Pick the Premier Hybrid if you want Nectar's stated Medium feel. The brand says it evenly balances comfort and support. Sleep Foundation rates it Firm, 7 out of 10 on its firmness scale. Mattress Clarity scored it 6/10. Sleepopolis rated it 6.5/10 and called it a classic medium-firm. GoodBed rated it Medium-Firm (4). For side sleepers over 230 pounds, Sleep Doctor says the firm feel helped keep the spine aligned. Heavier back sleepers wanted more hip support, while stomach sleepers wanted more support through the midsection. The foam layers and springs helped maintain spinal alignment for stomach sleepers.
Weight limits depend on size: Twin and Twin XL support 500 lb; Full, Queen, King, Split King, and Cal King support 1,000 lb distributed evenly. Keep the total load within your size’s limit. Sleep Foundation rated edge support 7.0/10, average; the edges felt weaker than other parts of the mattress, so expect less support near the sides.

Neck: lying on your side, ask if your pillow and the bed keep your head in line with your spine.
Shoulders: ask if the shoulder under you settles in, or if you feel a pinch after a few minutes.
Back: lying face up, slide a hand under your waist and ask if your lower back feels supported or left hanging.
Hips: ask if your hips dip lower than your shoulders, like lying in a shallow bowl.
Four checks: lie still for a few minutes in the position you sleep in most, then notice how each spot feels. These are comfort checks, not a medical test.Sources (4)
The Premier Hybrid may suit back comfort, but it cannot promise pain relief. Nectar says the American Chiropractic Association endorses it to relieve back pain. That is Nectar’s claim, not a promise for you.
Sleep Foundation’s tester said it limited pressure buildup in their lower back. The tester also said it supported different positions and did not feel like it would give out. That is one tester’s experience, not proof it will ease your pain.

Ongoing back pain? Ask a doctor or physical therapist what support your back needs before you buy.
It may feel warm rather than neutral: outside testers recorded surface heat build-up. Nectar says its cover feels cool, has more cooling fibers than the Nectar Classic Hybrid, and is designed to improve airflow. Individually wrapped coils add airflow. Sleepopolis’s Riley measured 65.7 degrees before lying down and 74.5 after 5 minutes, an increase of 8.8 degrees. Sleep Advisor’s tester recorded 66.7 degrees Fahrenheit initially, 74.4 after 5 minutes, and 75.5 after 10 minutes. Mattress Clarity’s tester measured 69.5 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit after 5 minutes and said the rise was not too bad. NapLab recorded a maximum surface-level temperature of 88.2° F.

The cover is soft fabric with cooling fibers and antimicrobial treatment. Nectar says the flexible polyurethane foam meets CertiPUR-US® standards for content, emissions, and durability. CertiPUR-US® certifies flexible polyurethane foam only, not furniture or product lines. For this mattress, that means the certification applies to its foam, not the cover or full bed.

No. Nectar says the Premier Hybrid is 100% fiberglass-free. Nectar says modern Nectar mattresses use rayon or a rayon and polyester blend for fire safety. It says these materials are used instead of fiberglass. That statement covers modern Nectar mattresses, not this model alone. Check your law tag to see the materials listed for this mattress.
How long will it last, and does it need flipping or rotating?
Sleepopolis says it is reasonable to expect the Nectar Premier Hybrid to perform well for 7 to 10 years, and Nectar says not to flip or rotate it. Sleep Foundation rates its durability 8.5/10. That score describes durability, not years of use.
Nectar recommends giving it at least 30 nights to break in. Give it that time before deciding whether its feel suits you.
The brand says the Nectar Premier Hybrid ships boxed to your door by FedEx or UPS Ground. Its stated wait is 1 to 2 days to ship, then about 2 to 5 business days, so plan around that delivery window. The brand says setup is not included; White Glove setup costs $199 for up to two items. The brand includes old mattress removal with White Glove, but state recycling fees apply in CA, RI and CT.

Nectar says its warranty has no end year and ends if the original buyer sells the mattress. Sagging of more than 1.5 in is covered, not normal softening or sag from an improper base. Use firm, solid support; an inappropriate foundation or box spring, or cover removal, voids coverage. Claim through the return request process. Nectar may repair and re-cover or replace; a new replacement is free and keeps original warranty dates. Nectar does not require you to pay a share of the mattress price. In years 10 and on, transport costs $50 each way unless Nectar confirms a defect.

On Nectar’s own site, owners praise comfort and back support, while some say the mattress feels firmer than they prefer. The site lists a 4.4 rating from 4,277 reviews, a snapshot of feedback posted there.
Sleep Advisor says negative owner reviews often cite firmness, with some finding the mattress too soft and others too firm. That split means the score cannot tell you whether the feel will suit you, so weigh these comments against your preferred firmness before you decide to buy.
