Americanstar Mattress Review
Americanstar is the US direct arm of the Americanstar Group, a global mattress maker with more than 25 years of experience. It has operated in the US since 2014 from Texas and California. Its online store lists 22 mattresses from $699 to $4,299 across ten collections. Most carry a 12-year warranty plus a 50-year spring-unit warranty. It's a good pick if you want a value hybrid. The biggest catch is that it doesn't publish a sleep trial. You also won't find certifications, foam densities or coil counts.

Which mattress suits your sleep needs?
The brand doesn't publish sleeper guidance, so this comes from model names. Side sleepers can start with Plush picks like Aria Plush, Sweet Plush, Presidential, Bluesky Lux 14, Dream Flow Lux and Wave Plush. Back sleepers can start with Medium picks like Aria Medium, Bluesky Ultra 13, Capella Medium 8, Wave Medium, Dream Flow Ultra and Primerest Lux. Stomach sleepers can look at Firm picks like Aria Firm, Bluesky Firm 11, Wave Firm, Dream Flow Firm and Phantom Firm 15.
Cooling features include gel, charcoal and copper-infused foams, ice-feel covers and latex with micro coils. No independent cooling tests exist. There's no weight guidance either. The 15 to 16 in Dream Flow and Phantom models are the tallest. The two-sided Dylan Lux 14 is the only dual-surface option.
Mattress prices and value

Aria and Capella sit under many national hybrids. Flagships push into premium territory. Densities and coil counts aren't published, so you can't compare build per dollar. The brand doesn't publish a promo or price-match policy, so confirm prices at checkout.
What are the mattresses made of?
This is a hybrid-first lineup. Covers are knit, cool-knit, ice-feel cooling knit, bamboo or viscose. Comfort layers include Amstar-Cool gel, Amstar-Aero charcoal or copper-infused memory foam, SilkFoam, natural Talalay latex and CNC contour foam. Support comes from Amstar-Adaptive or Amstar-Infinitive wrapped coils or 4K micro wrapped coils. Dylan uses the Infinity8 continuous coil. Capella and Sweet use Amstar-Support foam cores.
The brand doesn't publish certifications such as CertiPUR, GOTS, GOLS or OEKO-TEX (checked September 2026). It also doesn't publish foam densities, ILD, coil counts, gauges, latex blend, fire-barrier type or whether each bed ships compressed.
How well do the mattresses hold up?
Most hybrids carry a 12-year limited warranty. Capella carries 10 years. The corporate page says up to 15 years, depending on the model's law tag. A separate Spring Unit Lifetime Warranty covers wrapped and continuous coil units for 50 years, spring units only.
Durability signals come from the brand alone: pocketed and micro coils, hand-tufting and the flippable Dylan. We found no independent testing, and no owner longevity data. The brand doesn't publish sag depth or proration terms. Its warranty brochure is a 12-page image PDF.
Customer reviews and complaints
The brand's store shows no ratings or reviews (checked September 2026). We found no Amazon listing, editorial reviews, or ratings from Sleep Foundation, RTINGS or others. A BBB profile exists, but it was unavailable when we checked, so there's no rating or complaint count. The corporate site shows a dealer endorsement from Mattress Firm Montana instead of consumer reviews.
Thin reviews are a caution flag. Check current dealer and marketplace feedback before you buy.
Where can you try and buy?
You can buy direct at shop.americanstarus.com. The corporate site, americanstarus.com, is aimed at dealers. The FAQ says local retailers can help you try models and handle warranty claims. There's no store locator or brand showroom program. You won't find Amazon, Walmart or Wayfair listings.
Addresses are Houston, TX (2301 Minimax St.), Dallas-Arlington, TX, Los Angeles-Commerce, CA, and a Waco, TX contact address. Phones are 713-802-0313 and 713-802-0312. Email is info@americanstarus.com.
Delivery, setup and removal
Standard ground shipping takes 5 to 10 business days after processing. The carrier varies. The corporate site says boxed mattresses ship to all 50 states. The brand doesn't publish shipping costs, expedited options, white-glove service or old-mattress removal (checked September 2026). Inspect the mattress on delivery day to confirm model and size.
Foundation specs aren't published beyond the Platform Base ($299 to $399) and warranty wording that requires proper support. Slat, bunkie-board and adjustable-base rules aren't published either.
Sleep trial and returns
The brand doesn't publish a sleep trial, free returns or exchanges. Its returns page suggests you sleep on the bed for 30 nights, then email info@americanstarus.com or call 713-802-0312 to discuss options. That's a suggestion, not a guarantee. You may be asked for your order number, date and photos.
You can cancel within 48 hours of ordering at info@americanstarus.com or 713-802-0313. Return shipping, refund timing and restocking fees aren't published. Get return terms in writing before you buy.
Warranty
The limited warranty covers manufacturing defects. It runs 12 years on most hybrids and 10 years on Capella. The corporate page says up to 15 years and points you to the law tag and brochure. The Spring Unit Lifetime Warranty covers wrapped and continuous coil units in select models for 50 years. It doesn't cover other materials.
Exclusions include comfort preference, sheet fit, fabric pilling, height differences up to 1.5in, force majeure and commercial use. Improper support or stains can void it, and you must keep the law tag. You file claims with the original retailer. The claimant must be the original registered buyer. Sag depth, proration and transport costs are in the brochure, which we couldn't read.
Americanstar vs. other brands
Versus Zinus and Lucid, Americanstar matches value pricing at the Aria and Capella end and adds a stronger coil story. It has fewer reviews and no published trial. Versus Sealy and Serta value lines, it offers a similar Firm, Medium and Plush choice and dealer sales. Its 50-year spring-unit warranty stands out.
Versus Brooklyn Bedding, both lean on US manufacturing. Brooklyn publishes a 120-night trial. Americanstar offers longer warranty wording but thinner reviews. Versus Ashley Sierra Sleep, both are promotion-priced and retailer-sold. Americanstar has a broader online catalog with Talalay latex flagships.
How we put this review together
We read the brand's own product, policy and warranty pages, then checked retailer listings and public complaint sites like the Better Business Bureau. We last checked everything here in September 2026. Prices and policies change, so confirm them on the seller's page before you buy. You can read more in our methodology and editorial policy.
