All American Mattress Review

All American Mattress is a family-owned sleep shop in Crossville, Tennessee, opened in June 2023. It sells its own locally handcrafted latex hybrids next to Posh+Lavish, Therapedic, Dutch Craft and BedTech. Five house models range from luxury-firm to plush pillow-top, using latex, copper memory foam and pocket coils. It's a good fit if you live in East Tennessee and want in-store guidance. It isn't for you if you want online bed-in-a-box convenience, since no trial or return terms are published.

Checked September 2026 against the brand's own pages and public listings. We haven't sleep-tested these mattresses, so treat this as a buyer's summary of what the brand publishes.

Which mattress suits your sleep needs?

Side sleepers can look at the Goodfellow plush Euro top and the Melissa pillow-top. Both use latex plus foams for pressure relief. The Belvoir Luxury Medium is the middle-ground pick. Back sleepers can try the Belvoir, Melissa or Relax. Relax is the firmest sleep-on-top option.

Stomach sleepers get the best hip support from Balboa Luxury Firm and Relax. Hot sleepers should look at Balboa, with its breathable cotton cover, and Relax, with a breathable wool and cotton barrier and moisture-wicking Tencel. Melissa cites copper and zoned foams, but there's no independent cooling test.

Heavier sleepers have the sturdiest options in Relax, with dense rubber and a 20-year warranty, and the coil-based hybrids. The shop doesn't publish per-size weight limits or coil counts (checked September 2026).

Labor Day messaging advertised up to 50% off floor models and massage chairs, plus up to $1,500 off Posh+Lavish sets. The shop doesn't publish everyday house-model discounts, financing terms beyond its 0% same-as-cash offer, or lease-to-own costs. These are mid-to-premium prices for handcrafted local latex hybrids. Without trial terms, delivered pricing and durability data, you can't check the value against national rivals.

What are the mattresses made of?

Melissa uses copper performance foam, quilt foam, plush natural latex, 5-zone contour foam, copper memory foam and support foam. Below those are Premium Quantum Edge individually encased coils, edge to edge, over base foam. The foams are CertiPUR-US, and the bed works with adjustable bases.

Relax has an all-natural-rubber core, a chemical-free wool and cotton fire-retardant layer and a 602-gram Tencel-faced fabric. Belvoir, Balboa and Goodfellow use natural or blended latex over pocket coils. Balboa adds a blended natural cotton cover, and Goodfellow adds serene comfort foam under a Euro top.

The shop doesn't publish cover weaves, fire-barrier details (except Relax), foam densities, latex blends, coil counts or glue details. It claims CertiPUR-US on Melissa only. We found no GOTS, GOLS, OEKO-TEX or Greenguard claims.

How well do the mattresses hold up?

Relax carries a 20-year warranty, which the brand calls best-in-class because of its simple all-rubber design. Melissa, Belvoir, Balboa and Goodfellow warranty lengths aren't on their product pages. They fall under manufacturer guidelines that vary by product.

The warranty page covers measurable defects, generally body impressions over 1.5 inches, or 0.75 inch-plus on some premium models. You'll need a proper foundation. Comfort preference, small impressions, normal softening, stains, moisture and mold aren't covered. We found no independent durability testing or lifespan data. The shop's history is brand-reported. It's a family operation that opened in June 2023.

Customer reviews and complaints

Store-level feedback is strong. The homepage shows 5.0 stars from 46 Google reviews. Reviewers praise patient, no-pressure guidance from Derrick and Diana. They also like the careful delivery, in-home setup and old-mattress haul-away. Others report better sleep and less back pain on supportive latex models.

Complaints are rare. One household reported a strong lingering rubber smell and replaced the bed. One shopper noted poor online price information, with some models lacking costs. The shop doesn't publish model-level ratings, per-mattress review counts or scores from BBB, Yelp or Sleep Foundation (checked September 2026).

Where can you try and buy?

Visit the store at 3820 Peavine Rd Unit 2, Crossville, TN 38571. You can book private sessions before public hours through the site. You can also buy at allamericanmattress.com or in store. Call (931) 202-2809, Monday to Saturday 9 to 5pm.

The store also sells Posh, Posh+Lavish, Therapedic, Dutch Craft and BedTech, plus adjustable beds, massage chairs, pillows, sheets, protectors, toppers and custom sizes. It doesn't publish extra showrooms or dealers. Shipping centers on the local region, not national fulfillment.

Delivery, setup and removal

The shop doesn't publish delivery cost, speed, tracking or geographic limits (checked September 2026). Reviewers describe careful local delivery with in-home placement, adjustable-bed instruction and old-mattress removal.

Melissa is adjustable-base friendly. The product pages don't give unboxing, expansion-time or foundation instructions, though the warranty needs a capable foundation or adjustable base. Old-mattress removal happens in practice, but fees and coverage aren't published. Call before ordering to confirm delivery scope, fees and setup.

Sleep trial and returns

The shop doesn't publish sleep-trial length, return steps, exchanges or fees (checked September 2026). No trial period appears on its homepage, product, warranty, financing, contact or custom-size pages. Treat purchases as final at the store until you've confirmed otherwise in writing.

For a warranty claim, which isn't a trial, you'll send proof of purchase and a law-tag photo through the store. It forwards the claim to the maker. Expect contact within 3 to 5 business days. You pay transportation fees.

Warranty

Warranties vary by product and the maker backs each one. Posh+Lavish and Dutchcraft are explicitly manufacturer-backed, with the store assisting. The store's warranty page covers measurable structural defects, generally body impressions over 1.5 inches, or 0.75 inch-plus on some premium models. Check your warranty card.

It excludes comfort preference, small impressions, normal settling and abuse. Folding is out too, except adjustable-base use. So are cuts, burns, stains, liquids, mold, tailoring flaws, improper cleaning, infestation and use without the cover. Decorative handles mustn't bear weight. Improper support and washing the zippered cover void it. You'll need proof of purchase and a law-tag photo, and you pay transport. Contact is within 3 to 5 business days. Relax lists 20 years. The shop doesn't publish other house-model terms.

All American Mattress vs. other brands

Posh+Lavish is sold in the same store. House models win on price, such as Melissa Queen at $1,799 against Posh+Lavish sets that run thousands higher with periodic $1,500 promos. Posh+Lavish wins on national all-latex prestige. Therapedic and Dutch Craft win on broader lineups and standard warranty cards. The house models win on natural-latex storytelling and veteran-collection giveback.

Against online latex hybrids, All American wins on in-person testing, custom sizes, 0% financing and local delivery with haul-away. Online rivals win on published trials, often about 100 nights, published return shipping and plenty of third-party reviews.
