Why we don't average the scores

A single average would mix overall ratings with a back-support grade. Match each result to its model and firmness before using it to choose.

Comfort and firmness: which mattress fits you

Why this matters to you: For sleepers over 230 lbs, Casper's match shifts with sleep position. Use the model tied to your position, then check its feel.

Select your sleep position and weight to see a Casper model, firmness, fit score, Queen price, and trial. Use both details to make your pick.

Chapter 03

Compare the mattresses

Why this matters to you: Start with the feel you want. Then check the Queen price and height against your budget and bed setup.

Casper's six mattresses use all-foam or hybrid builds, with different heights, firmness labels, and Queen prices. Compare the choices by what matters most to you before you decide.

Set your Queen budget, then choose a firmness label that fits your needs. Compare the main layers if two models seem close.

Casper calls The One medium-firm. Its guide gives two ranges: 3-5 and 5-6. Use the label, not one exact number, when comparing The One.

  • You prefer polyurethane foam to memory foam. Dream Max uses polyurethane; Snow and Snow Max use memory foam.

  • Choose Snow Max for its cooling-focused build. It has six aluminum graphite bands and more phase-change material.

Casper's current Queen prices range from The One at $899 to Snow Max at $3,090. Snow Max costs $2,191 more than The One, with a hybrid build and Snow Technology. Pay more if cooling matters to you.

The One is all foam. Cloud One costs $1,099 and adds patent-pending Core+ foam pillars. Dream costs $1,495 and adds zoned memory foam with pocketed springs. Choose Dream for a hybrid build, not an all-foam feel.

Snow costs $2,040 and has Snow Technology with three aluminum graphite bands and a cool-to-the-touch coating. Dream Max costs $2,525, $485 more than Snow, and adds Zoned Support Max. Pick Snow for cooling if those features matter more to you.

Chapter 05

How well do the mattresses hold up?

Why this matters to you: Durability matters because sag can affect comfort and a warranty claim. Check the mattress base and coverage terms before you buy.

Casper's durability picture has three parts: a time claim, a foam check, and owner reports. Read them together before deciding whether the evidence fits your needs.

Casper calls The One's polyurethane foam base durable. The One and Cloud One use three foam layers and carry CertiPUR-US® certification. CertiPUR-US says its certification tests foam for emissions, content, and durability. Compare the named base and foam certification when choosing between these all-foam models.

What to watch for, and when:

  • Casper says its mattresses provide lasting support for a full decade.

Who owns Casper: Carpenter Co. is the parent as of 2024; Durational Capital Management acquired Casper in 2022.

Where sources disagree

  • Recent BBB customer reviews for Casper Sleep Inc.'s headquarters and corporate-owned locations report sagging or sinking and warranty claims.

Chapter 07

Delivery, setup and old-mattress removal

Why this matters to you: Your delivery choice affects **the wait and setup help**. Check old-bed removal for your address before ordering.

Casper's in-stock UPS orders typically arrive in 2-8 business days; in-home delivery typically takes 2-4 weeks. Choose by your move-in date, since in-home delivery takes longer.

Casper sends mattresses by UPS Standard Ground. Shipping is free in the contiguous U.S.; it costs $250 per item to ship mattresses to Alaska or Hawaii. In-home delivery and setup cost $249 for eligible products. Old-mattress removal is optional and free with in-home delivery; LoadUp removal costs $150 in eligible areas, excluding California. Before ordering, confirm delivery timing, setup, and removal for your address. Figure 9.1: Casper delivery options in the contiguous U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii.

What do the warranties cover?

Why this matters to you: A warranty does not cover every sag. Check your bed frame before buying, since base support can affect sag coverage.

Casper covers a visible indentation greater than 1 inch unless an improper or unsupportive base caused it. Stains or liquid damage are excluded when they cause the defect. Keep proof of purchase.

  • Warranty term: 10 years; 5 years for Final Sale or Clearance; 3 years for Trade Customers.
  • Claim shipping: You do not pay required return shipping. Casper ships the repaired or replacement mattress back.
  • Warranty length: 10 years; 5 years for Final Sale or Clearance; 3 years for Trade Customers
  • Dip depth rule: Visible indentation greater than 1 inch
  • What voids it or is not covered: Stains or liquid damage if they caused the defect; related sag from an improper or unsupportive base is not covered; a claim requires proof of purchase.
  • Who pays shipping on a claim: Customer is not responsible for required return shipping; Casper ships the repaired or replacement mattress back.

Review counts checked on each site · counts can change

Customer reviews and complaints

Why this matters to you: Check who left each review before relying on a score. Casper.com, outside review sites, product listings, and store pages are different pools, so their scores answer different questions.

On 2026-10-25, Casper.com listed 110,000 5-star reviews. Trustpilot listed 6,093 reviews and a 2.0 out of 5 score that day.

How we read the reviews
  • We keep each review pool separate; we do not combine its rating with another site's score.
  • Amazon's listing is product-specific, for the Casper Sleep Element Queen.
  • Google's pool is for one store: Casper - NoHo, shown on Birdeye.

On 2026-10-25, we checked Casper.com's reviews page and Trustpilot's casper.com page. We also checked the BBB customer review profile and Amazon's Casper Sleep Element Queen listing that day. We checked Google reviews for Casper - NoHo on Birdeye. We recorded each pool's displayed rating and sample count separately.

Read each platform on its own: who runs it, its rating scale, how many reviews it has, and the date we checked it.

Reported praise and concerns:

  • Casper.com testimonials praise comfort and support, including relief for back problems.
  • Recent Trustpilot reviews shown cite customer service and warranty or return handling.
  • Recent BBB reviews shown cite mattress sagging or sinking and warranty claims.

Chapter 11

Where can you try and buy the mattresses?

Why this matters to you: Casper mattresses are sold online, in retail stores, and through third-party retailers. Choose the route that suits how you shop.

Casper stores offer an in-person shopping option. Casper.com, Costco, and Amazon are other places to buy.

Where it sells: Casper.com, Casper retail stores across the U.S., Costco, and Amazon

Chapter 12

Casper vs. other mattress brands

Why this matters to you: Match each rival with its Casper model before using the price gap to choose. This keeps the comparison tied to the bed you may buy.

IKEA VALEVÅG is the lower-cost rival to The One. Saatva Classic offers three firmness levels, while Dream is medium. Check the Casper model on each card before weighing its price gap.

Each card pairs a rival with one Casper model. Its listed price gap applies to that pair, not to the whole Casper lineup. A price shows the cost, not whether the feel suits you. Check the bed style and firmness details before you choose.
