Easy Rest Mattress Review
Easy Rest isn't a mattress brand you can buy today. It was a Baltimore maker of US-built adjustable beds, founded in 2007. It bundled its own adjustable mattresses with each base. The lineup was Platinum, Premier, Harmony, Classic and Economy. It sold only by phone and in-home demonstration. Since 2025, easyrest.com has been a sleep and mattress editorial site. It says it no longer sells beds. If you're researching an older bed, the terms below are historical.

Which mattress suits your sleep needs?
Easy Rest aimed at side and back sleepers, and at people told to raise the head or legs. Its list included acid reflux and GERD, leg swelling and poor leg circulation. It also named mild arthritis, low back pain, post-surgery recovery, breathing trouble lying flat, and seniors. The split-top Harmony targeted couples who wanted their own positions. The company claimed 1,001 comfort positions, plus gentle heat and vibration massage for temporary relief.
You can't match a bed to your needs today. The brand never published a firmness scale, weight ratings, foam densities or ILDs. It gave no guidance for stomach sleepers. No review lab tested it. There's no trial or return path, and you can't buy the bed at all.
Mattress prices and value
Easy Rest never published prices. Its pricing page said prices may vary by distributor and depend on the model and options. It pushed a free catalog, a phone number (800-217-5206) and flexible payment options instead of numbers.
Marketing leaned on promotions. These included a buy-one-get-one fall sale and a Platinum offer where the second bed was free. A monthly sweepstakes gave away a free Classic bed (suspended during COVID-19). Financing was available. Preferred Credit, Inc., a consumer-finance company, gave the company a Diamond Certification in 2014. It cited sales volume, customer service and low complaints. One customer said the quality gap versus local stores far outweighed the cost gap. Another called the price very decent. The brand published no dollar figure, price range or comparison with named rivals (checked September 2026).
What are the mattresses made of?
Published construction is thin and covers one model. The Harmony mattress is a 13-inch hybrid. It has 12.5-gauge, 660 foam-encased pocketed offset coils. A pillow-top section adds 1.5 inches of Omalon foam and 1.5 inches of latex foam under an ultra-plush stretch-knit cover. Across the line you could pick an ultra-plush latex topper or the company's memory reflex foam topper.
The base used a high-carbon steel frame, recessed for safety and powder-coated against rust. It had sealed self-lubricating motors, reinforced headboard brackets, optional leg extensions and locking casters. Everything was marketed as made and assembled in the USA. The FAQ said Easy Rest chose not to move production overseas.
The brand doesn't publish foam densities or other models' layer stacks (checked September 2026). It also doesn't publish cover fiber content, flame-retardant details, or coil counts for models other than the Harmony. It also lists no CertiPUR-US, GOTS, GOLS or OEKO-TEX certification.
How well do the mattresses hold up?
The brand leaned on its warranty, not on testing. It offered a limited lifetime warranty on motors on its most popular models. It also offered a 20-year pro-rated mattress and foundation warranty, and one year of free in-home service, parts and labor. It called its motors sealed and self-lubricating, and its frame built for thousands of adjustments.
We found no independent durability evidence. No Tuck, Sleepopolis, Mattress Clarity or Consumer Reports tests turned up. We found no owner reports of sagging, coil failure or motor failure. The brand doesn't publish wear tests, sag limits or a proration schedule (checked September 2026).
Customer reviews and complaints
Almost all review evidence came from the company, and you can't verify it today. Easy Rest claimed more than 7,300 online reviews in 2017 to 2019. That grew to more than 8,500 positive reviews by the 2024 snapshot of its site. It said it had helped more than 100,000 customers. It also claimed 46 percent more reviews than its closest competitor. Reviews came through a partnership with ConsumerAffairs.com, which interviewed verified customers.
Preferred Credit, Inc. gave its Diamond Certification in June 2014. That's an award from a finance partner, not an independent review body. Site testimonials praise delivery, setup, massage, heat, and relief from reflux, swelling and back pain.
We couldn't find a live Better Business Bureau profile or an accessible Trustpilot or ConsumerAffairs rating. The SiteJabber profile for easyrest.com shows 0 reviews and a 0.0 rating, and it doesn't refer to the bed business. Current ratings and complaints aren't available (checked September 2026).
Where can you try and buy?
Easy Rest never sold through stores. It sold direct through a toll-free sales line (800-217-5206), a free mail catalog, a website request form and in-home demonstrations by sleep specialists. It also had a distributor network and offered financing. There was no online checkout and no store that we could find.
Support ran through a customer-service center at 1-800-523-5383, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Eastern. Trained staff in the 48 contiguous states made in-home repairs. The company also serviced compatible competitor beds at reasonable labor and parts rates.
Today you can't try or buy one. easyrest.com says it no longer sells beds. Searches of Amazon, Walmart and Wayfair found no Easy Rest mattresses or adjustable beds.
Delivery, setup and removal
Easy Rest ran its own delivery and service team instead of using a national carrier. It posted delivery and service technician jobs in Baltimore, Maryland. Staff covered the 48 contiguous states. Customers describe crews bringing the bed in, setting it up and showing them how to use it. One account says a crew carried the old mattress to a back room.
The brand published no old-mattress removal program, fee or disposal policy. An accessories catalog promotion mentioned free shipping. It doesn't publish delivery fees, scheduling windows, or whether setup was free (checked September 2026).
Sleep trial and returns
There was no sleep trial and no returns. The return policy page said all sales are final and can't be returned for any reason. It said the beds weren't sold on an in-home trial. The no-return rule was also printed in large type on the sales contract.
The company gave health and sanitation as its reasons. It said any bed left in a home, even for one night, counts as used. The mattress would have to be thrown out. It said it didn't want to sell reconditioned beds. It also noted that rival guarantees have costs. It said Craftmatic's 30-day trial needs you to call between day 31 and day 45 for a return authorization. You get 14 days to return it. You either find and pay for your own trucking or pay Craftmatic 488 dollars for one bed or 688 dollars for a dual system.
The brand doesn't publish exchanges, mattress-only swaps or cancellation rights (checked September 2026). With the brand no longer selling, there's nothing to return.
Warranty
Published terms had three parts. Motors on the most popular models had a limited lifetime warranty. Mattresses and foundations had a 20-year pro-rated warranty. You also got one year of free in-home service, parts and labor. Beds were warranted against defects in workmanship and material. The company promised in-home service whenever you needed it. It also offered to service competitor beds with compatible parts.
The brand doesn't publish the full warranty text, the proration schedule, what voids coverage, or whether coverage transfers to a second owner. It lists no exclusions for wear or damage, no fees after the first year, and no limits on the lifetime motor coverage (checked September 2026). The current easyrest.com has no warranty page because it no longer sells beds.
Easy Rest vs. other brands
Easy Rest competed as a direct-sales adjustable bed system, not a mattress-only brand. Its pages named Tempur-Pedic, Serta, Sleep Number and Craftmatic. It argued that big retailers also exclude adjustable beds from returns. Its pitch was US-made quality at a better value than local stores, with in-home demos and lifetime motor coverage.
Against Tempur-Pedic, Sleep Number, Saatva, Purple, Nectar, Puffy and Helix, it now falls short on every standard. There are no prices or specs, no store, no trial, no returns, no independent testing, and since 2025 no product. Oddly, easyrest.com now publishes editorial reviews of Casper, Helix, Saatva, Zinus, Novaform, Avocado, PlushBeds and Naturepedic while selling nothing. Any comparison there is editorial, not commercial.
How we put this review together
We read the brand's own product, policy and warranty pages, then checked retailer listings and public complaint sites like the Better Business Bureau. We last checked everything here in September 2026. Prices and policies change, so confirm them on the seller's page before you buy. You can read more in our methodology and editorial policy.
