Hearth and Haven Mattress Review

Hearth and Haven is a Nebraska Furniture Mart exclusive mattress line with five value-priced models, from 8 to 14 inches thick. Most are firm gel memory foam, plus a copper model and a medium euro-top. The brand's site was unavailable when we checked in September 2026. So the details here come from model names and the store listing. Confirm them on nfm.com or in store.

If you sleep on your back or stomach and like firm support, choose among four models. They're the Comfort Firm Gel 8in, Diamond Pro Gel 8in Firm, Firm Memory 8in Value and Diamond Matrix Copper Firm 12.5in. Test the firmness in store. If you sleep on your side or have sensitive hips and shoulders, the Diamond Nova Lux Medium Euro-Top 14in is the only medium option.

If you sleep hot, look at the Diamond Matrix Copper Firm 12.5in for its copper-infused story. For tight budgets, kids, bunks and guest rooms, look at the 8-inch Value and Gel models. The brand doesn't publish motion isolation or edge support (checked September 2026). If you're a couple, test it together in store.

The brand doesn't publish prices (checked September 2026). The store's site was unavailable when we checked, and we found no third-party price listings. Check prices on nfm.com or the store price tag.

The line is clearly positioned as value. An 8-inch Value-named entry model anchors it, and the two 8-inch gel models sit in the low middle. The thicker 12.5-inch copper and 14-inch euro-top models should cost more. The line only makes sense if the in-store price undercuts comparable Serta, Sealy or Beautyrest promo models at NFM. Confirm size-by-size pricing before you judge the value.

By their names, the line uses gel memory foam comfort layers in the Comfort Firm Gel 8in and Diamond Pro Gel 8in Firm. The Diamond Matrix Copper Firm 12.5in uses copper-infused foam. The Diamond Nova Lux Medium Euro-Top 14in has euro-top upholstery over support layers.

The brand doesn't publish exact layer stacks, foam densities, ILDs, coil counts or gauges (checked September 2026). It also doesn't publish cover fabrics, cooling technologies or certifications such as CertiPUR-US. Read the in-store cutaway, the law tag and the spec card before you buy.

The brand doesn't publish durability data, foam-density specs, sagging thresholds or long-term owner reports (checked September 2026). Here's general guidance only. Thinner 8-inch all-foam value models usually suit lighter sleepers and part-time use best.

The thicker 12.5-inch and 14-inch models should handle nightly adult use better. Rotate the bed per NFM instructions, and use a proper supportive base or foundation.

We found no professional reviews or owner-review aggregates for Hearth and Haven (checked September 2026). Check the star ratings and written reviews on each model page at nfm.com. Read the 1-star reviews for comfort and sagging complaints, and ask store staff about comfort-exchange rates.

Common value-mattress complaints across the industry are that the bed sleeps firmer than expected, holds heat and breaks down at the edges.

Hearth and Haven is a Nebraska Furniture Mart exclusive line. You can try and buy it only at NFM stores and on nfm.com. We found no other retailers and no brand site.

NFM stores serve the Omaha, Nebraska, Kansas City, Kansas, Des Moines, Iowa and Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas (The Colony) areas. Floor lineups vary, so confirm your nearest store carries each model and size. Test the firmness in person before you order.

Delivery, setup and old-mattress removal run through Nebraska Furniture Mart logistics. NFM offers store delivery services and haul-away options. The brand doesn't publish exact delivery fees, free-delivery thresholds, room-of-choice setup, scheduling windows or removal charges for this line (checked September 2026).

Confirm costs, timing and any stairs or rural surcharges at checkout or with the store.

The brand doesn't publish a sleep-trial length, return window, comfort-exchange rules, restocking or pickup fees or condition requirements (checked September 2026). NFM store purchase policies apply.

Ask for the current trial, exchange and final-sale terms in writing before you pay. Keep your receipts and tags, and use a protective cover from day one.

The brand doesn't publish warranty length or coverage terms (checked September 2026). That includes sagging depth, cover and zipper coverage, base requirements, pro-rating, exclusions for stains or misuse and the claim process.

Read the warranty card attached to the mattress and the NFM paperwork. Photograph the law tag, and register the warranty if you're required to.

Against other NFM value lines like Serta, Sealy and Beautyrest promo models, Hearth and Haven competes on in-store price and one-stop NFM delivery. It lags them on published specs, review volume and brand recognition. Compare final out-the-door prices side by side.

Online bed-in-a-box value brands publish trials, warranties and reviews openly. Hearth and Haven needs an NFM visit for the same answers. Shop it as a store-brand value play, not a national brand.

We read the brand's own product, policy and warranty pages, then checked retailer listings and public complaint sites like the Better Business Bureau. We last checked everything here in September 2026. Prices and policies change, so confirm them on the seller's page before you buy. You can read more in our methodology and editorial policy.
