Which mattress suits your sleep needs?
If you're a back or combination sleeper who wants medium-firm support, try the Classic 10-inch or the Classic 12-inch Short RV Queen. Both work for RV or home use. If you sleep on your stomach or want firmer support, look at the Elite. If you sleep on your side or sleep hot, the Luxury gives thicker cushioning and gel foam for cooling.
The brand doesn't publish density or ILD guidance for heavier sleepers (checked September 2026). Call to confirm comfort before you buy.
Mattress prices and value
The Classic 10-inch is $399.00 in Twin, $479.00 in Twin XL, $549.00 in Full, $599.00 in Queen and $699.00 in King and Cal King. The Elite 10-inch is $499.00, $579.00, $699.00, $749.00 and $849.00 in the same order. The Luxury 12-inch is $599.00, $679.00, $799.00, $899.00 and $999.00. The Classic 12-inch Short RV Queen is $649.95. A pillow is $60.00.
The site advertises direct pricing with no middleman markup. Promos include $150 off the Luxury, free fast shipping and a free pillow on select tiers. It's budget-friendly next to many bed-in-a-box rivals. But several sizes showed unavailable when we checked.
What are the mattresses made of?
These are all-foam beds. The Classic has three layers, including a 2.5-inch Premium Memory Foam comfort layer over support foam. The Luxury has four layers, including gel memory foam for cooling. The Elite is a firm memory foam design with a breathable outer layer. The brand describes the foams as CertiPUR-US Certified, and the product page mentions OEKO-TEX.
The brand doesn't publish the cover, foam densities, ILDs, gel percentage or country of manufacture (checked September 2026). Use a breathable slatted foundation, platform, box spring or adjustable base for support.
How well do the mattresses hold up?
The brand doesn't publish durability grades, foam densities or third-party longevity testing (checked September 2026). There are some good signs. The foams are CertiPUR-US certified, and the mattress has a 20-year limited warranty. Stock ships new, in factory packaging. Care guidance covers a mattress protector, a proper foundation and 24 to 72 hours of expansion, up to 1 week.
There are risk signals too. The brand publishes no density or ILD specs, and long-term review data is limited. If you're a heavier sleeper, confirm suitability by phone.
Customer reviews and complaints
On-site reviews run on a Yotpo widget with named testimonials. Sarah C. praised the 2-day boxed doorstep delivery and free shipping. Mike B. reported comfort after 2 nights compared with his old innerspring, and he used it the same evening. John M. praised the neatly packaged delivery in under one week and the simple setup.
The only on-page complaint is that expansion takes a few hours. The brand doesn't publish an aggregate star rating or total review count (checked September 2026). The Trustpilot, Mattress Clarity, Sleepopolis and Sleep Foundation pages were unavailable or gone when we looked.
Where can you try and buy?
Buy direct at liveandsleep.com, which also loads as www.liveandsleep.com. You can call (855) 453-5557, or email the sales team through the site. Short RV Queen sizes come only in Classic and Luxury, and you order them by phone.
The brand doesn't publish showrooms or in-store tryouts (checked September 2026). It also doesn't publish third-party retail availability, such as Amazon or Walmart.
Delivery, setup and removal
Your bed ships boxed by UPS to your doorstep. Shipping is free within the continental US. Classic orders ship in about 4 to 7 business days. Elite and Luxury get Free Fast or 2-Day shipping, per site copy. It ships to the contiguous US, Alaska and Hawaii. We found no PO Box, APO or international shipping.
Allow 24 to 72 hours for expansion, or up to 1 week in cold climates. Setup and removal aren't included, but you can add them for a fee. Mattress Setup Only is $125.00, and Mattress Removal Only is $125.00. Removal and Setup is $225.00.
Sleep trial and returns
Trials are tiered, per the FAQ. You get 100 nights on the Luxury, 75 on the Elite and 30 on the Classic. The brand calls them no-hassle with a full refund. The Luxury and Classic product pages repeat 100 and 30 nights. Some site banners say 100 nights for everything, so confirm your tier at checkout.
To return a bed, you contact customer service. The trial and the 20-year limited warranty are void once the mattress leaves the United States. The brand doesn't publish restocking, exchange, donation-versus-return or return-shipping fee details (checked September 2026).
Warranty
The mattress has a 20-year limited warranty. Pillows carry a separate 5-year warranty. It covers repair or replacement at the brand's option for faulty workmanship or structural defects. That includes sagging beyond the stated threshold. Indentations under 1.5 inches count as normal and aren't covered. Later-year service may bring prorated handling costs.
You must be the original purchaser and have bought direct. You'll need the original invoice, an intact law tag and a stain-free mattress, and a protector is recommended. You also need a proper foundation. It excludes tampering, misuse, physical damage, burns, cuts, water damage, mold, stains and floor-placement mold. The warranty and trial are void outside the US.
Live and Sleep vs. other brands
Against budget bed-in-a-box foam rivals like Zinus and Lucid, Live and Sleep doesn't chase the lowest sticker price. It competes on CertiPUR-US foams, a 20-year warranty and US phone support. Against Nectar, Casper and Purple, it has fewer models and no hybrid or innerspring option.
It also publishes no density or ILD specs and includes no white-glove service. It competes on simple three-tier pricing and tiered trials. The brand doesn't publish head-to-head review scores (checked September 2026).
How we put this review together
We read the brand's own product, policy and warranty pages, then checked retailer listings and public complaint sites like the Better Business Bureau. We last checked everything here in September 2026. Prices and policies change, so confirm them on the seller's page before you buy. You can read more in our methodology and editorial policy.
