price of the option you choose.
You can buy the TEMPUR-Cloud from Tempur-Pedic or a seller it approves. Tempur-Pedic lists its stores and dealer showrooms where you can try it. UPS ships the Cloud to your door, with no in-home setup. Ask the seller about its trial and return rules before you buy. Store terms can differ.
The all-foam Medium has a stretch-knit cover, a TEMPUR comfort layer, a firmer TEMPUR support layer and a foam base. The Medium Hybrid keeps the same top foam layers and adds individually wrapped coils over base foam. Tempur-Pedic says to spot-clean the cover. Layer thicknesses and a Queen-specific weight are not listed. Check the care label before cleaning.
Tempur-Pedic's TEMPUR-Cloud product page says the foam is CertiPUR-US certified. This label is for the foam, not the fire barrier or full mattress. The cover is stretch knit. Spot-clean it. Both the all-foam Medium and Medium Hybrid use TEMPUR comfort and support foam. The Medium Hybrid also has coils. Tempur-Pedic's product page lists no other certification.
Tempur-Pedic's sources disagree. Its October 2024 law tag for Tempur Cloud Hybrid QN lists glass fibers in the netting. Its help page says its mattresses have no fiberglass.
Use a firm, flat base with a solid top. Tempur-Pedic allows a base with no springs. An adjustable base is fine if it can hold the mattress. Do not use a box spring or a base with springs. A poor base may void the warranty. Check Tempur-Pedic's base guide before setup.
How long will it last, and does it need flipping or rotating?
The current TEMPUR-Cloud is one-sided. Do not flip it. Tempur-Pedic has no set turning schedule. Turning it head to foot now and then may even wear. TEMPUR material may feel firmer at first or in a cool room. Give it time to adjust. Tempur-Pedic's TEMPUR-Cloud page gives no tested lifespan.
UPS brings the Cloud to your door in a canvas bag. You can use it again. Tempur-Pedic's TEMPUR-Cloud page lists no White Glove delivery or old mattress removal. Tempur-Pedic says to open the compressed bed within 30 days of arrival. Set it on a base Tempur-Pedic allows. Then unroll it yourself.
Tempur-Pedic gives a 90-night trial for mattresses bought directly online, by phone, or in Tempur-Pedic Flagship Stores. The trial starts on delivery day. It recommends trying the TEMPUR-Cloud for at least 30 days first. A return or exchange costs a $175 fee plus tax. Tempur-Pedic does not refund this fee. An exchange may also have a price difference. Retailer purchases do not qualify for this trial. The Cloud ships by standard doorstep delivery. Tempur-Pedic does not offer White Glove service for this model. Ask other sellers about their trial and return rules.
Tempur-Pedic gives the current TEMPUR-Cloud a 10-year limited warranty. It covers flaws in how the mattress is made. The wrong base or frame may void the warranty. Keep your receipt and law tag. Read the full terms before setup.
Tempur-Pedic's TEMPUR-Cloud page shows recent owner praise. It lists no overall rating or review count for the Cloud. TechRadar's TEMPUR-Cloud review notes complaints about a stuck feel, hot sleep and softening over time. These are reports from some owners. Your bed may feel different. Read recent comments for the option you plan to buy.
The TEMPUR-Cloud has two options: all-foam Medium and Medium Hybrid. The all-foam version moves slowly and gives a closer hug. The hybrid adds coils for more bounce and airflow. Choose the all-foam option if you want a close memory-foam feel; choose Medium Hybrid if you prefer more spring under you. Check Tempur-Pedic's page for the current Hybrid price.
