Ergovea Mattress Review

Ergovea (Eco Bedroom Solutions LLC, Camarillo, California) sells certified-organic latex mattresses. Its headline models are vegan, 100% wool-free and animal-free all-latex beds, plus one wool latex hybrid. Five models run from $1,348 to $4,498, with a 20-year limited warranty. It's best if you're chemical-sensitive and want wool-free latex. The biggest caveat is that you don't get a real sleep trial, because returns require unused condition. We also found no third-party reviews as of September 2026.

Checked September 2026 against the brand's own pages and public listings. We haven't sleep-tested these mattresses, so treat this as a buyer's summary of what the brand publishes.

Which mattress suits your sleep needs?

If you sleep on your side, the Valencia is the softest pick. It has a plush built-in topper and cloud-like positioning, per the brand. The La Jolla (medium) is the fallback. The brand publishes no independent pressure-relief testing. Back sleepers can look at the La Jolla medium or the Madera, which has a medium topper and a firmer surface. These are the neutral-alignment picks by name.

If you sleep on your stomach, the Cavallo (extra-firm topper) or the Madera offers the most support-first feel by name. Latex is naturally breathable, and the brand says it uses no chemical flame retardants. But it doesn't publish cooling test data. It also doesn't publish weight guidance. By height alone, the 10in Valencia and 11in Pasadena hybrid are the thickest picks.

If you're wool-sensitive or vegan, choose the Valencia, La Jolla, Madera, or Cavallo. All four are explicitly 100% wool free and animal free. Avoid the Pasadena, which contains organic wool. All guidance is inference from brand descriptions, not independent testing.

Mattress prices and value

The all-latex line runs from Twin $2,298 to $2,698 up to King and Cal King $4,298 to $4,498. The Valencia Queen is $3,498. The La Jolla, Madera, and Cavallo Queen is $3,298. The Pasadena hybrid runs from $1,348 (Twin and Twin XL) to $2,398 (King and Cal King). Its Queen is $1,948. These are list prices from ergovea.com as of September 2026.

This is premium artisan-organic pricing. All-latex queens cost roughly 1.5 to 2 times mass-market organic latex rivals with similar GOTS and GOLS claims. The Pasadena hybrid Queen at $1,948 is the value pick in the line. The brand doesn't publish sales, financing, or price-match terms. We found no Amazon, Wayfair, Costco, or other marketplace listings. You buy direct or through retail partners.

What are the mattresses made of?

The all-latex models (Valencia, La Jolla, Madera, Cavallo) use Dunlop-process natural rubber. Per the brand's Our Rubber page, it's harvested 6 months per year, with no clay fillers and handcrafted molds. It's layered over firm rubber support cores. The cover is stretch certified-organic cotton, with zero wool and zero animal products. The Valencia page says the cover is stretch certified organic cotton. It adds that the bed is 100% wool free and animal free.

The Pasadena hybrid has 3in certified organic latex, 8in fabric-encased coils, and an organic wool and organic cotton cover. It isn't vegan. The brand references an Eco Fire Barrier, with chemical-free positioning and no chemical flame retardants, though the detail page is thin.

The brand shows GOTS 100% organic cotton, GOLS 100% organic latex, and Greenguard on its pages. It doesn't publish certificate numbers or scopes (checked September 2026). CertiPUR-US doesn't apply to latex. The brand doesn't publish ILDs, densities, coil counts or gauges, or cover weights.

How well do the mattresses hold up?

Durability evidence comes only from the brand. The 20-year limited warranty has two stages. In years 1 to 10, it repairs or replaces for manufacturing or material defects. In years 11 to 20, it's prorated repair or replacement. The charge starts at 55% and rises 5% a year to a maximum of 95% of the prevailing price, and you pay transport.

Sag coverage excludes impressions under 1.5in on quilted wool covers or 0.75in on non-wool covers. Also excluded are comfort preference, cover or pad, abuse, unsanitary condition, and improper foundations. Dunlop latex is generally long-lived. But the brand doesn't publish independent durability, sag, or longevity testing (checked September 2026). Treat long-term hold-up as unproven outside the warranty terms.

Customer reviews and complaints

We found no on-site star ratings, review widgets, or rated testimonials on ergovea.com product pages as of September 2026. We also found no BBB profile, Trustpilot page, Google rating aggregate, Sleep Foundation, RTINGS, or Sleepopolis review, Reddit thread, or retailer ratings for Ergovea. We found no verifiable complaints.

Ergovea is a very small artisan brand that sells through its own site and independent retailers. So its public review footprint is effectively zero. You can't validate satisfaction, comfort accuracy, or service quality before you buy.

Where can you try and buy?

You can buy direct at ergovea.com. You add to cart by size, and the Pasadena also by Medium or Med-Firm firmness. You can also call 1-805-203-3844. The headquarters is at 3233 Mission Oaks Blvd Bldg C, Camarillo, CA 93012.

To try before you buy, use the Find-a-Retailer page, which lists about 25 retail partners. They include Ergo Beds (Laguna Niguel, CA) and Ergo Sleep Systems (Berkeley, CA). Others are The Sleep Store (Bellevue, WA) and Livingreen (Carpinteria, CA). You'll also see The Natural Mattress Company (Shelburne, VT) and Bedwork (Cambridge, MA). Green Dream Beds (Durham, NC), Island Mattress, and Your Organic Bedroom (Paoli, PA) are listed too. There's also a Las Vegas-market showroom contact (Knickerbocker Showroom C-1595, Brandy Alvis and Andy Freedman).

The brand has no stores of its own. We found no Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, or Costco listings. It doesn't disclose sibling brands. Eco Bedroom Solutions LLC is the parent.

Delivery, setup and removal

The Shipping Info page says only that mattresses and toppers are compression roll packed. It says this eases shipping and delivery. The brand doesn't publish shipping costs, speeds, geographic limits, carriers, setup or assembly service, a white-glove option, or old-mattress removal terms (checked September 2026).

It also doesn't publish a foundation specification. The warranty requires an appropriate foundation or box spring without defining it. Call to confirm shipping cost, delivery time, and foundation requirements before you order.

Sleep trial and returns

The brand doesn't publish a dedicated sleep trial, such as 100 nights (checked September 2026). The store's default return policy allows returns within 30 days of purchase. The item must be unused and in original packaging, with proof of purchase. That effectively rules out sleeping on the mattress.

Refunds go to your original payment method after inspection. You may pay shipping, and refunds may be partial. Gift cards and opened health or personal-care items can't be returned. The brand doesn't publish an exchange program, comfort-adjustment layer swaps, a return-shipping fee schedule, or a restocking fee. Treat Ergovea as having no sleep trial, and confirm terms in writing before you buy.

Warranty

The 20-year limited warranty comes from the Warranty page of Ergovea Natural Sleep, a division of Eco Bedroom Solutions LLC (EBS). It covers defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase. In years 1 to 10, EBS repairs or replaces at its option, and it may substitute materials of equal or higher quality. Splitting or cracking under normal use and proper handling is covered.

In years 11 to 20, you get a prorated repair, with handling cost to you, or a prorated replacement. It starts at 55% of the prevailing price in year 11 and rises 5% a year to a 95% cap, not counting transport. Excluded are the cover or pad, impressions under 1.5in (wool-quilted) or 0.75in (non-wool), comfort preference, transport charges, abuse or unsanitary condition, and an improper foundation. EBS may refuse service for an unsanitary product.

The brand doesn't publish the claims process, registration requirements, or law-tag and proof demands (checked September 2026). Contact the brand to file.

Ergovea vs. other brands

Against PlushBeds (Botanical Bliss), both sell GOTS and GOLS organic latex. PlushBeds publishes ILDs, layer specs, a 100-night trial, and free returns. Ergovea offers a long warranty but no trial and thinner specs. PlushBeds wins on transparency and risk-free trying. Against Avocado Green, Avocado adds wool as standard, so it isn't vegan. It has GREENGUARD Gold and a 1-year trial. Ergovea wins for wool-free vegan latex seekers. It loses on trial, reviews, and certification depth.

Against Savvy Rest, Savvy Rest offers customizable latex layers, published specs, and a 90-day exchange. Ergovea offers fixed builds with no published exchanges. Against Naturepedic, Naturepedic publishes full specs, GOTS and Greenguard credentials, and a 100-night trial. Ergovea competes only on wool-free vegan positioning and a longer headline warranty.

Ergovea's edge is narrow. It offers vegan, wool-free, certified latex. Rivals win on trial, transparency, reviews, and service.
