Yes for most buyers who want a medium-firm all-foam mattress.
Cooling is the catch. Tom's Guide recorded a maximum temperature rise of 11.5°F within the first 5 minutes. Hot sleepers should weigh that result.
Want premium, body-hugging memory foam, especially for side or back sleepers or couples? Loom & Leaf from Saatva may fit better. Nectar's Queen list price is $1,099; Loom & Leaf's Queen price is $3,179.
Nectar's trial lasts 365 nights and its return fee is $0. Buy it only if you use that time to judge comfort at home.

Pros
Edge support. Tom's Guide gave the bed 5 out of 5 for edge support, a plus if you use the sides.
Motion isolation. Sleepopolis scored motion isolation 4.7 out of 5; its tester mainly noticed a partner getting in and out of bed.
CertiPUR-US foams. Nectar says all of its foams are certified to meet CertiPUR-US standards for content, emissions, and durability.
Fiberglass-free build. Nectar says the Classic is 100% fiberglass-free.
Cons
Pressure mismatch. A Sleep Foundation reviewer who weighs 140 lb said the mattress felt too firm and pressed on the hips and shoulders.
Back support concern. Tom's Guide tester Becky George said the lumbar support fell short over time for her sore back.
No rotation. Nectar says not to flip or rotate the mattress, so you cannot turn it over as part of its care.
How firm is the Nectar Classic Memory Foam, and which firmness should you pick?
Pick the Nectar Classic if you want a medium-firm to firm feel; the readings do not support choosing it for a softer feel. Nectar calls its option a medium-firm feel and rates it 6.5 on a 1-10 scale.

Is the Nectar Classic Memory Foam right for your sleep position and body weight?
Sleep Foundation calls the Nectar Classic Memory Foam a good match for side and back sleepers up to 230 lb. It warns support may fall short over 230 lb in side, back, or stomach positions.
Side: A 140 lb side sleeper found it too firm, with hip and shoulder pressure, especially while changing positions. That report is a caution for combination sleepers who switch positions. A 210 lb side sleeper felt supported, with cushioned shoulders and hips. Sleep Foundation rated side fit over 230 lb at 8.5.
Back: A 215 lb back sleeper found it firm and supportive. Sleep Foundation's back rating over 230 lb was 6.0.
Stomach: Over 230 lb, the 5.5 rating makes stomach sleeping a less certain fit.
Tom's Guide rated edge support 5 out of 5, a strong score if you sleep near the bed's edge.

Neck: lying on your side, ask if your pillow and the bed keep your head in line with your spine.
Shoulders: ask if the shoulder under you settles in, or if you feel a pinch after a few minutes.
Back: lying face up, slide a hand under your waist and ask if your lower back feels supported or left hanging.
Hips: ask if your hips dip lower than your shoulders, like lying in a shallow bowl.
Four checks: lie still for a few minutes in the position you sleep in most, then notice how each spot feels. These are comfort checks, not a medical test.Sources (2)
Is the Nectar Classic Memory Foam good for back pain?
The Nectar Classic is worth considering for back support if you prefer a firm feel, but tester feedback is mixed. Nectar calls it firm and says it gives solid support; it also says firm mattresses are great for people with back pain. Sleepopolis chief medical product tester Dr. Joe Tedesco said it could suit people who need alignment to feel comfortable. Tom's Guide tester Becky George said its lumbar support fell short over time for her sore back. The mixed feedback means its firm feel is not a guarantee of pain relief.

The Nectar Classic can build up heat, so its feel is not clearly neutral. Nectar says the cover has cooling fibers and a treatment against microbes. It describes the fabric as breathable and cool to the touch, and says the mattress design encourages airflow. Tom's Guide recorded a maximum rise of 11.5°F within the first 5 minutes. Mattress Clarity's reading went from 68.5°F at first to 72.4°F after about seven minutes. NapLab recorded 76.5°F at the start, a high of 88.3°F, and 80.5°F at the end. Sleepopolis found a 4.5-degree temperature increase, and Sleep Advisor recorded an 8-degree increase over the test. If you sleep hot, these readings give reason to be cautious.

Yes, you may notice partner movement, especially when they get in or out of bed. Sleepopolis's tester said they felt movement only as the partner got in or out, then scored motion isolation 4.7 out of 5; the ball bounced 9 inches. If you are a light sleeper with a restless partner, do not count on complete isolation.
NapLab called motion transfer low and measured 9.49 m/s² acceleration; it rated bounce moderate at 8.07 inches. RTINGS.com scored motion isolation 8.4 and bounciness 6.3, with a maximum rebound height of 9.0 cm (3.5 inches).

The Nectar Classic has foam between its top and bottom covers. Read the list from top to bottom. Compare the foam types and depths with another mattress when you shop.
For sheet fit, match the fitted sheet's pocket depth to the mattress height before buying. That check helps you choose a sheet that can cover the mattress.
Layers: in the order the brand lists them. Layer order only, not to scale.
The Nectar Classic has a poly-blend cover, while CertiPUR-US® applies to all its foams, not the whole mattress. Nectar says those foams meet the certification’s standards for content, emissions, and durability. Nectar describes the cover as cool to the touch. For shoppers, this separates the cover’s material and feel from the foam’s certification.
Does the Nectar Classic Memory Foam have fiberglass?
Nectar says the Nectar Classic Memory Foam is 100% fiberglass-free. The brand says modern Nectar mattresses use rayon or a rayon and polyester blend for fire safety. That statement covers modern Nectar mattresses, while the fiberglass-free claim names the Classic. Check your mattress’s law tag to see its listed materials.
How long will it last, and does it need flipping or rotating?
NapLab estimates 8 to 10 years for the Nectar Classic, while RTINGS.com gives it a longevity score of 5.7. These are different kinds of readings, so use NapLab’s figure as the lifespan estimate, not the RTINGS.com score.
Nectar says most sleepers adjust within about 30 days, so allow that time before deciding whether the feel suits you. Nectar says not to flip or rotate it; leave it in its intended orientation.
